Good news is that the current administration has been on record to not favor shutdowns
Todd, Vicki and Coral open up a discussion regarding the three different types of financial services industry companies and how the differences affect the consumer. A bank makes decisions that are always going to favor the bank which is the opposite of a Fiduciary Approach. Banks also don’t have to be transparent about investigations concerning security laws broken internally. Broker Dealers deal from their own inventory, putting the Firm before the clients, and advisors have sales goals to hit, putting these markers before the well-being of the clients.

Enter registered investment advising firms (RIAs) who assume liability for their clients funds, maintain discretion, and must, at all times adhere to the fiduciary approach. Todd highlights some prime examples that prove the client first mantra that RIAs live by.

n this episode, Todd highlights inflation and the wave of price increases many major companies are making, and expresses his disagreement with Federal Reserve Chair, Jerome Powell, who says these increases are only temporary.
