This episode uses a metaphor to describe how we believe in, have faith in, and relate with Jesus today versus when he was living on earth. Metaphors by definition are limited and this one is not an attempt to describe the Trinity but rather how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and Scripture form a chain of witness for us to relate with Christ today.
