Hollywood Star Playhouse, aired from 1950 to 1953 on CBS, ABC and NBC, is a radio dramatic anthology series in the United States. The series presented suspenseful dramas which starred big names in Hollywood. In its three years, it was able to bring theater to the comfort of everyone’s home. The playhouse genre became popular especially since this period of time was the post-economic depression of US.
