I normally record my podcast in the studio with my guests. But this week's guest, Misha Rogalskiy, couldn't be with us because he's in Ukraine. A country which is currently being invaded by Russia, and where Misha has been living and running his businesses for the past few months.

Misha is the co-founder of two companies - Monobank, the largest neobank in Ukraine, and The Credit Thing a credit card app that helps people gain access to affordable credit.

I sat down with Misha on this episode as he told me all about the toll that war has taken on his businesses, how it has changed his perspective on life, and the work he is doing to provide affordable credit to Ukrainian refugees in the UK.

You can find out more about The Credit Thing at: https://thecreditthing.com/

The Credit Thing app is also available to download on Google Play and on the App Store.

Charlotte Jessop is the founder of financial education platform Look After Your Pennies, and has nearly 100,000 followers across social media. She has also been featured on ITV, the BBC, LadBible and the Financial Times, sharing her money tips with the nation.

On this week's episode we sat down to answer the question: Do you need to be good at maths to be good with money? And how can being comfortable with numbers help you to better manage your money?

Charlotte is not only a financial content creator, but she is also a former teacher and a mum. In this conversation, Charlotte shares practical ways we can all improve our confidence with numbers to be able to get on with our finances.
