Summer has begun! Hence the delay in episodes... Sorry! Tonight Sam went to see a friend's artwork and Eli made pasta... Which actually means that we all have something different for dinner. It was a pretty quick one. We eat out on our deck now, so you can hear birds and cars.

Dad made hotdogs for dinner. Sam came here me sick on Thursday, and couldn't go to school, because of their cold, so, they missed their Senior prom. They were, naturally, upset. We also heard from Eli, who was freaking out about the class trip to DC he was going to undertake starting Saturday morning, and returning a week later.

We're back! Dad came back home from a 5 week stay at the hospital, then we got COVID! We're now all better and back in our usual groove. Tonight Sam and Dad made tofu and pasta. We discussed Eli's trip to Ecuador in 2020, just as COVID took over the world.

The kids had their first day back at school. Neurodivergents will know, that this can bring up complicated feelings - excitement about seeing friends, but difficulty with the change in routine. Both came home with headaches. Sam blamed their anxiety, and Eli blamed auditory sensory overload and wore headphones at the dinner table. It was a tough dinner, but very real.
