For Father's Day, we welcome Bro. Alan Moore from the Gideons International ministry in to the pulpit to share with us about their ministry and the impacts it has had around the world for decades.
When Jesus appeared to the disciples, He gave them some orders - to go and make disciples. Some 2,000 years later, those are still our marching orders as the church. This week we look at Matthew 28:16-20 to see what we can learn from and how we can be encouraged by those words.
From Matthew 28:11-15 we see where the soldiers were bribed by the High Priests to not tell that Jesus had been resurrected. From this we can learn to guard against the power of the enemy's lies, the attraction of his lies, and the appeal of the lies.
This morning we were in Matthew 28:1-10 as the women went to the tomb to find that Jesus had been raised to life and was no longer there. This points us to the transforming power of the Gospel!
This week we looked at Matthew 27:57-66 as Christ had been crucified and His death verified in several ways. We learn that we can have complete confidence that Christ defeated death!
For Mother's Day we looked at 1 Samuel 25 and how Abigail displayed Christlikeness through Christ-like trust and Christ-like wisdom.
Today we looked at Matthew 27:45-54 as Christ suffered death on the cross for our sins. We see that He experienced not only the abandonment of the Father but also the wrath of the Father, taking our place.
This morning we looked at Matthew 27:27-44 where Jesus was mocked and then crucified. We were reminded that Christ completely removed our sins from us by taking sin's shame, removing sin's guilt, and defeating sin's power.
Happy Resurrection Day! Today we celebrate our risen Savior as we look at Psalm 21 and we're reminded that Christ's resurrection is the source of all of our joy and comfort.
This Palm Sunday we look at Matthew 27:11-26 where Matthew tells us of Jesus standing before the authorities and being condemned to death on a cross. He was examined, rejected by the people, and condemned to die which we know today was His sacrifice for our sins.
This week in Bro. Randy's absence, Dr. Wesley Perkins brought the message "Biblical Rest" from Hebrews 3:7-4:16.
Bro. Stefan Eubanks brought our message this morning in Bro. Randy's absence and we looked at John 9 where we're told about Jesus giving the man born blind his sight.
This week were were in Matthew 27:1-10 where Judas felt remorse for betraying Christ for 30 pieces of silver. What can we learn from his attempt to return the payment to the priests?
This morning we looked at Matthew 26:69-75 and Peter's denial that he even knew Christ. What can we learn from Peter's actions?
This morning we were back in Matthew, looking at Matthew 26:57-68 as Jesus stood before the High Priest and other Jewish leaders as they were seeking to condemn Him to death.
This morning we looked at 2 Peter 1:3-11 and were reminded that we should acknowledge our resources, accept our responsibility, and anticipate our results.
As we were going to be taking Communion, or often called The Lord's Supper, this morning, Bro. Randy shared a message on the signs and symbols that are part of it.
Today we looked at Matthew 26:47-56 where Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. What we see in Jesus is his faithfulness on our behalf and for our example. What can we learn from Christ's actions?
As we look at Matthew 26:36-46 today, we read about Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. In this passage we can see the depth of His sorrow, the intensity of His prayer, and the resolve of His faithfulness. What can we learn from His example?
This morning we looked at Matthew 26:17-35 and were reminded that Christ's work provides all-sufficient saving and sustaining grace for us.
Today we looked at Matthew 26:6-13 and were reminded that the worship of Christ is of infinite value to us as His followers.
As we were back in the Gospel of Matthew today, looking at Matthew 26:1-5, we were reminded that we come into the Kingdom through Christ's substitutionary death and through His sovereign plan.
We were glad to have Pastor Randy back in the pulpit this morning as he brought a new year themed message from 1 Thessalonians 2:1-8.
Today, Bro. Ronnie Toon brought our message in Bro. Randy's absence from Philippians 4:4-9, encouraging us to have a positive outlook and sound mind as we embark on the new year.
Bro. Stefan Eubanks brought our message this morning from the book of Philippians. He encouraged us to look at the way God has worked in our lives in the past year and to look to this coming year and how we will join God in His work in and through our lives. In part 3 of our look at John 1:1-18 and delighting in the mystery of God made man, we are reminded that we have everything we need in Christ, we can find true rest in Christ, and we gain confidence in Christ.

Today we look at Galatians 2:15-21 with the message on the five marks of a reforming Christian - we are saved by faith alone, on the authority of scripture alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone, all for the glory of God alone.
Are you ready? This morning we looked at Matthew 24:32-42 about the return of Christ - we were reminded that His return is certain and His return is imminent!
This morning we looked at Matthew 24:15-28 and were reminded that even in the great tribulations, we should never turn to false hope but should endure until Christ's coming.
This morning, Dr. Wesley Perkins filled the pulpit as Bro. Randy was on vacation this past week. Wesley shared with us from 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 about reconciliation and how we are reconciled to Christ as followers of His. He also posed some questions to us, encouraging us to let the fact that we are reconciled with God impact our lives and asked us what it looks like for us to be ambassadors for Christ and bring reconciliation to others.
This week we were looking at Matthew 24:1-14 where Christ encourages us to persevere in faith no matter what comes our way.
This morning we looked at Matthew 23:37-39 and were reminded that in order to show the world the heart of Christ, we must model Christ's compassionate plea to gather them.
Today we are in Matthew 23:13-36 and come across a clear warning from Christ - that to avoid the coming disaster, we must mark and avoid false teachers.
Today we were back in the Gospel of Matthew, Matthew 23:1-12, and were reminded that to avoid our Lord's condemnation, we must pursue genuine ministry. Listen to the message to learn how we can do just that.
This week we looked at some passages in the Old Testament and how they pointed to or foretold things about Christ as recorded in the New Testament.

From Luke 15:11-32, Dr. Wesley Perkins encouraged us on this Father's Day as he shared the parable of the Prodigal Son and how it relates to our daily lives.
This morning we looked at the beginning of Matthew 20 and the parable of the laborers. Or, the Parable of the Generous Farmer, as Pastor Randy likes to call it. What can we learn from Jesus' teaching here?

This morning we continued in chapter 13 of Matthew in three verses where Jesus told the disciples to let the little children come to Him. We are reminded of the importance of humility in the Kingdom and that we should embrace it for the Kingdom.
Today, Bro. Randy tackled a passage that can sometimes be difficult to understand - a passage on marriage and divorce and how marriage is viewed from a Kingdom perspective.
This morning's message from Psalm 2 was a reminder of how we are all sinful people, enemies of God, and redeemed only by the blood of the Son, Jesus Christ, and that we must take refuge in Him. It reminds us that we're called to a life of godly living that is only possible when we take refuge in Christ.
This morning, we welcomed Dr. Rex Horne, the Executive Director of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, as he brought the message to us from Exodus 33.
This week we focus again on forgiveness - specially that we are to forgive others as God has forgiven us. But it's not always easy. Listen to the message to be encouraged on how we can forgive others who have wronged us.
Happy Easter! He is risen! Today we look at a passage in Ephesians 1 where Paul, after he had explained salvation, prayed that believers - including us today - would grow deeper in the Gospel as we walk through life.

Today we're reminded of Jesus' words at the end of Matthew 18 as we are taught that we are to freely forgive one another when someone sins against us.
Continuing our look at Matthew 18 and the passage that talks about church discipline and, more importantly restoration, this morning we looked at the steps we're to follow when working with someone through an issue.
Today we continue in chapter 18 of Matthew and are reminded that the Church must practice the ministry of restoration with fellow believers.

As we begin chapter 18 of Matthew this week we are reminded that in order to build the covenant community we must humble ourselves and instead focus on Christ.
This week we are reminded that true freedom comes from Christ and His sacrifice for us. It was accomplished by His work, established in His personal relationship, and modeled in sacrificial trust.
This week we are back in our study through the Gospel of Matthew, looking at the first twelve verses of chapter 17.

As we get ready to begin a new year tomorrow, this morning we looked at Ephesians 5:15-17 and learned how we, as believers, should walk in 2024.
It's our fifth week of Advent and this morning we looked at Titus 2:11-14 and what grace does for us.
On this the fourth week of our Advent focus we look at Luke 2:25-35 where Simeon sees the Christ child as he was promised he would before he died. What can we learn from what he said to Mary and Joseph that day?
This week we're reminded that we can increase our joy by praising God for our deliverance from sin and an eternity separated from Him. Listen to the message to hear about this joy we have in Christ.
This week we continue looking at the end of Luke chapter 1 as John is born to prepare the way of Christ for his ministry. We're reminded that we must witness to true life in Christ with others.
As we begin the Advent season, today's message from the last part of Luke chapter 1 looks at Zachariah and his obedience to God in naming he and Sarah's son. We are reminded of God's provision and God's purposes for all that He does. We're also reminded of three things we can take away from this - to rest in His mercy, hope in His promise, and live out our days to His glory.
As we approach the day set aside to give thanks for all that we have, this morning we looked at Deuteronomy 8 and were reminded that to increase our thanksgiving we should look backward, look inward, and look forward. Listen to it as you reflect on your blessings this week.
As we continue through Matthew 16 today, we are reminded in verses 21-28 that we must accept the need to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of following Christ by setting our minds on the things of Christ and by embracing the sufferings of Christ.
This week we learn from Matthew 16 that Christ builds his church upon the confession of those who have been born again and the commission for us to tell others about Him.
This week we look at Matthew 16:1-14 and find examples of how we should be alert and discern truth among all of the noise of the world around us.
This week we look at Matthew 15:29-39 where Jesus again feeds a large group of people - this time 4,000 men plus the women and children. What can we learn from this second feeding miracle? Listen to today's message to find out!
We were blessed to have Logan bring the message this morning! It was a great reminder of mercy from the book of Philemon.
No matter what difficulties or hardships we face, we are to remain faithful to Christ and remember that He is always faithful. We must remember that what Christ wants to do in us is far more important that what we want Him to do for us.
We often blame our sin on external things - something around us made us do it. But is that accurate? Or does our sin come from within?
As in Jesus' day, many are more concerned with clean hands than they are with clean hearts. Only Christ can cleanse the heart. Listen to today's message to find out how to be a part of this cleansed community of believers.
Must like Peter had to cry out to Jesus to save him from sinking into the sea, we must call upon Christ to be rescued from our sin.

Christ calls the church to be on mission for the Kingdom. But in what ways are we to be on mission? This week Pastor Randy covers two of the four essentials shown to us in this passage.
"Do this in remembrance of me." A phrase Jesus said at the last supper which many of us have heard many times. What does The Lord's Supper mean to us today? It should be a reminder of His sacrifice for us and remind us to look backward, look inward, and look forward as we reflect on our own lives and ways we need to grow in our faith.
This week we discuss a very important part of our faith - baptism. Baptism is the defining sign of our conversion. This week we answer some of the common questions about baptism and what it means to us as Christians.

This week as we begin chapter 5 of Matthew we are reminded that we must seek and pursue biblical faith in our daily lives.
Returning to our study through the Gospel of Matthew this week, today we are back in chapter 4 where we see Jesus calling his disciples to follow Him much like we are to commit to Christ’s Lordship over us in our lives as we too are His followers.
