Hypnosis, by many other names, has been a key element to health and healing for thousands of years. Many Native American healing rituals were akin to today’s hypnosis processes. Over 4,000 years ago, Egyptian sleep temples and dream temples included practices that were very similar to modern day hypnosis. The 5,000 year old practice of yoga contains many of the same elements of hypnosis intended for connecting and healing mind and body. Surgeons and other medical practitioners were using hypnosis for both anesthesia and for recovery in the 1800s. For about 100 years hypnosis seems to have slipped from the medical playbooks. However, with the rise in popularity of mindfulness and holistic and alternative medicine, hypnosis is making a healthcare comeback.
On episode 7, Craig and Larry take you through the many aspects of hypnosis used in the medical field and in the healing of the body. They discuss the history of some of these uses and how it came into practice. They also discuss why it fell out of mainstream use. The discussion then turns to the many uses of hypnosis in modern day wellness. Learn some of the processes and how they work. Enjoy some of the real-life experiences that the hosts have been a part of regarding the healing powers of hypnosis.
Later in the podcast, Larry shares his personal journey of healing from stage 3 throat cancer. He explains the positive mindset that he had throughout his treatments. Hear directly from him what roll hypnosis played in his healing and continues to play in his life as he celebrates and appreciates every day of cancer free living. Learn some of the processes that he used and that can be used by others to assist in allowing the body to accept modern day treatments as part of its healing and recovery.
The mind and body contain a blueprint to create and sustain a healthy body. Our bodies are virtually newly formed about every 9 months as that is the maximum life span of most cells. The regeneration of our cells needs the proper environment to form healthfully. We understand this when it comes to nutrition, exercise, and rest. However, the mind and body also require a silent calmness, free from stress, to produce healthy cells. Learn how to use hypnosis and other practices to accomplish that on this episode of Hypnotic Rhythm, Healing Hypnosis.

The conversation begins with creating the proper setup of your space & other ideas which might benefit your experience.
