The way that we can learn about the things that are only known to the heart of God, is by spending time with Him. Not just by praying and talking to Him, but also by listening to Him. He wants to reveal secrets to you. The Creator of the universe longs to speak to you just as He spoke with Moses and Abraham. He wants to spend time with you, are you willing to spend time with Him?
The Bible tells us about people that were known for walking with God. They knew about things that were only known to the heart of God because they themselves walked with God. Do you want to learn about the things that only God knows about? Then you need to be walking with God. When we spend time with God, we allow Him to put burdens on our heart that we should be praying for and that are in His heart as well.
We shouldn’t live our lives by how we feel. You are a prince or princess of the Lord! He has elevated you to sit with princes. This is how we live by faith. Not according to how we feel or what the enemy says, but according to what the Lord says.
Do you feel like you’re in a place of unfruitfulness, no joy and no hope, a place of dryness? God is looking for you today in Lodebar to show you His kindness, to restore you and lift you up in peace and joy.
One of the great testimonies that was given of a man, or a woman in the Bible was that they walked with God. Are you someone that is walking with God? When we learn to walk with God, and have an intimate relationship with Him, He’ll give what you need to make it to the end.
What kind of faith did Noah have? Noah believed the word of God. We also must believe the word of God. We must exercise our faith just as Noah did. Noah believed what hadn’t been done yet, what hadn’t been seen yet. That’s the kind of faith Noah had and the kind of faith we need to have.
Are you lacking joy today? Your heart will always be restless if we try to fill it with things of this world. For us as children of God, there is - and should always be - a reason to be happy and joyful. What is the root of our joy and what is the secret to always be happy and joyful?
We can see the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit around us, but also inside of us. We cannot accomplish anything in our own strength, and we don’t have to! The Holy Spirit is there with you and manifests Himself in you to be a different man, a different woman and to live a different life. His power is a promise from God. Are you open to receive His transforming power today?
There are outward and inward things where we can see the power of the Holy Spirit at work. We can see that power by the effect it has on our lives. And we can see the power of the Holy Spirit when we look to other people and see what He has done in them. John T.L. shares four outward manifest signs that the Holy Spirit is strong, mighty and working.
All power belongs to God and He has the power to do what we can’t. John T.L. shares an amazing testimony about his wife who could not sing anymore, but God did a miracle. We should not limit God by telling Him how He should do a miracle. He knows exactly what kind of miracle you need, believe for the impossible, believe for miracles today! John TL will also pray for miracles in your life.
The moment you accepted Jesus as your Savior, something wonderful happened, something changed in your life. We are a now a new creation, but sometimes that old life is still there and that wants to rule now and then. It’s time to put off all the things that belong to the old life and find out what it means to be a child of God. It’s time to wake up, rise up and put on the armor of light.
What joys does the gospel bring? Do you know the good life? The Bible has so much to be happy about. Jesus is alive in you and when He is alive in you there’s a fountain of joy! Do you know the joys of the gospel?
Have you received Jesus Christ? When you’re a child of God, you’re also an heir to all the blessings, all the good things and every promise in the Bible that is ‘yes and amen’ in Christ Jesus.
Do you feel a distance between you and God? Whatever the reason is, you can draw near to Jesus and He will draw near to you. He is standing with open arms, ready to receive you. When Jesus comes, He comes to bless, to save, to heal, deliver and to do miracles and give us a wonderful, blessed life. Jesus is our Shepherd who gave His life for us because He loves us and wants to bring us into safe places.
We are in a spiritual warfare and God has given us the armor to have victory over the enemy. The Bible says that the helmet is the hope of salvation. We need to keep the helmet of salvation on our head. It’s the hope in Christ, not in our intellect or whatever else, but the hope in Him and full dependency upon Him.
When Cain took the life of his brother Abel, the innocent blood of Abel cried out to God for justice and vengeance. The blood of Abel had a voice, but the blood of Jesus has a greater voice! It is shed for us on the cross of Calvary and speaks of forgiveness for us who are guilty and stained with sin. Because of His blood we are free from sin, guilt, the power of the enemy and even death! We have received eternal life through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Have you ever wrestled with God in prayer? This message will encourage you and inspire you to be someone who loves to pray, to call unto the Lord and be faithful in your prayers and believe that all things are possible today.
We read in the Bible that Jesus was a man for all people. It doesn’t matter who you are in society: you can come to Jesus. You can come to Jesus today just as you are.
There is so much depth in the first words that are recorded of Jesus in the Bible when he was twelve years old. Jesus knew at twelve years old what His mandate was. He knew His Fathers purpose for Him on earth. God also has a purpose for your life. Do you feel that urgency to be in your Father’s business?
In whatever circumstance you may be in your life, in the midst of dark times, problems and things you don’t know how to get through, choose to step out of that darkness and step into that light and the sun of His blessing. Maybe there is bitterness in your life because of circumstances or experiences. But today, right now, God wants to turn that bitterness into sweetness.
There will come a time when we will all be weighed. But before that day comes, you have a responsibility. A justification to weigh yourself against the Word of God. It’s better to weigh ourselves today and adjust our lives to the grace of God, then to wait until He will put us in the scale and find ourselves wanting.
When we read the stories in the past, we find great men and women of faith who were tested in their faith. All of them had things in common that we also need today. How can we learn from their lives and apply that in our own life today?
Today, let us as children of God look at this world and see all those that are suffering and in need of salvation. Maybe you’re wondering if God can use you to reach people with the gospel. Let this message encourage you. When you give God all that you have, just like the boy with five loaves and two fishes gave Jesus all he had, He will use you through the Holy Spirit to reach others with the gospel of salvation.
We can call the Creator of heaven and earth ‘Abba Father’. You can have a relationship with God, the heavenly Father through His Son Jesus Christ. Even if you didn’t have a good example as a father here on earth, God wants to be your Father. He is the perfect Father.
The right shoes are important. God has given us an armor to wear which will help us to fight the battles with success. Are you wearing the right shoes today? What does it mean to wear the shoes of the gospel?
As a child of God, you are in the army of God but you’re not defenseless. He has given us an armor to defend ourselves against the attacks of the enemy, but He has given us also a weapon to attack: the sword. It’s the Word of God, and it’s being used by the Spirit. Why and how do we use the sword of the Spirit in our lives today?
Every Christian, every child of God, is a soldier enlisted in the army of the Lord. We need the shield of faith that will quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. How can we use the shield of faith today in our own lives?
Jesus had a triumphant entry into heaven after He finished His work on the cross of Calvary. He gave us the gift of salvation, then ascended into heaven, but promises to come back into this world. Maybe you turned your back to God, or maybe you gave your heart to Him once, but drifted away from Him. God’s gift of salvation is for you. Come back to the Father, the place where the Holy Spirit leads you. Jesus conquered it all and He gave His gift of salvation and the Holy Spirit to fill you once again.
We ought to pray according to God’s promises, reminding Him of His Word to us. We can live standing on secure ground because we are standing on His Word.
There are great men and women that have been such an example and inspiration to us and many more people. Let us follow them as they have followed Christ and let us follow Christ above all. Let all these great men and women of faith impact us to also be a man or woman that He can use to be an example for the next generation.
Sometimes we need to fight a battle of faith through our sickness and brokenness. If you have sorrow and pain right now, or if you are grieving: this message will encourage your heart and faith today.
As a child of God, we should have borders in our life. We should draw the line where we cannot live the same as the world lives. The Bible has given us borders, if we want to obey the Word of God, there are borders in life we should not cross.
Maybe because of circumstances, things that occupy your mind, or whatever it may be, you have lost your contact with Jesus and your fellowship with Him, and you feel lovesick. Your heart feels dry and empty, longing for that love that once filled your soul. Today you can be found, and you can come back to your Lord and Savior.
When we think of Jesus, taking our place on the cross, He looks with tender loving eyes to us. He hang there because He loves us. He descended from heaven to die for us, went into the grave and set us free from the bondage of sin. After He resurrected, He ascended back to heaven, exalted in glory, where He will receive us one day.
Your salvation means so much more. You are a child of God, and you can enjoy every blessing that He has for you. Listen to this encouraging message where John T.L. beautifully explains how Noah in the ark paints a picture of our burying and resurrection with Christ.
The Lord is telling you today that your prayer has not been in vain! In some situations, we have to ask, and keep on asking. Keep on seeking Him, and He will give you the good life.
If you want to enjoy the blessings of God and His goodness, then we ought to live holy and pure. Through the Holy Spirit we can change our lifestyle in a way so that we may glorify the Father through the works that God can do through our lives.
It’s a blessed day, God wants you to know that you are greatly loved! Maybe you’re wondering: “How is it possible that God loves me?” It doesn’t matter who you are and where you come from or what you’ve done, God wants you to know today that He loves you with an abundant love.
Are you going through trials and difficult situations in your life right now? We have reason to rejoice because through the Holy Spirit we have eternal life! There is an angel guarding you with a flaming sword in his hand to guard that eternal life inside of you. Whatever struggles or sufferings you have in life, it is worth it to go through it all because the prize in the end is in eternity to enjoy.
Moses married an Ethiopian woman, and he got criticized for it. This paints a picture of Jesus marrying us, and being criticized by the Pharisees, yet Jesus loves us with an incomparable love. Jesus married us, sinners, He cleanses us and makes us whole and is changing us. Accept Jesus today, let Him make you whole.
The Bible is full of promises of good things that God wants to give to you. When your heart is full of the Word of God and what He has spoken, it will bless you. As a child of God, you have a right to receive all the good promises of God in which they are ‘yes and amen’ through Christ Jesus.

The Bible teaches us that we are not saved by our (good) works, but because of Christ. There’s nothing that mankind can do than to be saved but through Christ and what He has done. God wants to do good works through you, He wants us to be zealous for good works. But you must be born again to bring forth the good fruit.
Whatever problem or need you might have right now, whatever circumstance you are in: you are able through Christ to overcome, have victory and be blessed today! You are not alone in this trial. There is a difference in believing if Jesus ‘can’ do it and believing Jesus ‘wants’ to bring life and abundance in every area and aspect of your life. Jesus doesn’t just do great miracles, He does the grand miracle for you!
How can the blessing of the Lord come upon your house and on your family? How can blessings flow from your home to others? To be a blessing to the ones around you is one of the greatest things in life. Listen to these examples in the Bible where blessings flowed.
The best is still on its way and God will bring it to you through a miracle of multiplication. But it demands obedience on our part. There is something you must do and you must do it in faith. Get ready for a net-breaking, boat-sinking catch of fish!
We serve a miracle working God! He asks us to come into cooperation with Him and to involve Jesus in our situation. We need to place ourselves in a position to receive a miracle.
We can get strength out of the story of the Israelites. It's easy to point our fingers to them and call them stubborn, but what about you and me? How many times have we seen God move on our behalf and rescue us and yet at the next battle, we lose our faith? But still, God keeps on walking and talking with His children. In the toughest battle we can find solice in the way God cares for the Israelites.
God has not left you, even if you don't feel Him. We see throughout the Bible that God is always looking for ways to come near to His creation and He never turned His back to the children of Adam and Eve, meaning us! Time and time again we see that He finds ways to meet us, speak to us and lead us.

This is a message especially for those that are feeling lonely. John TL paints the picture of Jesus and His disciples. Whatever the issue was, Jesus was there as an elder parent always taking care of them. Jesus wanted them to know that even though He wouldn't always be there in the flesh, in person, He would never leave them as orphans because the Spirit would be in them as a great, wonderful and equal representation of the Son and the Father.
“God will make everything wonderfully well”, a word for this hour! This word has not changed and will never change. How do we prevent our hearts from being troubled? God doesn't look to way we say 'I have sinned'. He looks to the motives of the heart. In this message we look at the double-minded man, the insincere man, the doubtful penitent, the repentance of dispair, the repentance of the saint and the blessed confession.
Only to Him must we go to receive remission from sin. But not every confession of sin can be or will be answered in a favorable way. And John T.L. proves it out of the Word of God. We study 7 people who all said 'I have sinned' but not all received forgiveness.
There are times and seasons that God will move in wonderful ways and God will anounce those times to His children with a sound of a going. Don't assume you already know what God will do. Be attentive to the steering of the Lord in the sound of the mulberry trees.

Not all knowledge is power. Some knowledge is keeping you away from the real power. How do we receive this power? Listen to this message by John T.L. and be encouraged today.
There is a very important message in the last words that Jesus spoke to His disciples while He was still on the earth. Jesus didn't send us to the world to foretell the time of His return but to be witnesses. It's not good or profitable for us to occupy ourselves with the times that the Father has kept under His own authority and there they are in good hands!
Ruth embraced and submitted herself to the Word and the Spirit of God. She was available and followed the path that the Lord had set her on. She had a servant heart. Blend all of her characteristics together and we see how we can be the new Ruth generation!
The God that has not changed and will not change wants to do something in this generation, a generation with the characteristics of Ruth! Evaluate yourself as you learn about her character and ask the Lord to work out the character of Ruth within you with His Holy Spirit.
The time of the judges of Israel was not the best time for God's people. We see that God did not lead Naomi and Elimelech to leave Bethlehem but we also see that God never left them. And He used this troubling time to bring forth a divine connection.
The devil always moves as a fallen one: cursed and on his belly! Defeated! That is his destined position. But the children of God are ordained for success.
We must be aware that the devil is a strong enemy and the only way we can defeat him is through Jesus Christ, our Lord. By the power, wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit. By the protection, grace and love of the Father. We were ruined, that is a fact. But another fact is: we were redeemed!
The devil has over 6000 years of experience in tempting God's children. John T.L. makes a powerful statement as he warns you about the tactics of the devil. "The devil is not my friend. I don't talk to him directly. I tell him: 'see my Lawyer'. Jesus Christ has never lost a case!"
We're talking about the defeat of the devil to know that he has no power over us. So many christians are still living under the yoke of the enemy, but God did not curse mankind because they had sinned, He cursed the devil! God pronounced a sentence upon the serpent. He is cursed and will never have success in any of his plans!
The devil would have liked to settle his victory in the garden of Eden but every single plan of the devil has been destroyed and that's why we are still here today. This does teach us an important lesson. If the devil was able to become that snake and speak to Eve then who am I to believe that he will not come to me in such a cunning way that I don't see him coming to destroy me.
The crushing of the heel was terrible, but the crushing of the head was fatal! What does this mean for you personally? It is not just a truth out of the Bible that is beautiful and wonderful, but it is a truth for you and your family that will change your life: we are dealing with a cursed and defeated enemy.

The secret of the good life of blessings, success and prospering is hidden in the surrendered life. You have the power to lay down your life and to pick it up.
Are you downhearted? Barren? Do you feel like a beautiful tree that has been chopped down and all that's left is a treestump? There is a holy seed inside the treestump and this is the word of the Lord for you today!
We need to know that our secret to success in fighting the enemy of old is in using the old weapons that our forefathers used. Weapons of prayer, of remembering God's goodness and weapons of our own experiences with the Lord.
A special word for a new year of how old weapons of warfare can be used in a new season to bring new victories.
Thinking of that nativity scene, it's always pictured so beautiful and peaceful. It will make us to believe that it was all so calm. But when we study the lives of the characters, we see it was not so very calm and bright! But Jesus was there in every moment and that's why everything was okay. Do you believe Jesus is with you during the storm?
We don't have to be people that just walk in the flesh but we are partakers of the divine nature of Christ with a renewed heart and renewed desires. Christ came so that we may live in Him and our life is hidden in Christ and together with Him, we are in the Father. What are some of the characteristics of this divine nature?
The Lord chose us and He can not bear for us to choose another! We talk about love in this Christmas season but what about our love for Him? He is jealous for your love!

In this season of Thanksgiving we are so thankful for the ones that have gone before us through the valley of weeping and have dugged wells for us to enjoy. But without the blessing from above, those well we be of no use to us. When you obtain a blessing, that blessing is not just for you. It will be shared through you and because of you to many people around you.
Even though I cannot fully comprehend or understand the mercy of God, I can enjoy it and move forward because of it. It's up to us personally, to study God's mercy and to meditate on it. Let's dive into this wonderful subject of the mercy of God and let's believe that the Holy Spirit will give us revelation.
A very famous story with so much food for thought. This story makes us think of the church of Jesus Christ. Listen to wonderful revelation concerning the symbols in this story of King Solomon and the two women that came to him with their heartbreaking quarrel.

The Bible talks about the archers that shot Joseph. Archers of envy, jealousy, temptation and false accusation. But Joseph overcame! God is with us and He is well able to bring us the victory and to bring us out without bitterness or hatred in our hearts.
Elijah knew that God would answer Him. His time alone with God had given him supernatural faith to show the people how absurd it was to compare the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to their dead gods. Banish the voice of the evil one and believe that there is a miracle prepared for you on Mount Carmel!
This series will help you to move forward to your mount Carmel! God is bringing you to that place where He will answer with fire and it will be an undisputed victory for you. Not because of what you think that you can do, but because of all of the heavenly hosts that are on your side. Just like they were with Elijah.
We need to be made ready for God's service. How does that precious thing inside you become purified? It has to go through the fire! God uses Zarephath, the melting pot, to bring us through fire and His hand of love stays upon us along the way.
We're talking about change. It can be something we dread, but it is often necessary. It purifies us and brings us to a place of character. Learn more about this melting oven in Elijah's life. Zarephath, a very important place where God leads us to as well.
Lessons at the Brook Kerith for the mature christian include knowing the value of the hidden life with the Lord. The Lord came to Elijah with a Word, as Elijah was spending time with Him in solitude at the Brook Kerith. This is no microwave Gospel! The Carmel moment will come and it will be glorious, but this time of seclusion with God is essential.
In our lives, God may send us to a particular place where He commits Himself to make his promises a reality. Are you still at the place God told you to be? What if that place runs out of supplies? Your Mount Carmel moment will never happen if you don't spend time in solitude at the Brook Kerith. Let's continue to study the life of the man who was just like us: Elijah.
Was Elijah's strength out of a source that is unreachable to us? Not at all! That's why it's so good for us to study his life. Elijah had a revelation of a different dimension of the power of God and this dimension is available to us today because God is alive, God is near and God is our strength.
The power that brought down the strongholds of the enemy is able to bring them down today. God will give due on His Word! John T.L. passionately shares the secret of Elijah's source of strength and this source is available to you today. You cannot confront what is against you if you don't stand in the same strength as Elijah.
In this introduction to the source of Elijah's strength, John T.L. paints the picture of the wicked time Elijah was living in. Ahab, who hated the God of Israel; Jezebel, his evil queen; the false prophets and the true prophets of God who were slaughtered or hiding. Doesn't this situation hold similarities for us today? When we have prayed everything we know to pray, God starts working and He is preparing you for your mount Carmel moment!
This is a special Word from the Lord for you! We continue this sermon in the life of David where we see the preventative grace of God in his life. Preventative grace is when the Lord keeps you from taking matters into your own hands or from saying something that feels right but is not right for you to do and can come back to you on a day of reckoning. This powerful message is for today but also to be reminded of in future battles.
When we talk about grace, we usually think of the grace we receive when we've done something wrong. And there are many miracles of the grace of God that we can see when we look back in our lives. But the greatest miracles - most probably - the Lord has done without me even knowing it! He was protecting me from things or situations and that's: preventative grace, the preventing of the Lord in our life from certain things that keep us from harm.
Perhaps you have lost that intimacy with Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit. But the scepter of God's grace, mercy and love has been stretched out to us and if you touch it today believe that at that very instant everything is brand new and you are excepted by the Father! What are some obstacles that can ruin our relationship with God and how do we overcome them?
Where is that blessing that you encountered when you first met the Lord? Have you thrown away the gift of God like a stone in the lake? Jesus can place those stones, those blessings back into your hand! Take courage dear friend, this is a loving invitation. Be encouraged by the steps that John T.L. lays out in this message to go back to that first love.
Your body can be suffering or in pain, but your spirit, which is in the hand of God, can be preserved of the corruption of this world. God is the Source of your strength, your joy and your peace. If you would just lift up your hands today, the yoke over your life can be broken by the worship that will come out of your mouth. Don't just lift up your hands and keep a frown on your face. Choose to rejoice in the Lord!
During the season of Pentecost, the disciples were waiting in expectation, excitement and unity. This is not some ancient script of the past; this is relevant for us today. The Lord comes when there is a need for Him to come. If we would not leave prayer until we would receive what we were asking for, something BIG would happen!
In this powerful message John T.L. speaks a prophetic Word from God for this season. Let this season of Pentecost be a revival in YOU. The Holy Spirit has more to offer if we can be like a sponge to be saturated by Him. How much more could the Holy Spirit do THROUGH us if He would be allowed to do so much more IN us. Do you want to be part of that living stream of the Holy Spirit?
How absolutely necessary is the power of the Holy Spirit! We don't dare to testify of the mystery of Jesus until the anointing of the Spirit has come upon us and has blessed us from above. It's not just for teachers, preachers, prophets, apostles or evangelists. It's for every believer. If you want to share Jesus and the mystery of the Gospel with your friends and family, the Holy Spirit will make all the difference.
Here are five points that can be the cause of the storm that God allowed in your life. What is God trying to accomplish through the storm? God can use the storm for your good! And He can make the storm into something that will bless you and bless your entire life.
Let's talk about storms. What kind of storms are there and what causes these storms? What do we do when the storm hits and how do we ride out the storm? John T.L. gives deep insight in this encouraging message.
Many times, God used women to do something in ministry. Listen to this inspiring message about Esther, Mary the mother of Jesus, the woman at the well, Mary of Bethany, Mary of Magdalene and Lydia. God used their testimony to save the world! John T.L. closes with a special prayer for all women in the world.
Jesus wears the many crowns of thanksgiving. Given to Him by all the believers: the mighty do'ers, the mighty sufferers, the chief sinners and those with little faith. This message will move you to ascribe unto Him your crowns of thanksgiving.
Jesus is not only wearing crowns by inheritance, but also crowns that He won through many victories. Jesus had to endure every shape and every size of trial, every form of sin. He overcame sin for us! He overcame death for us! Has He also won the crown of victory over your life?
Jesus' empire is higher than the highest heaven, but He has dominion over the lowest hell as well! He wears that diadem in heaven, that iron crown in hell and also here on earth He is Lord and everything bows to His reign! All things are upheld by the word of His power. Are you wondering what is happening to the world? Be encouraged that Jesus will come and make everything brand new and the glory of this world is already His.
"It is finished". Words that echo throughout eternity! You need to know the power that these words hold. Don't be ignorant of these things. The devil will come after you and when you don't know that this sacrifice has satisfied the demands of the law, then you will continue to live under guilt and return to the spirit of slavery. We are now sons and daughters that cry out 'Abba Father'. But you need to know on which grounds.
Jesus said: "Lord, receive My Spirit". This can be a daily lifestyle for us! God is so willing to take our lives into His hands and to keep it safe for all of eternity. Learn how you can live a lifestyle of surrender through this powerful message by ev. John T.L. Maasbach.
"Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachtani?" This was what Jesus had to suffer, being completely separated from the Father. That would be unbearable for us and yet we would have to carry that day after day! Jesus took that cup and drink all of it and He cried out: "My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?" Do you understand the price that He paid for you?
Jesus was able to save the thief hanging next to Him on the cross, while Jesus Himself was in such a weak state in body, in flesh. This thief put his trust completely upon this mutilated body, this Man that was hanging next to him. How much more is He able to save today when He is risen to glory, sitting there with a name above every other name! One drop of the blood of Jesus is able to wash away a lifetime of sin and make you holy and acceptable before God.
“Father forgive them, because they don't know what they're doing". This prayer is our example. Our success and victory in prayer depends a great deal on our relationship with the Father. In Jesus' hour of great need He is not praying for Himself. He is interceding for those that are nailing him to the cross! And as He prayed these words upon the cross, so He is praying these words upon the throne right now.
The last seven utterings of Jesus on the cross, they are like stars that shine the light on the way to salvation. In this powerful introduction of this new series by Ev. John T.L. we see that these words are the confirmation of the many doctrines we hold on to. But it is also clearly the confirmation that Jesus has accomplished and is still fulfilling this ministry.
A special path that we as believers no doubt have to follow is the path of prayer. If you will visit your prayer closet often, you will always have food for your spirit. Ev. John T.L. speaks wisdom on two different trails of prayer: wrestling in prayer and communing with God.
There should be a difference between the house of a believer and the house of a nonbeliever. You should feel it in the atmosphere. To a visitor, it should be visible what is important to you and it should be felt in the spirit. Problems or obstacles in your house can be an opportunity for God to work in your life so don't be discouraged!
If Christ is in you, there should be a desire to commune with the Father. Spurgeon said: "a soul without prayer is a soul without Christ". In this message Ev. John T.L. speaks to us from Colossians 4:2 that says: 'Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful'.
One of the greatest privileges we have is prayer. It is our lifeline and it shows how alive our religion really is. There are many enemies that want to extinguish the fire of prayer, but the invisible hand of God will provide the fuel for prayer.
The Psalms encourage us to believe that God will make all things wonderfully well. In this particular Psalm, we read that praise and thanksgiving should always be to God alone. Lift up your hands and worship God eternal. He is with you and that He's going to bring you through this valley. Praise Him!
Many times, we have a difficulty to believe that God wants to heal us, though we know He can. Today John T.L. talks about the obstacles in our mind that block our healing. Thoughts that are even being preached from the pulpit and that are keeping away God's healing power.
Simon did not take Jesus in as a high guest, but that woman understood that she had nothing to justify herself. She came fully and wholly dependable on the grace which would be in Christ Jesus the Messiah. Religion and the law were harsh against her, but not Jesus! Whoever you are and however far you are, Christ is there with all His glory, light, grace, goodness and forgiveness.
This is a wonderful story of Jesus Christ and two main characters: a woman who was a known sinner and a man who did not know he was a sinner. It's especially for those who have something that is blocking your fellowship with the Lord, your pastor or (someone in) the congregation. Be encouraged by part 1 of this sermon.
The bible is very clear on what the way of the sinner will bring. But it also tells us what we will reap if we walk the narrow path of the Lord. Which path do you choose to walk on after hearing this message?
Paul's life changed course because God had a different plan and now the impact of Paul's ministry is still relevant for us today! That was the plan and purpose of God for his life. Are you ready to follow God into a bold new venture for the new year?
So many feel separated from the Father, but He has made Himself so accessible! God set His tent in the middle of mankind by sending us Emmanuel. That's exactly what we are celebrating this Christmas season.
This is a message to comfort you during the Christmas season. God is for us and for everything that is good for us, but He is against everything that is bad for us. And here's the conflict: we many times long for things that are not good for us. God wants to bring us what is good and when it's good.
There are only a few verses about Anna, but they reveal so much. They confirm that the fulfillment of the promise has come. Those that are looking and waiting for the salvation of the Lord, they are the ones that will also see it and receive Him. Today you can be the one to receive the blessings and promises of the Lord, just like Anna.
Let's reflect on the story of a brother of ours: Simeon. The Bible gives us a revelation about him that is very useful for our own life.
Can you imagine being one of those shepherds in the field? Do you embrace God's Word in your heart and find it to be as He told it to be? The shepherds beheld the Shekinah glory of the Lord and after they saw Him, they couldn't keep their mouth about it. We can also behold the Savior today, with all His glorious aspects!
God had well prepared that day that He sent His Son into the world. This message shows us Mary's response: she didn't reason with her mind, but she believed with her heart. What happens to us when we respond to His presence and promises in faith? Just like Mary, we can be a vessel, a carrier of the glory of the Lord.
The woman with the demon posessed daughter, a well known story out of Matthew 15. Why did Jesus respond this way? What is our attitude to a heaven that seems made of brass? This story is here for you and this message will encourage you.
Maybe there is some area in your life that has lost its power, just like the lame man through the roof who lost all power in his legs. There was no way for the lame man to get to Jesus, but he had friends that lowered him down through the roof. The miracle of salvation preceded the miracle of healing from disease. Stay tuned for a powerful prayer at the end of this message.
Jesus met a man on the Sabbath that lived with a deformity in his body. This shrivelled hand affected his whole life. Are you dealing with some kind of deformity in your life? Hear this sweet invitation: stretch out your problem to Jesus, like the man stretched out his shriveled hand. And stay tuned for powerful prayer at the end.
In Luke 7 we read that Jesus was followed by a large crowd of people who experienced miracles. A crowd full of life! But they met with a crowd that was full of death. There are two crowds in the world today and these crowds need to meet each other.
We are not living through our strength. We are all dependent on His sufficiency to live that victorious life. It's a continuous flow! And He gives it through the Son. So how does this strength flow to us and through us?
I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me', so many times we speak. But do we really believe it? Does the rest of our talking line up with this verse? The Word of God can be a greater reality than what we feel or see!
God has a great miracle for you! When Jesus tells us to believe for something, He doesn't just expect us to muster up the faith to believe for it, but He gives us the faith to believe for it! Let's not limit God to our own comprehension.
Micah 5:4 speaks of the majesty of our great God, the mighty King of kings that conquers all. But also of the Shepherd, Who is actively involved in feeding us. Yes, we should bow down in reverence and respect before Him but on the other hand He is that Shepherd that takes care of His sheep. God wants to set you free as the glorious King that He is, but also touch you with His kindness and gentleness as the true Shepherd.
The pressure of the world may come against the church of Jesus Christ but it is possible for the church to rise up and to walk uphill, like Samson. You will rise up as a man and woman of faith, overcoming each and every obstacle that the devil may put before you.
In this message we look at Samson as the type of the church. A lot of churches have lost the true power of God in their midst. But the church is not a dead body or human institution. It is the living body of Jesus that lives in holiness and purity and that has been baptized with power from on high
It's not the ultimate vision for the church to be walking around the millstone, moving every part but never reaching a destination never fulfilling the purpose of God. This is not why Jesus purchased you and why the yoke of the enemy was broken over your life. This was happening to Samson and what's happening to many churches today. We are called for more.
There are things we need to fight and pray against but there are also things we should run away from. Samson should have ran away from Delilah. Many Christians today are playing this game of seduction but if you don't run away from it, you're going to fall just like Samson fell. The world thinks they are free. But that's not freedom, it's a form of liberalism.
It is the plan of the enemy to put out the eyes of the church, like the Philistines gouged Samson's eyes. What it leaves is a church that is blinded, because of many different things. A church that is walking on a path that will lead nowhere and will not impact the world for the good. But we can have a divine meeting with Christ today and it can change us and put us back on track!
Evangelist John T.L Maasbach starts this powerful series about the hero Samson in the old Testament as a type of the church in the New Testament. Many Christians today are blinded. They are in a position where they are again as slaves. This message is to bring you hope. Today can be the day that God will deliver you out of that place. God wants to activate His power in you today!
Fear is a mighty weapon of the enemy, but don't let fear hold you captive! Fear must be subdued by the promises of God. Nehemiah encouraged the people to get up and fight. Your family, ministry or relationship with God is so much more valuable than the things of this world. God is on your side and it will be through His mighty hand that the wall will be rebuilt.
The enemy's strategy is to ridicule, intimidate, discourage and put great fear on you. Stay focused in rebuilding the wall just like Nehemiah and don't give your time and attention to the enemy.
If you have been cast down, you are the one that God has His eye upon to restore you and use you! God is looking for Nehemiah's today to clear out the rubble and rebuild the walls.
A message especially for those in ministry: Do you think you're not going to make it? Don't surrender to that thought, but receive the Word of the Lord. Pick up those stones again and start building again! It will take time, but the Lord will help us to complete the work and the wall will be finished just like in the story of Nehemiah.
The Bible says that the punishment of sin will be death and there is nothing we can do to get out of that, if it is not for Jesus. We could not come near to God so God came near to us in the Son, veiled in the flesh. Jesus still comes near to His creation today and He wants to come near to you dear friend!
God the Father said: "Here is My Son, listen to Him". The Son doesn't just say anything He wants to say, He is totally in line with the doctrine of the old and new testament. If we will just listen more to His words, it would bless and help us. We are co-heirs of all His promises when we are in the Son!
Maybe you've prayed in the past: "God, speak to me with an audible voice" but we couldn't stand to regularly hear that voice of the absolute God in that way as He spoke to Peter, James and John on mount Tabor. But when Jesus comes near, as a testimony in your inner man, that is what brings a real change in you.
Proverbs 11:25 says: ‘whoever refreshes others will be refreshed’. You will start seeing your strength renewed and your talents multiplied when you start using them to bless others. Just like the widow of Zarepath who gave her last bit of flour and oil, the Lord will multiply what you give.
God heard the cry of His people and used Moses to deliver Israel from Pharaoh. God knows what you are going through. He has seen what problems and burdens you are carrying. God is able to deliver!
God heard the cry of His people and used Moses to deliver Israel from Pharaoh. God knows what you are going through. He has seen what problems and burdens you are carrying. God is able to deliver!
God wants to lead us on the path He wants us to walk on. He desires to reveal Himself mightily in our difficult situations when we need our Almighty God to move on our behalf. Expect that our living and loving God will take all matters concerning our lives into His hands.
God wants to lead us on the path He wants us to walk on. He desires to reveal Himself mightily in our difficult situations when we need our Almighty God to move on our behalf. Expect that our living and loving God will take all matters concerning our lives into His hands.
Here we see that the servant of the Lord is angry at Him for having love and compassion for the city of Nineveh. God asked Jonah if it is right of him to be so angry, God is trying to learn Jonah His real nature were love and compassion stands central. Don't be as Jonah, angry but be thankful for what He does.
The Lord can speak in many ways, in this story He spoke through Jonah. In our days He speaks through His ministers. In this story the king accepted Jonah's word as from the Lord do you still do this when you hear from God's servant today. What is the first reaction when the word of the Lord comes to you, who is sitting on the throne of your heart?
Who knows what change God can bring for you when you call upon Him. Just like the King of Nineveh did and God answered.
The book of Jonah gives hope for our days. God is able to do the same in our days as He did in the days of Jonah. God spoke to Jonah to go to Nineveh but at first, he didn’t listen and went his own way. This is what some of us try to do in some situations. Like him, we try to run away from our purpose. But God is always there.
This is the last Joseph we are going to be talking about. He had a call on his heart to sell his land so the earnings could be used for the gospel. What we see is that he was a giver, let us all be givers for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Joseph, a disciple of Jesus, went to Pilate to ask the body of Jesus Christ. He didn't walk away but gave his own prepared tomb to Jesus. What are you willing to give for the body of Christ?
Joseph, who became the husband of Mary the mother of Jesus got the news that Mary was pregnant with a child which was not his. He could not believe what was happening and wanted to do the right thing towards Mary. But God spoke and made Joseph an instrument to God's purpose.
Joseph was sent to preserve life. He needed to walk a difficult road before he could reach his destiny. Even though he couldn't explain the reason why. God used his road to benefit and preserve many.
Rahab hid the two spies of Israel in her house, while the soldiers of Jericho were looking for them. In her heart, she was convinced that she was doing the right thing. She chooses to be on God's side instead of the people. It is better to have God on your side and the whole world against you. Listen to this podcast and hear how her faith was a saving faith and how she placed her trust in the promise to be saved.
Rahab's mind was activated when she heard what God did in the past. This helped her to know what to do in her days. She puts her faith into action, faith without action is a dead faith. It is important to have faith that brings us into action.
A special word of encouragement about faith. Let this message lift your faith and that you may grow closer to our heavenly Father.
