Marion said: »Pole Dance is expressed by the movement and the expression of a body in motion. Artistic or Fitness, the difference is just on the way to focuse on different aspects (artistry or technic). But at this end , it is always about the same thing… “Passion”.«
Marion’s pole style is a mix of dance, contortion and emotion.
@michellemynx is a pioneer of modern pole dancing and started pole dancing before the turn of the century! Since then she has performed in hundreds of shows, both as half of the critically acclaimed pole duo Gravity Plays Favorites and as a solo artist.
With a strong desire to showcase and celebrate the wonderful diversity among female pole performers, as well as her commitment to victims and survivors of sexual assault, she began producing the Mynx Pole Dance Extravaganza in 2008. Since then, thousands of dollars have been raised for the Sexual Assault Victims Care Unit of Call for Help, Inc. and the event has become the longest-running pole dance show and benefit in the world.
As a teacher of this beloved art form, she opened the Mynx Academy of Pole Dance in January 2010 in St. Louis, Mo. The Mynx Academy has become a haven for all people who want to learn to love and accept themselves and others for who they are through the glorious art form of pole dancing.
