Livingston because some of the greatest life lessons I learned happened in football huddles. Those huddles were a time to come together to ..strategize and execute . What if I could turn those lessons into a show.. a place where people could come to do the same.. share ..learn ..trust..would if the show could spark creativity .. support a crazy trick play.. a place where we all could grow and score regardless if their HUDDLE was on a court, field or staff meeting .. that is what the huddle is about.. each week I will bring you guest that will serve as our Team Captain as they lead us through the play calling that got them to where they are today.. now they aren’t just going to share the touchdowns … we cant have victories without defeat.. they are going to share it ALL.. the hope is that you are entertained and find value in the guest stories. Livingston and Lois Cook had a conversation with Rohan Brown, the founder of Barley, a startup company. Monica and Lois welcomed Rohan and expressed how excited they were to have him in the room with them. They discussed how they met at a Google for Startups event in Durham, North Carolina and how they both share an interest in athletics. Monica asked Rohan how he was feeling and welcomed him to the Huddle. Rohan shared details about his company, Barley, and the bright future he sees for it. They discussed the importance of upgrading their businesses and how Rohan's company is the future. They concluded the conversation with a discussion about their shared love for athletics. By collecting receipts of alcohol purchases, Barley is able to provide members with points that can be redeemed for VIP tickets, access to festivals, and other experiential rewards. Lois Cook is amazed by the concept and asks how easy it is to upload the receipts - to which Rohan explains that users just have to take a picture and put it in the app. This app helps alcohol brands gain insight into who their most valuable customers are and gives them a streamlined way to engage with them. After his basketball days at La Salle University were over, Rohan had the opportunity to play professionally overseas but instead decided to stay in the tech space. This gave him the idea that bar owners and alcohol brands didn't know who their most valuable customers were and Farley was created to solve this problem. Austin, Texas, but starting from different locations and kind of going in different cities or stopping at different cities along the way.
