Download the Free Guide "The Explorer's guide to creating content without being an expert"

Hey Adventurers,

In this solo episode of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, I dive deep into one of the biggest lies holding creators back: the belief that you need to be an expert before you can start creating content.

This is the trap I fell into for years. From sketching Dragon Ball Z characters as a teenager, to writing rap lyrics in secret, to hiding behind photography while envying YouTubers like Casey Neistat — I constantly told myself: “I’m not good enough to share.”

But here’s the truth: your story matters even when you’re not an expert. In fact, being an explorer is often more powerful than being an “authority.”

In this episode, I share:

  • Why waiting for perfection kills your creative growth.
  • How I went from terrified of hitting “go live” to building a podcast and brand.
  • The 4 mindset shifts that will free you from the “expert trap.”
  • 3 easy content formats you can start today (no fancy gear or credentials needed).
  • Why your story — raw, imperfect, and real — is your most magnetic asset.

✨ Favorite Quote:

“Most people don’t care about your story. And the ones who do? They’re exactly the people you want to attract.”

💡 What You’ll Learn:

  • Why being an explorer beats being an expert when starting out.
  • How to share authentically without fear of judgment.
  • The 70% rule that will help you publish consistently without perfectionism.
  • Simple ways to turn your phone into a storytelling machine.
  • How to create content that connects deeply with the right audience.

🔥 This Episode Is For You If:

  • You’ve been waiting to “know enough” before posting.
  • You feel paralyzed by perfectionism or fear of being seen.
  • You want to build a personal brand rooted in authenticity, not pressure.
  • You’re ready to stop ghosting your creativity and finally hit publish.

If you’re a multi-passionate creator or adventurer who’s been holding back your voice, let’s talk. I’m opening spots for my new 1:1 coaching program, where we’ll co-create a magnetic personal brand rooted in your truth, not trends. DM me “START” on Instagram to begin.

Hey Adventurers,

In this soul-stirring episode of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, I sit down with Steph Fonteyn, British-Swiss artist, two-time TEDx speaker, and creator of Collaborative Art, a team-building experience that unites people through creativity and shared vision.

Steph is also writing her upcoming book, Unapologetically You, a guide to navigating transformation with curiosity, compassion, and courage.

This conversation is a masterclass in self-expression, aligned action, and finding the gold in your own story. Steph doesn’t just paint, she builds intersections: between art and HR, play and performance, structure and flow. And in doing so, she invites us to stop forcing life…and start following joy.

We dive deep into:

  • Down the Rabbit Hole: What it really feels like to question “Is this it?” and why there’s no final “other side,” only ongoing discovery.
  • Forced vs. Aligned Action: How to tell the difference (and why your results change when your soul and schedule finally dance together).
  • From Hobby to Business: The birth of Collaborative Art and how creative process becomes a team’s mirror for trust, values, and performance.
  • Intersections Thinking: A practical way to connect your many passions and turn them into a unique, valuable path.
  • Story as Strategy: How to find your “My Story” narrative and deliver it so people actually remember.

✨ Favorite Quotes

“When you pause long enough to listen, you can feel the whisper: ‘Is this it?’ That’s not failure, it’s an invitation.”“Get your heart and the ‘have-to’s’ to collaborate. That’s the sweet spot.”

💡 What You’ll Learn

  • How to shift from performance-based identity to values-led creation.
  • A simple timeline journaling exercise to uncover your story (even if you’re multi-passionate).
  • How to spot when you’re forcing momentum vs. moving with alignment.
  • Why co-creating visuals helps teams internalize values (instead of just memorizing them).
  • A playful method to make your talks unforgettable: merge unlikely worlds to create sticky metaphors.

🔥 This Episode Is For You If…

  • You’ve done “everything right” and still feel a quiet emptiness.
  • You’re a creator, entrepreneur, or leader craving authenticity over approval.
  • You want a practical path to tell your story online without shame or perfectionism.
  • You’re ready to turn your mix of passions into a coherent, magnetic identity.

Hey Adventurers,

In this episode of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, I sit down with Martin Perrier professional ultra-runner, 2024 & 2025 Tor des Géants podium finisher (3rd & 2nd place over 330 km / 24,000 m+), author of You Have My Word (Je m’y engage), and coach/speaker on the power of personal commitment.

Martin is half-hyperactive, half-“world-class couch lover” (his words) which makes his take on discipline, willpower, and doing hard things refreshingly honest. We unpack how he transformed from skipping workouts to running for days, and how the same engine that gets him through 100-hour races can change any life habit.

We dive deep into:

  • Intention vs Commitment: Why “wanting to” isn’t enough and Martin’s Commitment Equation
  • High-achiever traps: When “more grind” is avoidance and why some athletes must commit to rest.
  • Timeframes that stick: 30-day experiments, monthly reviews, and how to adjust without quitting.
  • Excuses, decoded: The “Grand Slam of excuse" and how to neutralize each.
  • Confidence, redefined: Not a prerequisite, a consequence of action (and how to under-promise / over-deliver).
  • Ultra mindset: Preparing for things to go wrong, troubleshooting on the move, and choosing when to stop (without self-betrayal).

✨ Favorite Quote : “I don’t have a choice — because it’s my choice.”

💡 What You’ll Learn

  • How to upgrade a New Year’s intention into a real commitment that survives bad days.
  • A simple way to set time-boxed experiments and review/adjust without losing momentum.
  • How to spot the optimism bias and set targets you can actually beat.
  • Why competing commitments (health, family, training, craft) must be made explicit to align your life.
  • The difference between carrots & sticks vs. internal commitment and why the latter lasts.
  • A practical script to ask a commitment partner for honest accountability.

🔥 This Episode Is For You If…

  • You’re a creator, athlete, or entrepreneur who keeps “intending” to post/train/ship and wants it to finally happen.
  • You’ve said “I don’t have time” lately and suspect it’s really a priority and excuses problem.
  • You chase goals hard but struggle to rest without guilt.
  • You want a mindset that treats life as an adventure.

Shannon opens up about the dark side of elite performance, a world where discipline turns into self-destruction, hunger is confused with success, and being "the best" can feel like being the most invisible.

Together, we dive deep into:

  • The moment she realized winning wasn’t worth the inner collapse.

Hey Adventurers,

In this solo episode of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, I take you inside one of the most raw, revealing, and unexpectedly adventurous experiences I’ve ever had: a 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreat. No phone. No talking. No reading or writing. Just ten hours of daily meditation and complete stillness.

It turned out to be one of the most physically intense challenges of my life.

Inside this episode, I open up about:

  • The weird sensations I felt after giving away my phone—and how deep my addiction really was.
  • The surprising physical pain and endurance it took to sit still for 10 hours a day.
  • The moment I cried at the last meditation.
  • The mindset shift that comes from truly becoming an observer of your thoughts, pain, and sensations.
  • The powerful principle of “Adhitthana” (strong determination), and how it’s shaped the way I now approach content creation, coaching, and personal growth.

This episode is for you if:
You feel overstimulated, disconnected from yourself, or overwhelmed by noise. You crave a deeper connection to your intuition, your body, and the quiet wisdom that only stillness can unlock. Or you’re simply curious what it actually feels like to meditate in silence for 10 days straight.

🔍 Episode Breakdown:

In this episode, I’m sharing what really happened behind the silence—from physical pain to emotional breakthroughs, including:

[00:03:00] Letting go of my phone—and the identity crisis that followed
[00:04:45] Why silence wasn’t the hardest part—the physical battle with stillness
[00:07:35] How Vipassana trains you to observe pain, not escape it
[00:14:10] The emotional moment that cracked my heart wide open
[00:20:00] Why strong determination (Adhitthana) isn’t about force—it’s about full commitment
[00:24:00] The biggest lessons I’m carrying with me into life, coaching, and creation

💬 Favorite Quote:

“You learn to see reality as it is—not as you wish it to be.”

💡 What I Learned:

  • Most of us are more addicted to noise and distraction than we realize.
  • Stillness isn’t easy—it’s a courageous confrontation with the self.
  • You don’t overcome pain by avoiding it. You dissolve it by witnessing it.
  • Growth doesn’t happen from chasing highs—it happens through non-reaction.
  • Strong determination isn’t a hustle mindset—it’s about staying through the discomfort to experience transformation.

Hey Adventurers!

In this episode of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, we’re diving into one of the biggest traps in personal growth: consuming endless self-improvement content without taking action.

I’ve read over 60 personal development books, listened to countless podcasts, and absorbed tons of motivational content… but for years, nothing actually changed. Why? Because knowing something and living it are two different things.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re growing intellectually but still stuck in the same place, this episode is for you.

Join me as I share:

Why reading personal development books gives you a false sense of progress
How overconsumption of self-improvement content builds ego instead of results
The difference between knowing and embodying personal growth
Why adventure and action are the real keys to transformation
How I broke free from the “learning loop” and started living my growth

This episode is for you if you’re ready to stop just thinking about change and start taking action. Let’s break free from overconsumption and turn knowledge into real transformation!

Episode Breakdown:

[00:01:22] The illusion of growth: Why knowledge alone won’t change your life
[00:03:10] My personal journey: How I fell into the self-improvement trap
[00:06:38] The wake-up call: When I realized I wasn’t applying what I learned
[00:09:01] How adventure helped me step out of overthinking and into action
[00:13:11] The biggest mistake people make with personal development
[00:14:32] How to balance introspection with real-world action
[00:16:00] Why personal development is about doing, not just learning
[00:21:12] The only way to truly grow: Stop reading & start experiencing

Favorite Quote:

"Reading the map doesn’t mean you’ve climbed the mountain. You have to take the journey yourself."

Key Takeaways:

🔹 More knowledge ≠ real transformation. Overconsumption keeps you stuck.
🔹 You don’t need another book—you need to start living the lessons.
🔹 Adventure is the balance of introspection and action. Too much of one without the other leads to frustration.

🚀 Ready to start applying what you know? If you’re tired of just consuming content and want to take action toward an aligned, adventure-filled life, DM me "Action" on Instagram or LinkedIn, and I’ll send you my top strategies for turning knowledge into results.

🎧 Subscribe & Review

If this episode resonated with you, subscribe to The Adventure Reignition Podcast and leave a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify—it helps us reach more adventurers like you!

Final Thought:

Most people stay stuck not because they lack knowledge, but because they don’t act on it. Instead of consuming more, let’s start applying what we already know.

Your next adventure starts not in a book, but in your actions.

Hey Adventurers!

In this episode of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, I’m sharing my personal journey of quitting alcohol—from getting wasted every weekend in my 20s to slowly reducing my consumption and finally making the decision to stop drinking in 2024.

Alcohol is so deeply ingrained in our social culture that most of us never even question it. But what happens when you do? If you’ve ever wondered about your relationship with alcohol, felt drained by hangovers, or wanted to make a shift but didn’t know where to start, this episode is for you.

Why I started drinking and how it became a routine I never questioned
The shift that made me rethink alcohol's impact on my health, recovery, and energy
How training for a marathon became the perfect excuse to quit—and what happened next
The hardest part about quitting (hint: it’s not the alcohol itself, but the social pressure)
How I built a new identity as someone who doesn’t drink—without feeling like I’m missing out

This episode is for you if you’ve ever felt curious about quitting, reducing, or simply questioning alcohol’s role in your life. Let’s talk about making choices that align with who we truly are!

[00:26:34] The realization: Alcohol is no longer part of my identity, and I don’t miss it
[00:30:00] Why this is not about drink-shaming—it's about conscious choice

Favorite Quote:

"Drinking is so normalized that most of us never question it. But when you do, you might realize you don’t need it as much as you thought."

Key Takeaways:

🔹 Alcohol is a deeply ingrained social norm—but that doesn’t mean you have to drink.
🔹 The biggest challenge isn’t quitting—it’s navigating social pressure.
🔹 You don’t have to make a lifelong decision today. Start by experimenting and seeing how you feel.

🚀 Curious about making a change? Try going alcohol-free for a month and see how you feel!

Most people set rigid goals in January, only to abandon them by February. But what if the problem isn’t you—it’s the way goals are set?

If you’ve ever struggled with staying consistent, felt trapped by expectations, or lost motivation after the initial excitement wore off, this episode is for you.

Join me as I share:

Why most resolutions fail and the hidden reason you lose motivation.
The Journey of Intention—a flexible, adventure-driven approach to goal setting.
Why rigid goals can disconnect you from your true desires (and what to do instead).
The 5-step framework to create sustainable goals that actually align with your passions.
How my biggest adventure taught me to shift from obsession over results to loving the process.

This episode is for you if you’re tired of starting strong and falling off track—and want a new way to set goals that stick. Let’s ditch the resolutions and create a year filled with meaningful, aligned action!

Episode Breakdown:

[00:01:22] Why 95% of resolutions fail by mid-February.
[00:03:10] The gym effect: Why motivation fades so fast.
[00:06:38] The danger of setting rigid, outcome-driven goals.
[00:09:01] My personal adventure story: How I almost ruined my dream by focusing on the goal instead of the journey.

Hey there,

In this unscripted episode of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, I’m diving into a concept that’s been on my mind: Would you rather live a large but short life or a long but narrow one?

This episode was sparked by reflections during a recent run and the milestone of turning 35. I’ll take you on a journey through the pivotal moments that shaped my perspective on living adventurously and embracing life fully—moments that taught me the value of risk, discomfort, and living authentically.

I dive deep into:

  • The three main reasons why most people settle for a narrow life—and how to break free.
  • Personal stories of transformation, like quitting my job to travel the world, skydiving, and biking across Switzerland.

Hey there,

In this solo episode of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, I’m taking you behind the scenes of one of the biggest decisions I’ve made this year in 2024—leaving what many would call a “dream job” to follow my gut and pursue my passions as a content creator and purpose coach.

I dive deep into:

  • The burnout that made me hit pause and re-evaluate everything.
  • How slowing down helped me reconnect with my intuition and realign with my core values.
  • The practical steps I took to plan this bold move responsibly—financially and emotionally.
  • What it really means to live adventurously and why it’s worth taking risks for a life that excites you.

This episode is for anyone who’s feeling stuck or misaligned in their career or life and needs a reminder that bold moves are possible when you listen to your intuition, get clear on your values, and take action toward what truly lights you up.

Episode Breakdown:
In this episode, I’m sharing my personal journey of transitioning out of a corporate content creation role to dive fully into my passions. I talk about:

  • Why I Left: The burnout that signaled it was time for a change and the realization that I wasn’t creating in alignment with my values.
  • The Turning Point: Two weeks of slowing down and reflecting helped me reconnect with my intuition and reignite my sense of purpose.
  • Planning the Leap: I didn’t just wake up one day and quit. I planned it carefully—sorting out my finances and doing the introspective work I now teach in my coaching program.
  • Living Adventurously: How I applied the lessons I’ve learned from my past adventures—like cycling across Switzerland or traveling the world—to this career shift.

Key Moments:

  • [00:01:21] My story: why I decided to leave a job I loved.
  • [00:06:58] The warning signs of burnout and how they showed up for me.

  • [00:20:04] The financial and mindset prep that made this move possible.

Favorite Quote:

What I Learned:

  • Burnout isn’t just about working too hard—it’s about working out of alignment.
  • Your gut instinct is one of your most powerful tools, but you can’t hear it if your life is too noisy.
  • Bold moves aren’t impulsive—they’re intentional and rooted in clarity about what matters most.

Welcome back to the Adventure Reignition Podcast! After taking a break in 2023, I reflect on the identity crisis and creative burnout experienced in the past. The episode delves into the decision to step away from the coaching and personal development world, realizing the toxicity it brought me (while still believing in the good it can bring while consumed mindfully). In this episode I share personal growth experiences through adventure, emphasizing the importance of self-exploration.

The episode recounts a transformative journey in 2023, involving a shift in career, a biking adventure across Switzerland, and a renewed focus on creativity. I share the challenges faced in a toxic work environment at the beggining of the year 2023 and the supportive role of my girlfriend in reigniting my passion for adventure.

Looking ahead to 2024, the podcast aims to integrate my various passions into content creation, focusing on sustainability and creativity. Goals include incorporating short-form videos on Instagram, conducting interviews with individuals in the adventure industry, and embracing content creation as a lifestyle.

I am quite excited the upcoming podcast and creative journey. The overarching theme for 2024 is to focus on the journey itself, rather than setting rigid goals.

Happy to be back!

2022 is coming to an end, and I wanted to quickly look back at the year while projecting how I want to move on to 2023.

Before being influenced by the personal development space, I followed my intuition more, going on crazy adventures to explore who I was. That was my way of growing and evolving. It wasn't something I was supposed to do daily to be the best version of myself. It was more natural and effortless, exactly like nature itself does.

That is why I discuss in this last episode of 2022 what I learned for myself and the difference between goal setting and following my intuition for 2023.

In the meantime, I appreciate your support and don't forget to subscribe and leave a review on Apple Podcast or Spotify to move forward with Adventure's message.

Happy New Year!

For this special episode to celebrate one year of The Adventure Reignition Podcast, I decided to record where I feel most at home: in the middle of nature.

There is no better episode than this one to remind me and tell you about my relationship with podcasting and how it impacted my life.

Slowly but surely, it became evident for me to start a podcast. The audio format gathers everything, making it simple for me to learn and express myself.

I will also cover the importance of retreating in nature to slow down and explore yourself. I have made a mistake in the past. Follow your dream, they say. But how do you honestly go after YOUR dream and not the one that seems appealing to others?

That is why I will also speak about the importance of exploring yourself first to pursue a dream that is truly yours.

In the meantime, thank you so much for your support, and don't forget to subscribe and leave a review on Apple Podcast or Spotify to move forward with Adventure's message.

I was cycling in the mountains in the middle of the woods, surrounded by trees and silence, when I decided to stop and record this episode of the podcast spontaneously.

It is undoubtedly the most open-hearted podcast I have ever done, speaking about my thoughts on personal development, finding your happy place, and the doubts I am having now, not knowing what is coming next for me.

Before being influenced by the personal development space, I followed my intuition more, going on crazy adventures to explore who I was. That was my way of growing and evolving. It wasn't something I was supposed to do daily to be the best version of myself. It was more natural and effortless, exactly like nature itself does.

That is why I wanted to share with an open heart what I am experiencing now, reconnecting to my truth of Adventure & nature. A lot of uncertainty, but the personal exploration adventure is probably one of the most rewarding ones that we can start and continue throughout our lives.

In the meantime, I appreciate your support, and don't forget to subscribe and leave a review on Apple Podcast or Spotify to move forward with Adventure's message.

Welcome back to the Adventure Reignition Podcast for a bit of celebration time.

Now that I reached my first goal, I am super proud of myself, and I want to thank anybody who listened to just a part of my podcast. It means a lot to me.

So in today's episodes, you will first learn how I discovered podcasts in the first place.

Helen Keller said that “Life is Either a daring Adventure or Nothing At All.” Mine started with a tragic experience to overcome. I just turned 18 when my dad tried to kill himself for the first time, out of the blue.

After two more suicidal attempts, he got released from his pain one year and a half later, leaving our family broken.

I lost all sense of identity, questioning everything around me while diving into a depression state. I reached a point where I had to decide to keep going down the spiral of depression or start a journey to rebuild myself.

I ended up looking for things to give me hope when I remembered a conversation I had with a friend when we were in High School. We were both dreaming of going live a new experience abroad and live our American dream.

It immediately reconnected me to this sense of purpose and hope to go after my first big adventure.

Five years later, I fully embraced adventure by traveling the world alone for one year visiting 17 countries.
