🔥You’re only use to the stones that tried to kill you so it turned you cold
🔥But God let you carry the stone to increase your confidence in Christ

Joshua 2:1-16
Rahab
1️⃣ She lied it made the enemy leave
2️⃣She believed it was Israel’s land
3️⃣She spared the spies lives =saved her own family’s lives
‼️This seems antithetical to our theology and idea of morality … church taught you were worth more to God than most people …
❓She lied 🤥 Why did God love her ?
❓She was prostitute why did God praise her?
- Rahab was a triple outcast : Foreigner, Female, possibly forced into an unfavorable life (prostitution) but she had unfailing FAITH
- Rahab Lied to men
was loved by God
Just to end up in the lineage of Jesus
- Some people are mad at you bc👉🏽they can’t categorize you👉🏽God still chose you 👉🏽after all you been through👉🏽and their still asking WHY you?
**Rahab took territory or her life, by helping them take the territory of the land , and ended up in Jesus’ lineage
In this season be careful who you put your mouth on. Don’t let social media lure you into a false sense of security!
**From mistress of men to ancestress to the Savior
PRINCIPLES that took Place:

👉🏽God saved her because of her selflessness
*Wherever you find yourself God is asking for your faith
*He’s giving you an opportunity to prove this isn’t even the real you

*Maybe circumstances have trapped you or provided an excuse for you

Joshua 2:17-21
Published in 1850, Nathaniel Hawthorne's "The Scarlet Letter" Protagonist she is imprisoned, convicted of the crime of adultery, and sentenced to be forced to wear a prominent scarlet letter 'A' for the rest of her life. the scarlet letter itself, the red 'A'.strong themes of sin and guilt, and it is a societal critique.
Rahab wore a Scarlett reputation as “harlot”
But What We Also Know:
🧣Made A Binding agreement
🧣Responsible for Bringing in her family
🧣Breaking it would result in Bleeding
🔥Scarlett rope was red like blood
👉🏽represented salvation.
👉🏽Precursor to Jesus saving our souls
👉🏽Preview of when the blood was posted over the doors to save the first borns

⭐️When God sees us crying out to him in the dark he rewards us in the light

⭐️God has a way for paying you back for your pain
Vs 10 Moses: I drew him out of water = Moses drew the children of Israel out of the water ⭐️The very thing you were delivered out of, you know can draw others out of
He was delivered out of the water and he turned around and delivered OUT of the water
👉🏽He was delivered/ birthed though his mother’s water
👉🏽Pharaohs daughter delivered him from the Nile River water
👉🏽He delivered the children of Israel from the Red Sea’s waters
🌟All your life it seems you’ve been drowning in darkness but God is delivering you bc YOU are the next deliverer ,
⭐️The same things you’ve been delivered from , God will use you to deliver others

Pushing Through Praise
Series: Choose Your Weapon
makes the enemy flee.
Praise They become confused as to why we are praising God when everything around us is origin wrong
GIVES US DIRECT ACCESS TO GOD:
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise” (Psalm 100:4).
ITS WHERE WE MEET GOD/WHERE HE LIVES
Psalm 22:3, he says God inhabits the praises of His people.
live in or occupy (a place or environment).
Helps to Get rid of grief:
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
** Not just grief of deep sorrow with death death which needs proper care with grief counseling as well.
But grief : trouble or annoyance. of a situation… Boss grieved you. Loved one grieved you
What are the prerequisites of this weapon?
Let everything that have breathe praise the Lord
