For the sixth episode of the Inspire Me Podcast, Amelie interviews British freestyle skier Kirsty Muir. Kirsty grew up skiing with her family from a young age. She went to her local dry ski slope in Scotland where she partook in a ski group at the end of the sessions they would do freestyle skiing which Kirsty really enjoyed. Now Kirsty has gone on to represent Team GB in two finals on her debut at the Winter Olympics earlier this year in Beijing at the age of 18! As well as coming second in the Winter Youth Olympics and many people say that she has a very bright career ahead of her. In our chat we discussed what it was like being in the final of the Winter Olympics and how she managed to cope with studying for her exams and training and plenty more!
For the fifth episode of The Inspire Me Podcast, Amelie interviews former GB rower, Zoë Lee. Zoë grew up playing lots of sport and she always wanted to be a sports star and go to the Olympics but she never thought it would become her reality! When Zoë arrived at Oxford she set her sights on trialing for the netball team and she achieved her goal of getting a blue. During her second year at Oxford she decided to start rowing and at the end of the year Zoë was scouted for the Oxford development team. Not long after she was picked for the GB rowing team and made her debut at the 2013 World Cup in Sydney. Three years later Zoe and her crew won a silver at the Olympics in Rio in 2016. For the forth episode of The Inspire Me Podcast, Amelie interviews the sensational broadcaster, Clare Balding. In Clare's earlier years she was a leading amateur jockey, and when she left University she went straight into radio and soon after became the face of BBC Horse Racing output in 1998. Since then Clare has worked at many different sports fixtures including Wimbledon, Six Olympic Games, Five Paralympic Games and Six Winter Olympics and the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Clare has also had her own show which included familiar faces in sport such as Lewis Hamilton, Charlotte Dujardin, Tom Daley, Johanna Konta and José Mourinho. Clare is a successful author and has written plenty of books as well as five children's novels. Her latest book 'Fall off, Get Back On, Keep Going' is incredibly inspirational as it sets out how to be at the top of your game and it also helps children to embrace their mistakes and move on! For the third episode of The Inspire Me Podcast, Amelie interviews rugby legend, Richard Hill. Richard played for England for 11 years and he also went on three British Lions tours from 1997-2005. Under Sir Clive Woodward he was the only player never to get dropped as he was a huge part of securing England's victory over Australia in the 2003 World Cup Final. He was also part of the successful Lions tour to South Africa in 1997 and in 2001 the Lions won the first test against Australia but then in the second test Richard was controversially taken out on the pitch which many people felt was the deciding factor to the Lions defeat against Australia. Currently Richard is the England Rugby Manager but in our conversation we will be focusing on his playing career as he was described by All Blacks legend Zinzan Brooke as the best player ever at a talk at my school! In our chat we discussed what it was like for Richard to play in a World Cup Final, what motivated him to train in bad weather conditions and also what it was like to be picked for England for the first time and plenty more!

Alfie has released many singles including Red Lights which has reached over one million streams on Spotify. He has also performed at Latitude in 2019 as well as opening for the Brit nominee Tom Grennan.
