colour is one of the special things that makes life beautiful and bearable. imagine if everything, every entity in the world comes with a default "grey" pigment, hmmm.. how boring would that be?

survival remains the driving force of our existence as humans. To live we need to survive the daily obstacles that is being kept in our way and to survive there are certain rules and these rules must be followed to the letter.

this song "i believe i can fly" by R.kelly talks about believeing in yourself which is the first point of surviving anything.

to survive any circumstance you need to first believe that you can, and you will seen it happening right before your eyes.

culture is one of the factors that makes people of the world stand out. the world is full of divers wonderful culture one of which is the "Africa culture".

and in this culture is found so many aspects of which music is a rich one

i have carefully searched for an indeginous africa song that preaches about the values of been an african.

so here is a song from an awesome female artise from the 90's "Christy Essien" titled "seun rere" (do good)

"seun rere" is a song that teaches about an important value we posses as peoople, thats of "doing good" wherever we find ourseves.

in africa, it is believed that a child that behaves good is of the Father, but the bad one was trained by the mother.

wherever we find ourselves in the world let us bear in mind that good deeps are like steps of a ladder which can take us to great heights

these are great men and philiosophers that have tasted both sides of life and know which is best.

i trust you have been awesome!!

im here again with another cover from one of my all time favourite musician "Sam Smith".

i love this singer because of how much is voice soothes my soul ..well if you can relate.

so this particular singer is one of the few that passively trained and made me better as using my "head voice" because of his pitch. whenever i hear his song it motivates me to sing using my head voice a over time has trained my head voice into better projection.

im really excited doing the cover of this song "stay with me" because its an evaluation for me of the level i am vocally.

i did this song in a karaoke form using the instrumental as i sing along.

HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK #97 - SOMEONE LIKE YOU "ADELE" COVER BY // @iyedrumz

I've known this song since when i was younger and even though i didnt quite get it i always tried my best to play the notes on piano while i sing along even during my Graduation i rendered this same song as my "special presentation" before signing out from Highschool

when i saw the theme for week #97 "LOST" this same song immediately came to my heart and then i realised that ive never really thought about the song on a deeper level. ive only always enjoyed the sweet melody.

now i see that the "Hive Open Mic" not only gives us the opportunity to showcase out musical talents and contents, it also helps us to understand that there is more to a song than just the sweet melody and perfect beat. if observed closely every song has a story and a meaning.

ABOUT THE SONG

"someone like you" by Adele is a song that tells a short story about "loosing ones lover".

the character lost her lover and realised they can't be together anymore eventhough she wish they could be back again, she misses the good times they had together. but he's moved on and started a new life.

a saying goes "we do not know what we have until its lost "
