We break the generational cycle of pain by shining lights on the thoughts that created it. We prepare the soil and plant new thoughts by aligning ourselves with the Truths within us to harvest Spiritual fruit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22). We encourage, nourish, and help children harvest these life-sustaining fruits. Then we create and sustain a legacy of freedom, hope, healing, helping future generations to fulfill their divine purpose.
It's easy to think at times that caring for a child may distract us from our purpose. Parenting responsibilities may seem to interfere with the work we want to do, and we don't realize that our children are here to help us fulfill our purpose (e.g., reminders of patience, discernment, replanting virtuous seeds, etc.), and along the way, we help them do the same.

In my Heal from the Inside Out Series #9, I discuss my thoughts about fear and how you can dismantle this emotion and see it for what it is. You have the right to remember who you are and experience the abundant life (in all areas) that you are here to do.
I continue to work through potentially fearful moments and help my children do the same. Both have experienced fear, and it was great seeing them transcend the moment.
I envision millions owning, nourishing, and expressingtheir divine purpose and spiritual fruits (Galatians 5:22-23). People realize their bodies are the vehiclesfor their earthly mission and commit to achieving and maintaining optimal health. In addition, millions of peopleheal from their wounds, breaking the generational cycle of pain with a generational Love cycle.

Personal Responsibility is accountability for one's actions, emotions, feelings, and thoughts. It is the foundation we stand firmly on when blame tempts us to align with it. We know that within us is the ability to master our minds and control our actions. Personal Responsibility doesn't seek to blame others; instead, we turn to our experiences and ask, "What must I learn from this moment in my life to continue to grow." Personal Responsibility sees experiences and opportunities for growth and true expression instead of problems. Personal Responsibility is the gateway to self-actualization. It is the path of true freedom and enlightenment.

If we are truly our thoughts, what is the use of uncontrolled, consistent anger? Anger often leads to unhealthy events within ourselves and the world. We don't have to be angry human beings. We can align with the divine spirit of who we are. The quieter we become, the more we feel and see that which does not belong.

In this episode, I share my story about a planted seed that influenced my health. When I realized that I didn't need to struggle with a certain aspect of my health, my life changed for the better and so now I am helping my children to address health in a life-sustaining way. I share questions you can ask yourself to help break the generational cycle of pain of how we think about disease and illness.

Millions of people struggle with achieving and maintaining optimal weight. As caregivers and parents, we can encourage our children to listen to their bodies to help them consume the right balance, moderation, and variety of foods. And as we teach our children about healthy nutrition, we reinforce the concepts within ourselves.
Even when you think about the principle Hara hachi bu (residents of Okinawa, Japan, 80/20 eating rule and living healthy, long lives), the underlying principle is listening to our bodies.

Another powerful thing we can do for ourselves and those we care for is encourage them to be their best friend. We accept and love ourselves first, even through our life experiences, knowing that we deserve to care for ourselves no matter what.
In other words, being your best friend is critical to self-care and breaking the generational cycle of pain.

In Healing from the Inside Out Series #5: Trust Yourself, I share how trust is critical in overcoming darkness. The more we build our trust in ourselves, the more we can help future generations do the same. When we trust ourselves, we speak up for ourselves and others. We see different paths instead of feeling stuck. We increase our chances of doing the right thing at the right time and often avoid more severe consequences.

When we remove guilt from our inner garden, our Healing from the Inside Out Series #4: Removing Guilt Weeds, I discuss guilt and how we must assess our inner garden for this often debilitating and life-draining state. In The Seeds We Plant Series #33: Forgiveness, I share some personal experiences with putting my experiences in a healthy perspective and helping my children do the same. I discuss the importance of introspection as a necessary action in letting go.
Shame is another powerful emotion that lets you know you have veered off the path of your truth. Like fear, it can cloud your vision if you allow it to grow inside you. You have the power to release shame and prevent its nutrition-robbing abilities. It may look like it belongs to you, but it doesn't. See shame for what it is and refuse to allow it to grow inside of you.
doesn't It may look like it belongs to you, but it doesn’t. See shame for what it is and refuse to allow it to grow inside of you. Anything that doesn't belong to you always rises to the top — your mind. Through your mind, we have the power to remove this weed shame, which will enable your spiritual fruit to grow.
Your mind (inner garden) will help you identify shame, and as you sit quietly with yourself, you can remove the roots and growth inside of you. In its place, you can replant the spiritual fruit of peace by using affirmations and principles to ground yourself.
Regarding projected pain, it is better to give back than receive. When you experience anger, jealousy, shame, guilt, and the like, or when your emotions and feelings go to another level (e.g., blaming, badgering yourself and others in thoughts and words, and unwelcome or unhealthy physical contact), you continually grow the seeds inside you.
We can return angry, hateful, divisive, and demoralizing actions and words to their rightful owner before they take root and encourage our children to do the same.
Thanks for listening! Please share with anyone you feel would benefit from it.
Our perspective about a life event often shows us our underlying beliefs about ourselves, others, and life. As students of life, we can look at our experience with an awakening. Every life event serves a divine purpose. Each experience is an opportunity to replant the spiritual seeds (kindness, joy, love, and the like) inside us instead of allowing weeds (harmful/unhealthy thoughts) to rob us of an abundant life. In episode #2 of Healing from the Inside Out, I share my thoughts about anger, a powerful emotion.

Fuel is the mental nourishment (self-talk), rest, activities, and who and what we believe in that will affect how we respond to events and ultimately teach our children. Providing the right type of nourishment is essential to a smooth-running body. Every aspect of our health (emotional, financial, mental, physical, social, and spiritual) impacts others. For example, how we care for ourselves physically depends heavily on what we think about ourselves (mentally, emotionally, and spiritually).
As you go about today, think about how you nourish your body. Is it working for you? If so, are you passing some of these healthy behaviors down to future generations? If not, do you see your child or loved one mimicking your fuel choices and suffering from them, too?
You have the power to change the thoughts behind unhealthy behaviors and to continue healthy ones.

Emotions and feelings are data to let us know our path. They can lead us down through dark tunnels and dead ends or to a spiritually enlightened path. But, it is through our emotions and feelings that we can remember who we are. We can see the divine spirit that we are, life's meaning, and purpose. It isn't the experience that we need to focus on. Nor is it people. But it is that which is inside us--what we allow to inhabit inside us that we need to examine. We are greater than our experiences, and no life event defines us.
Jealousy closes our eyes to the truth of who we are. We compare ourselves to others and desire to live their lives instead of our own. We forget that our lives have a divine purpose. It's time to remove jealousy from your inner garden and replace it with the Truth.
In this episode, I share a recent school experience that helped put my children in the driver's seat of their education and is now the template for future relationships.
In this podcast, I discuss how our environment can help shape us, but ultimately, we choose the thoughts and, therefore, the life we want. At any time, we can break the generational cycle of pain by examining our thoughts, picking out the weeds (unhealthy thoughts), and nourishing the spiritual seeds within us.
Respect doesn't look to be liked. Respect comes with a conviction of being yourself regardless of what others do.
In this episode, I share my thoughts on how we can use our tongues to continue or break the cycle of pain. Sometimes, through sharing our pain (e.g., insecurities, doubts, fears, and the like) with our children, we don't realize the negative impact it can have on their mindset and actions. In addition, I share how we can break the cycle of pain through consciousness, the ultimate way of creating a generational cycle of love.
In this episode, I share my first time realizing how powerful seeds are. Cultivating life-giving seeds is an opportunity that all parents have and is a means of breaking the generational cycle of pain. We must transmute our pain into light to help us and our children see clearly. They are not their experiences or victims of their emotions and feelings.
As always, let me know your thoughts and share this podcast with others.

We would avoid a lot of anxiety, anger, disappointments, frustration, guilt, shame, violence, vengeance, and the like if we gave and expected nothing in return. The heart is the center of our actions; to preserve it, we must not allow strings of destruction to attach to it, for out of the heart flows the issues of life (acceptance, forgiveness, joy, and homicidal and suicidal thoughts). When we give from the heart, we open ourselves to Infinite Intelligence. Be grateful for experiences that unveil emotions and feelings, unlike your true self. Be grateful for the opportunities to speak with your children about giving. For what you teach, you ground the principles within yourselves.
In this podcast, I share some background information on why I started Freedom Fridays. You are worth the energy, money, and time to experience happiness, joy, freedom, and love.
In The Seeds We Plant Series: God Is Not In a Building, I encourage you to know our Creator for yourself. Too often, we take on others' faith instead of our own. We crumble when things don't go well instead of trusting that we are part of a divine plan. In addition, even more today, our children need to know their lives have meaning and purpose. Bullying and abuse in any form do not negate their worth. We don't have to push our beliefs on our children. We can encourage them to seek the all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere, loving Spirit for themselves.

Have you ever silenced your voice because of someone's title or the perceived image of an organization? The image of someone or something does not negate the truth. Sometimes, people hide their pain behind their titles, places, positions, and accolades. We must see beyond images and accept the truth. When you embody and express the necessary courage to shine light on darkness, we hold people accountable for their pain and can, at the same time, encourage them to acknowledge and safely address their unhealed wounds.

In this episode, I share what I believe is the root of confidence and how we can go beyond relying on ourselves and others. We can empower our children to feel more confident by helping them remember who they are. In this episode, I discuss critical building blocks to aligning with compassion, a virtuous seed all of us have. Every day, we have opportunities to look beyond our experiences and create the world we want to have from the inside out. The more we react to pain in an unhealthy way, the more experiences with pain we have. In other words, we can break the cycle of pain through compassion.
When we identify with our experiences, we are unstable and are tossed to and fro. Our emotions can lead us to tumultuous detours with more of the same experiences we are trying to escape. The more grounded we are in our truth, the less we become disturbed by others' actions. Spend time today asking yourself, Who am I Really?
Peace comes not only with meditation but with the realization of who you are.

We must remember that nothing happens overnight, especially bullying-type behavior. Unfortunately, people who hurt, sometimes hurt others, consciously and unconsciously. We must shed light on dark places and be willing to converse with the people involved. One life taken is too many. One life spared helps many. You can break the cycle of pain and create a generational love cycle. Believe and Achieve.

In this episode, I share how presence can create a generational love cycle. Within every experience is information. How we interpret that information will be critical in our daily presence. Living in the past continues the cycle of pain, whereas presence helps us to intervene early and appropriately.
I hope all is well with you and yours! Yesterday, a friend called me. She wanted to tell me two things. She informed me that her family would be in town next month, and the other shocking news she told me was that someone had kidnapped a girl. Thankfully, they found the girl. But, still, you are left thinking the kidnapping of children is still happening. So, what do you do?
Do we live in fear or become empowered to make a difference, speak with our children, listen to them, and guide them to make the best decisions?
In this episode, What Do You Do When You Hear of Another Kidnapping, I discuss how you can use a potentially traumatic experience to empower yourself and your child.

Our overall health and being in this world depends on our relationship with our Creator, the Source of life and living. This Higher Intuitive Energy is not limited to a book, building, religion, or anything else. What matters most is what we believe about this Energy, for out of it, we find ourselves and the true meaning of our lives. Our Creator wants a personal experience with everyone. The more you draw to it, the more it draws to you and reminds you that you are loved, loving, and can express love.

What does commitment mean to you? What are you committed to (e.g., love, acceptance, truth, understanding or fear, rejection, illusions, judgment, and others)? How are you showing your commitment to yourself and others?
The world has so many distractions, and it’s easy to get caught up in what others are doing. All of us are here for divine reasons, and we must start with the understanding that our lives serve as a commitment to love. Let’s commit to:
The seeds we plant become the harvest that feeds us and surrounds us.
Many stigmas still surround speaking up or advocating for yourself. Some people fear speaking up for themselves for fear of punishment (losing their job, people not liking them or being ostracized, being called a tattletale or other names, or being yelled out or physically punished). There are healthy ways of expressing ourselves, but when we imprison others to believe their emotions, feelings, and words don’t matter, some look for other means to express themselves. Unfortunately, we’ve seen it in teenage suicide, homicides, and violence in many forms. Abuse and neglect of others continue because they are told they will be punished, or someone they love will be punished if they speak the truth.
Speaking your truth builds confidence and self-esteem and encourages you to be more of your true self. When we release things that are hurting us in a healthy way, we enable healing and the child within us to express itself in wonderful ways. I’ve learned that we often gain respect when we stand firm in our beliefs, act from purified intentions, and express unwavering honesty.
We must listen with our hearts and put our pride aside. We must hear beyond the words and act earnestly to address concerns to prevent many of the preventable issues we have in the world.
How are you speaking up for yourself? How do you advocate for those you love so they don’t need external bandages to cover their pain? Remember, with learning, there is no guilt. We strive to improve each day, aligning with our divine spirit.
As always, make this lifetime great!

Daily, we are to clean our bodies, minds, energies, and spirits. Every day, people plant seeds. We must keep the seeds that promote health instead of dis ease. In this episode, I share the practical definition of cleanliness and what it means to me spiritually.

Timika
We treat ourselves and others based on what we believe about ourselves, not what we believe about them because if our belief about ourselves is right, then our thoughts about others are right. If we believe that our Creator made all of us in its image, then acceptance, love, forgiveness, and the like become more and more how we express ourselves. We don't allow our emotions and feelings to control us, for we know they can't control us. Instead of pulling others down or interfering with their life work, we help them. Instead of yelling at someone because they didn't make the best choice, we have compassion. Instead of judging people based on their cultural, social, and physical characteristics, we take delight because our Creator is all those things and more. When our thoughts about our image are right, our actions align with the Character that made us. We don't identify with unstable terminology because we are blown to and fro when the storms come.
We are more than human beings; we are spiritual entities. When we see our truth, we see others' truth.

Caring is a virtue all of us have access to. Caring behaviors energize and inspire people to be honest and do the right thing. We feel in control of our lives and know that we don't need to repeat the cycle of pain. Whatever we give out comes back to us and can either increase disease risk or promote healing.
How can you express caring right now? Who needs your love and attention now? If you don't know, go within. Your answer is waiting for you.
As always, make this lifetime great because you still can!

We must turn ourselves to the stability of our foundation. What are we doing daily to ensure a stable character that withstands life's storms? We have access to everything we need to break the cycle of pain (e.g., bullying, intimidation, low self-worth, and others).
Even people who try to control and intimidate others often have pain points and feel out of control. They, too, need to learn how to voice their concerns confidently and respectfully.
As always, make this lifetime great because you still can!
Timika
Feeling an emotion is different from becoming it. We can safely acknowledge our feelings and dig deep into why we feel a certain way. Within the why is the catalyst for disease and optimal health. Often, our emotions and feelings come from expectations we hold about others. We all have a curriculum here on earth, and we earn the degree of becoming the highest version of ourselves. We have teachers (young and old) who are here to help us along the way. Our teachers are not always kind to us or provide accurate information. But that's when we aim to align with the Divine Energy to help us navigate our earthly journey and fulfill our divine purpose.
Remember that:
No experience defines you.
You choose how to interpret data. Experiences, emotions, and feelings are data to interpret.
Our role is to take the lessons from the experiences and use them to improve the world.
Experiences help remind you of who you are. See yourself as the curious, kind, joyful, loving, and creative spirit that you are.
Every experience prepares you for the next one, including sharing your lessons with your child.
We are Co-Creators of our lives.
People act from the heart. Out of the heart flows their issues of life.
Give people back their anger, pain, resentment, and the like. Hold them accountable for their healing.
Life-giving and sustaining healing is possible.
The Truth will set you free.
In this episode, I share my thoughts about unity, a well-needed conversation. Disunity can occur in any environment. We must search for the truth about unity within our hearts and dismantle thoughts that don't align with united humanity.
As I've shared in an earlier message this week. The truth doesn't suffer when we don't follow it. We do.
As always, make this lifetime great because you still can!
Timika
My mother often told us that someone will give you an identity if you don't know who you are. Labels can be used to illuminate you or destroy you. You must choose how you will perceive the data from your experiences. What we believe about ourselves affects how we move along our journey; we can avoid certain pitfalls and detours, get swallowed in our life storms, or observe our experiences. Every day, you can quiet yourself, assess your internal foundation for life-draining weeds, and remove them. You can become more conscious of your words about yourself and others. Realize that what you say about others comes from you and affects your being.
We must take time to reinforce our truths so that when the storms come, we stand strong.
As always, make this lifetime great because you can!
Timika
Schools are not exempt from the projection of pain unto others. Beyond the title are humans who must learn self-mastery like all human beings. Children still learn about love, fear, and hate, and although we can't be there to guide our children through their experiences, we can focus on building and strengthening their foundation (character) to help them transcend their experiences. We (as parents and role models) can share life-giving and sustaining principles. We can read empowering books about people who overcame certain injustices and devotionals aimed to reinforce that our children's lives have meaning. We ensure accurate, consistent, reliable, relevant, and timely communication with our children's schools. We address concerns immediately.
Children need to know they have voices and can use them. Children with confident, healing, and powerful voices become adults with confident, healing, and powerful voices. In addition, children must know that the environment doesn't need to change them for the worse but is an opportunity to do what's right.
Our children must know that we (parents) are for the truth, not to confirm their actions but to honor what is right.
As always, make this lifetime great because you still can!
Timika
Every single part of you has a divine purpose. Your outer covering is who you need to be to learn the lessons you are here to learn and to reflect the Energy that knows all, sees all, and is everywhere. Your body is the vehicle for your divine message. But, often, we punish ourselves and end up being against our body instead of for it because of our perceptions about who we think we are and others' actions or inactions.
However, what body can maintain itself if we constantly beat it up, overfeed it, overwork it, and place unrealistic demands on it?
Eventually, our bodies reflect what we do to them (fatigue, weight loss/gain, arthritis, and other labels out there in the world).
But when we change our mindset, we change our lives. We reconnect with our body and the Source of life.
May you always know how special you are to creation.
Thanks,
Timika
How often have you heard the expression, "Success is the Best Revenge." If we navigate our earthly journey with the conscious or unconscious fuel, "You hurt me, and I'll show you what I will do." If you choose to be successful because of revenge, daily, you feed your nervous system, the entity that sends messages to every cell in your body, with vengeful thoughts. What messages are you sending to your body daily?
Because we are so focused on paying someone back, we can miss the cues that our body is out of harmony and more susceptible to disease. We can ruin relationships instead of increasing our bonds through communication and spending quality energy and time doing the things we love.
If you are putting projected pain in its rightful place (someone else's pain), seeing the person's heart, and not taking their actions personally, you don't have the energy, money, and time to waste on revenge. You have everything you need to transcend experiences, and you don't need to cover up your wounds. Instead, you focus more on using your experiences for the greater good without the excess baggage.
In addition, revenge is not ours. People create present and future energy with their actions and reap what they sew. Love is healing and wants others to heal, yet, love doesn't force people to do something they are not ready to do.
Therefore, revenge is unnecessary if you heal correctly from the inside out and put your experiences in a spiritual perspective. You don't seek revenge or have ill-will towards the person and just a conviction to do what you came here to do on all levels.

Many of us still hold onto what others did or didn't do and subconsciously refuse to free ourselves. We have given others the right to choose whether we will be free. Remember anyone who doesn't admit the truth is often still in pain. We struggle with fulfilling our divine purpose and with our health and wonder why we can't accomplish what we set forth. We forget that our inner state is critical to what we experience in life. Refuse to be weighed down and distracted by others' actions and inactions.
As always, make this lifetime great because you still can!

There is something deep within you that knows the truth. The truth's home is your heart and mind. Life events often test our beliefs, but we must hold firm to what we believe is true. We may be unable to explain our beliefs to others and sometimes ourselves. But just because we can't explain our beliefs in a moment of great despair or storm doesn't mean we are wrong. Faith is looking beyond our circumstances and believing the promises in our dreams, spiritual encounters, or just divine knowing.
When we remember who we are, there is divine healing. We will heal accordingly this lifetime by removing the thoughts that created the dis ease or disharmony in the first place.
Make this lifetime great because you still can!
Timika
It's tempting to lie, especially when we want to impress others (be more than who we are), prove a point, get resources, or avoid doing something we said we would do. It takes courage to express the truth. More than likely, you've experienced someone not telling you the truth and experienced betrayal, confusion, and resentment. But let your experiences make you better instead of bitter. Seek the truth in all you do and pass this legacy on to your children.
We have enough to keep our lives focused. For example, we have our divine purpose and often a generation to guide. When we seek the truth, we seek the right actions, words, environments, and relationships with food, energy, money, people, and time. We see possibilities instead of limitations.
Make this lifetime great because you still can!
Timika
The cycle of pain didn't start overnight. But, we all, at some point, have our introduction to this darkness. In addition, the virtue of trust is often lacking in families, healthcare, organizations, and in all areas of our lives. We have so much to distrust, but within us is the ability to regrow trust. Trust is one of the infallible seeds that lie within our hearts and minds.
Therefore, we have the ability to transform how we think and approach life. We must remember the spiritual being that we are to revitalize our hearts and minds.
As always, make this lifetime great because you still can!

Often, we are told to trust ourselves, or others encourage us to trust them. But our trust must be in a Higher Power to do the work we are here to do. We must have faith in something that knows all, sees all, and is everywhere. This power sees the heart of humans and knows what's best for us to achieve the Oneness of Spirit. Humans sometimes get swept by their emotions and feelings. Therefore, we don't put our faith in people or inanimate objects but in our Creator to show us the way along our earthly journey. We obtain stillness in matters via our trust in our Creator.
In addition, we must encourage our children to seek a relationship with our Creator to help them remember who they are and to carry out the work they are here to do.

Tolerating our experiences and humanity doesn't have to be hard. When you see another person, you see a reflection of truth and the energy, love, and power that created everything. In this episode, I share my thoughts on the virtue, tolerance, and how it can help you break the cycle of pain and create a generational love cycle.
Make this lifetime great because you still can!

One of the greatest factors guiding the generational cycle of pain is our belief systems. Every day we come in contact with data from all walks of life. And our perception of the experience starts the ripple effect of self-destruction or self-illumination of the light inside us. Whatever we do to ourselves, we often do to others. We must intentionally use the time to pick the weeds (anger, fear, hate, and the like) out of our internal garden daily. Make an effort to take the trash out every Friday so that you can enjoy your weekends with family, friends, and yourself. Mondays do not have to be known for the day most cardiac events occur.

Timika Chambers
In this episode, Cameron Chambers, my son, joins me to share his thoughts on thankfulness. Our children learn so much in the world. Many of which take them further from the truth. We must conversate with our children about principles and virtues that remind them they always have a choice. Gratitude brings contentment and can shine the light in dark places of our lives. Gratitude has been the two-way street of preserving my inner fruit and keeping unwanted visitors at bay. In addition, thankfulness plays a major role in being present with our children so we can break the cycle of pain by creating a generational love cycle.
As always, let me know your thoughts.

Forgiveness is a natural ability that all of us have. And, you are in your natural spiritual state when you no longer think about forgiving someone or have strong emotions and feelings such as anger, jealousy, resentment, and the like tied to them. Anytime we hold a grudge against others, we give this energy of pain more of our power. As you know, the more we think about someone, what they did or didn't do, the more we can attract similar life experiences. Then, we wonder why every man or woman treats me the same way he or she did. How come I keep experiencing the same things?
Therefore, we need more consciousness and light in the world, and when we see beyond our experiences to a greater calling of our spiritual selves, we shine more awareness into the world. We don't need to self-destruct because of what someone did, didn't do, said, or didn't say. Instead, we need to remember that our lives have meaning and purpose. When we remind ourselves that experiences don't define us, we remind others. When we take off the excess weight, we stand firmer and taller in who we are.

Aim to make gratitude a way of being. Thankfulness, like other virtues, can help you heal from the inside out by focusing on the bigger picture. Gratitude, like any action, can become a habit by daily implementation through words, written and spoken. With gratitude, you help keep your rightful programming and increase your quality of life because the more grateful you are for something, the more likely you will take care of it.

Our words reflect our inner state and tell us what to work on. Our words can either help build or destroy humanity. In addition, we must remember that children look to their parents and others to show them how to respond to life events When we create a generational love cycle through tactfulness, we remind our children that they don't have to say everything that comes to mind, and by role modeling, we can help them choose their words wisely.

Every experience is an opportunity to confirm who you are, not to lessen your identity. We must choose a perspective that prevents us from falling into the potholes of life or one that can quickly minimize our stay in the potholes. Then, when we come out of the dark wilderness of misuse and abuse, we can lead a life with strong principles and a foundation that withstands life's storms. By having a student perspective on life, labels don't stick, and we see the experiences for what they are.
You must know the pain projected on you, in whatever form, is not your fault. Instead, we must face our emotions and feelings and see the experience for what it is (someone's way of projecting their emotions and feelings). Then, we can move forward and do the work we are here to do.

In this episode, I encourage you to rethink the meaning of service. How we serve has impacted our overall health in so many ways and will continue to do so until we return back to the basics of how we are to serve throughout this earthly journey. We all embody gifts and talents and have a divine makeup to do the work we are here to do. Each day, we learn and grow to become the highest version of ourselves.

Storms are inevitable. As my son said, "Don't spend your time running away from something because it will always come back." We choose our responses to our life experiences and emotions, and feelings. The more we run, sometimes the louder and more damaging the storms can become. But the more we face this organized chaos, our vision often becomes clearer. Of course, don't underestimate the power of your emotions and feelings, and at the same time, don't undervalue your ability to put them in their rightful place.

Last week, my children and I discussed self-discipline, one of the 52 virtues we've reviewed for almost a year. Self-discipline isn't only for specific people but is within our reach to sew seeds at an early age. We don't need to be robots or create little robots but encourage our children to listen to that still small voice that is there to help us along our earthly journey.
Self-discipline is at the heart of many chronic preventable conditions. As parents, we can maximize opportunities to reinforce virtuous seeds in our children and in ourselves.

We can't undo the past but can choose our perception of life events. You were put here on earth for reasons, and being the object of someone's else pain is not one of them. You are more than an experience; you have everything you need to transcend life events. You have a powerful mind linked with the Infinite Intelligence that created the world and beyond.
Remember that anything that doesn't belong will not fit or stay still. The emotions, feelings, and thoughts (anger, anxiety, resentment, and the like) you have often attract similar ideas.
May you address recurring thoughts and replace them with seeds of truth. You have the divine right to do so.

Will becoming more responsible lead to more peace and unison among human beings? As a parent, we can promote responsible behavior in the home by modeling it and openly communicating with our children. Simultaneously, we can increase awareness of our children's actions, words, and behavior by using teaching moments to nourish the seeds of virtue within them. And whatever we nurture within someone else, we cultivate within us.

In this series, Remember Who You Are, I will share principles/truths that I believe will help you transcend experiences as it was meant for you to do so. It is so easy to forget who we are and that you have everything you need to transcend experiences. No experience defines or labels you; you can use every experience to benefit you, others, and the world. Every day we must strive to protect our children by helping them remember their divine reason for being here on earth, and their life's meaning and purpose don't change no matter what someone does or doesn't do. Through our steadfastness, older children may, too, remember who they are and express the divineness within them.
If anything, our experiences, including assault and misuse of our bodies, can help crystallize the conviction inside of us to do what we can to make the world a better place, minus the labeling of others.
You don't have to be a victim to change the world; just one who believes there is a better way.

What actions and words come to mind when you think about the word respect? Like other virtues, respect is something we innately have. Respect starts with our thoughts about who we are. After realizing who we are, we respect ourselves and others; we know we are more than our material and physical possessions, experiences, emotions and feelings, and labels.
When we respect others, we move away from violent behavior and thoughts; we aim to promote unity, realizing that everyone has a divine purpose.
And, the more we model respect, the more we confirm the virtue in ourselves and our children.

Reliability means more than just being trustworthy, but acting from the core of your truth. We don't need people to show us how to be more reliable. We have emotions and feelings (data) that can help us do what is right at the right time. We know what it feels like to have people change their minds about doing something. The more we role model reliability with our children (being an open vessel, tending to our garden and ridding the weeds, replanting (repetitive reliability), and providing the proper nourishment to the life-sustaining seeds with us), the more our children will want to do the same. It's a good feeling when you can trust that people will keep their word. Reliability shapes the minds to expect the best in others because the best is in them. The more we focus on what is possible, the more likely the possible will happen. So, speak from the heart. Refuse to let your emotions and feelings dictate your life, and say what you mean and mean what you say.
Make this lifetime great because you still can! The power to change the thoughts of discord, divisiveness, and the like is within you.
Timika
How would our world be different if we really understood and promoted purposefulness? Many people daily fight the barraging of divisive actions, words, opinions, and stereotypes. Energy in the form of intimidation of others' gifts, greed, and sabotage continues to circle the world. Many people question their life's meaning and purpose and wonder if they belong here. There are no mistakes. Every being has a purpose. Like our creator, we are here to express unconditional love and guide children in expressing their divine gifts.
We teach children not to give up and focus their energy and minds on what they want to accomplish. The more we help our children be who they are, the more we become who we are. Hence, whatever we teach we become.
Purposefulness goes beyond titles. Living a life of purpose means knowing that every earthly task has divine importance.

Perseverance is about not giving up and pursuing to achieve what you know will make the world a better place. Behind every action is a thought, and behind every idea is a seed. We can change what we are growing by changing the seeds we plant. Over the following few podcasts, I will discuss how planting specific seeds can help you create the generational love cycle that you and your loved ones deserve. There was a time when I didn't want to bring children into the world due to the violence I saw and heard. But then, one day, I realized I could raise children who could make a positive difference in the world. We can interweave our experiences, gifts, and talents into a legacy worth fighting for. In this fight, we disperse anger, anxiety, fear, guilt, self-doubt, resentment, shame, and like-minded emotions by using our energy for the greater good. We can become doers of the word and help our children become the same because whatever we teach, we become.

Assessing our beliefs about love is critical to breaking the cycle of pain and creating a generational love cycle. Love sees the light in all beings and serves to ignite purpose and reunite all. Love sees beyond the experiences, titles, and opinions of others. Love sees the truth because love is truth. May your Valentine's Day be one of many days you embody, nourish, and express the love you have within you and to others.

Do you give the same advice you give to your best friend? If your best friend said she was dirty, stupid, and unworthy, what would you tell her and why? Would you affirm his thoughts if your male best friend voiced the same descriptions? The love we feel and express comes from the inside first. How can you become your best friend? For one, you can choose to love yourself no matter your experiences. You choose your consistent thoughts and spoken words. You believe you deserve respect. You speak your truth and feel obligated to do so. You are patient with yourself and realize growth is a process. You teach others by example how you want them to treat you and are consistent as much as possible. You challenge harmful words with the truth. You realize that you are a magnificent creation, and nothing can change that.

Transcendence is about realizing you are more than your experience. Your life has meaning and purpose, and nothing or no one on earth can change your divine makeup. May this holiday season be a time of deep reflection and revelation. Desire to be free mentally, physically, socially, spiritually, and in every aspect of your health.

Healing from the inside involves seeing opportunities instead of challenges. For example, a scary dream is an opportunity to assess your fears. Episodes of anger are opportunities to assess other unhealed wounds. Just because you feel something doesn't mean you have to become it. No one takes your curiosity, desire to live and fulfill your purpose, and joy away unless you choose to.
You have the power to make this lifetime great. But, so often, our life changes after our thoughts about life change. Emotions are feelings, and you choose how you want to use them. You have the right to heal, set boundaries, and experience freedom during the holidays. We cannot change the past, but we can change how we interpret the past.

The color of our skin wasn't meant to be a distraction but to be a part of our evolution of spiritual beings in earthly form. The personality and spirit are to become one, not to see division but unity, serving one another with compassion, grace, love, mercy, truth, and understanding. Just like the many colors on the earth, human color adds vitality and strength. Seeing our Creator in different forms should strengthen our bond with Him instead of adding divisiveness. Whatever we teach in the home becomes evident in the world. Being a parent is an opportunity to promote unity, but first, we must seek within and assess our beliefs. We must ask what grounds does division stand on and how stable is this foundation. In other words, what truths support division? What truths support unity?
Then, we honor the truths within us and share them with future generations.

Quality communication is vital to any relationship. I believe many of today's problems can be solved by listening more than speaking. So often, people want to feel valued. People, from the youngest to the oldest, want to feel that their thoughts matter. We can teach our children and ourselves to open our hearts and minds and the spiritual door to be and do what the moment needs. But, of course, the best way to teach a concept that the world needs more of is to emulate it at home.

Life presents us with different situations to express our true selves. We must be careful in not harboring ill will towards another or remembering past behaviors. Instead, we unclothe our experiences and take what resonates with the truth inside ourselves. Just because someone acted a certain way is never an excuse to repeat the behavior. And minor renditions of conduct are the same behavior.
Instead of saying I am not as bad as the other person, consider replacing the phrase with I choose to align with the truth in me. Your spirit knows even if you are unsure of what this truth is.

In today's episode, I discuss thoughts and what I've observed in my life and others. Thoughts are seeds that produce harvests (experiences). Often, we try to change our experiences without changing our thoughts. But, as you know, weeds (potentially harmful thoughts) will continue to grow in our subconscious minds until we remove their roots. I encourage you to not only reflect on your experiences but get to the heart of your life events, whether they brought you joy or perceived suffering. Within every experience is something to learn about yourself and an opportunity to increase awareness. If we are co-creators of our lives, what are you bringing into your life? In addition, I encourage you to ask yourself some pivotal questions and provide helpful tips on cleaning up your internal garden (conscious and subconscious mind). Your actions, thoughts, and words will confirm what's in your garden.

In this episode, I share how my father's absence was pivotal in showing me whom I didn't want to be and leading me to who I am. I don't consider myself a fatherless daughter because I turned to my Father, my Creator and the Creator of humankind in my father's absence. As I've stated, nothing an adult does is a child's fault. Memories don't have to bring anger, doubt, guilt, resentment, shame, vengeance, and the like. You can create the family you want by remembering what you don't want.

No matter how good you are, someone else can and may take your place if you aren't available to do the work. So how are you maintaining boundaries with family, self-care, work, and other relationships? Do you spend all day cleaning the house to prove that you are a good housewife? Do you stay up all night studying for an exam to prove you are a good student and neglect quality sleep? Do you do everything for your capable child instead of instilling accountability, gratitude (for their functional body), respect, and teamwork? Do you stay in an unsupportive relationship because you believe that abuse and neglect are normal and that there isn't anyone who will give you the respect you deserve?
People often treat you how you let them treat you. You have the right to set your boundaries and have the support you need to be the best person you can be. In addition, you have the right to take care of your body so that it can support the work you are here to do.
So, where do you draw your lines? What boundaries do you have in life?

In this podcast, I encourage you to assess and evaluate the records and seeds planted in your mind. What thoughts are you having that keep you stuck in an experience? Freedom occurs on the inside when you realize you don't have to struggle and suffer with your life. There is a deep peace in knowing you experience life instead of becoming your experience. Whatever you are going through, I hope you accept the peace that surpasses understanding. Peace keeps you aligned with your spirit. Doors close, and doors open.

In this episode, I share a pivotal thought in breaking the generational cycle of pain. Many medications were created to help people live longer and increase their quality of life. I believe drugs were never meant to be a cure. Conditions such as anxiety, depression, weight management, and more also require internal work. Drugs in any form do not get to the root cause. For many conditions, the sooner you face your emotions and feelings, unwire harmful thoughts, and let go of the past, the freer you are to live your life. Of course, many experiences will challenge our beliefs about ourselves, but we must stand firm in who we are and realize the power within us. You've probably heard of the placebo effect in which people receive something other than the experimental drug and still report improved health. I believe our thoughts about ourselves, our life events, and the healing affect our healing path. I do think there is a place and time for everything. We may not understand the reasons beyond our experiences. I do believe the body is amazing and capable of healing itself. As I prepare for my tutoring session in Pharm, I can't help but wonder about the other ways we can manage our health, especially with fewer side effects. Critical concepts to healing from the inside out, fulfilling our divine purpose, and achieving and sustaining optimal health are changing how we process events and believing that we are more significant than our experiences.
As always, let me know your thoughts, and if you believe this episode will help someone, please share.

When constantly dealing with people crossing our boundaries, we must go inside and assess our life principles. The principles you have set for yourself guide your earthly journey and the relationships you experience.
According to the Census Bureau, around 25% of people grow up without their fathers. For some, there are many sad memories surrounding Father's Day. But, we don't have to continue the cycle of pain. Forgiving our father is another hurdle to overcome if we truly want to be free. Instead, we can choose to allow our fathers to become our Greatest Teachers, learning what not to do so we do what we must do.

When people know their path will not be like anyone else's, they will stop comparing themselves with others and focus on their lives. They will cease to want what others have and focus on nourishing and healthily expressing their gifts. But unfortunately, plenty of talented people are in prisons and gangs, on the streets, or at home and work, misdirecting their divine energy. Yet, all have greatness within them.
When we have faith in a higher power, we trust it will give us the support we need to do the work we are here to do. So there is no need for bitterness, jealousy, backbiting, resentment, and the like. We are too focused on our work to waste energy on nonsense.

It's easy to lose focus and momentum after someone has projected their pain on you, but as my mother often said, "Time waits on no one. Life still goes on." Did the people who projected their pain on you profess to know God and have a relationship with Him? If so, do not let others' actions deter you from the Truth. There is a higher power who loves you.
A shift happens when we listen to the truth within us and not focus on others' actions.
During Paul's talk in Athens, he said, "the God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands (Acts 17:24); for in Him, we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:28).
Receive Five Spiritual Truths That Can Help You Heal From The Inside Out.
There are no quick fixes or external aids that can heal us from the inside out. Instead, inner truths (life principles) help us avoid many potholes throughout life. There are roots within every disaster or surprising experience, and many of these roots extend far into our lineage. Any type of violence, prejudice, racism and other divisive means and strife don't occur overnight.
Within us is the power to strip away the weeds from our hearts and minds and cultivate our spiritual fruit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, Galatians 5:22).
Then, we see the power in the principle that nothing happens overnight.
There is a place and time for everything. And, there is compassion when we fall short of our true selves. We learn, grow, and live out our divine purpose as spiritual beings in earthly form.

Often, we spend time living someone else's life for various reasons. Maybe we regret not fulfilling our dreams or not being a good enough parent to our children (we over-parent our grandchildren or others' children). Many have chosen careers that fit the generational cycle instead of following our hearts. No matter our reasons for getting out of place, our true place awaits our acknowledgment, belief, and action. May you take the necessary time to assess where you are in your life. Are you in "your place?" Do you feel at home with yourself?

With every experience, we choose our perspective. Choosing to transmute our childhood trauma comes from the inside out. It's not about being positive for me. Believe that you are resilient.
Believe that you can access this superpower. Spend time reflecting on nature and how you are here today regardless of what you've experienced.
Believe that you can change your thoughts. If you believe that you are doomed, weak, or any other false adjective because of what others did to you or didn't do, know that you are still here for reasons. You can bounce back to your natural state of curiosity, joy, peace, purpose, trust, and like-minded virtues.
Make a list of how you've overcome past experiences and how you can continue to move forward with your life.

Just because I saw domestic violence doesn't mean I need to become it. We are fully capable of transforming our environment if we feel it is not benefiting us. Will you choose to transmute your pain to brighten your Light?

Domestic violence isn't a private affair. Unfortunately, too many children, who experience some form of violence during childhood, project their pain on others, but it doesn't have to continue that way. We break the cycle of pain by acknowledging the unfair treatment of others and acting responsibly with our pain.
Here are a few resources to learn more about domestic violence.

A shift is possible when we increase self-awareness and realize we are fully capable of healing and transcending our experiences. I do not tell people how to live because deep within you are the answers for your life. Please remember you are worthy and never the reason for disrespectful and hurtful behavior. It's not too late to break free.

You are more significant than your experiences. You choose who you want to be despite the pain projected onto you. It's not too late to ask the pivotal question. "Who am I really?

Louise L. Hay, You Can Heal Your Life
How we see the Coronavirus storm affects how our children see this storm and future storms. Often, storms bring up things we haven't addressed and test the foundation on which we stand. Are you feeling attacked? Frustrated? Unorganized? How much time are you spending in stillness to assess emotions and feelings that have been there?
Remember, the legacy we leave for future generations comes from the inside. We have everything we need to weather the storms of life.

The more we see things as they are than our past influences, the more we see that everyone is here because they belong here. We are all messengers of Truth.
We can create the positive circle of influence we need to heal from the inside out. Sometimes, we need to go outside our family to receive the support we need. Trauma doesn't have to lead to more pain. We use our pain to create a legacy out of love because we know what pain feels like.
Make this lifetime great! You have within your power to do so.

Trust in something greater than people. Proverbs 3:5 encourages us to trust in God and not in our own understanding. Early on, I learned that even family members have things they are dealing with.
Part of accepting and acknowledging our Truths is shining the light on potentially harmful information. Our beliefs are the cornerstone of our actions.

The Truth is the key to breaking the dark generational pain cycle and creating the Light Generational Love Cycle. We do not have to add to the darkness that continues to dismantle the family concept and callous hearts. By owning our truths and demystifying myths, we open the door to our healing path.
Early on, I realized that too many people are suffering from this generational cycle of pain. Instead of breaking the cycle of pain, let's create a cycle of love by healing from the inside out.
Mothers can help be the change we need to see in the world. Many of us know what it is like to have our voices silenced. We can help our children unleash their light by instilling compassion, respect, and understanding.
