Kohler, Wisconsin and the shore of Lake Michigan is the host this week as it tries to tame the 12-man, 6-team event that has taken Myrtle Beach and Pinehurst by storm. Word is Justin Thomas and the boys left a few bottles of champagne in the clubhouse for the low man and low team after they spanked Europe in the fall of 2021. Will Bobby and Dean spank the boys en route to their third straight championship? Can two of the four debutants win? How many guys can really win? Who has the most line value? And what the hell is the spirit of the tour anyway.

It's the final episode of season 2 on the Walk It In podcast. We appreciate all who have followed along and tailed the money making machine (up 35 units as a podcast this season). We have one more ride before we take a short break leading into season 3 at Kapalua in January.

Playoffs! Yes, we're talking playoffs this week. The Top 125 descend upon the same course Mark has played (shocker!) just outside New York City for the first leg of the FedEx Cup Playoff. There is plenty of money and prestige on the line for these players this week, and it should be an amazing close to a really fun season. So many guys got their first wins, unlikely guys had multiple wins this season, and this playoff typically shows the top guys rise to the occasion. It's the final chance at the Top 125 for the Fed Ex Cup Playoffs starting next week. There's always plenty to play for on the Tour, and plenty of money to be won across the betting card. Jeff and Mark break down the final tournament of the 2021 regular season and get ready for who is going to claim those coveted spots in the Top 125 before we get to playoff golf (which has honestly been like every other tournament for the last couple of months).

We're back stateside for the PGA Tournament this week before the Tour takes a week off for the Olympics (we don't take break though!). We're in the Land O' The Lakes for a relatively strong field (so long as some of the top guys coming over from Royal St. George's stay in it) and another birdie fest. Both Mark and Jeff have some guys who have been riding some heaters, and they're hoping to find some heaters of their own before the season concludes in just another month or so!

Euro 2020, Scottish Open, Wimbledon, and now The Open Championship returns from it's one year COVID hiatus. Mark and Jeff are excited for early morning golf and a cup o joe as they tee it up in Sandwich, England at Royal St. George's. This is the final major of the year so Mark is licking his chops and Jeff is looking to capture some major glory as we enter the last couple months of the PGA season.

Everything is bigger in Texas! Although this week we're wishing for a slightly bigger, better field for the final tune up before The Masters next week. There are plenty of Texas locals this week (Spieth, Scheffler, Ancer) who will tee it up before they make their way east to Augusta. It's also the last gasp for Masters qualification for a guy like Rickie Fowler, so we're eager to see Mark dressed in orange spoiler if Rickie can put it together. Plenty of WGC takes this week as it relates to Ryder Cup, and reads for the Valero Texas Open. Let's roll 'em this week!

Mark and Jeff are back once again for the reads this week after both finishing in the green last week. No Pro Am this week at Pebble, but we'll still be seeing a weaker field overall. Compare that to last week where we had a stacked field with the return of Spieth (what a Saturday round!) and Koepka (what a closer!). What an incredible week of golf, and with no football on TV it's officially golf season! We'll miss fans this weekend at one of the biggest parties on the PGA Tour (even if they let in a few thousand people), but it doesn't deter us from bringing the reads for the 2021 Waste Management. From Pat Reed to Torrey Pines we saw a lot of golf in the news last week, and you can't get enough of golf's #1 villain.
