Jesus is continuing to speak to a group of non-Jewish seekers brought to Him by the disciples (John 12:20–22). His earlier statement compared His impending death to the planting of a seed (John 12:23–26). What might seem like death and destruction is really the process which turns something mundane and immature into something mature and productive. This is a concept also explored by Paul in his letters (1 Corinthians 15:36–42).

we find Jesus and His disciples caught in a literal storm as they crossed the Sea of Galilee. As we take a look at their different responses to the storm, we see how God grows us and comforts us in the trials of life
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn

A man without principles or decisions is a living corps. Let's reexamine our lives and make decisions that will put us on the right track. Anyone who is unable to learn from his or her mistakes is a failure. Anyone who takes a lesion after every fall, is a success.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
The tragedy in life is not that it starts too soon but that we wait too long to begin it.
Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts(A)— 10 no bag for the journey or extra shirt or sandals or a staff, for the worker is worth his keep. Whatever town or village you enter, search there for some worthy person and stay at their house until you leave.
And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.
A prophecy from Jeremiah. Jesus was born in pain to perfect the world. If don't take time to understand people's trouble, you will create your own version which is the first step to empathy. Respect people who can mend a broken ❤️, a man who can raise a child he didn't give birth to. Respect the old not bc of their gray hair, but bc of their Wisdom
