Literacy Mic is Washtenaw Literacy's podcast where we have conversations about learning. Each season centers around a broad theme and each episode is an interview with a constituent, be they staff, board, learner, or community member about that theme. Our first season is about barriers to learning, with a special introductory episode about Washtenaw Literacy's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work.
Learner Melissa shares her experiences with ESL Book Group. She talks about her path to learning English through literature. Her humor and joy of learning are clear throughout her conversation with Eric Black.
