I started podcasting as a way to interact with my readers about topics I couldn't write about. Then, one Sunday, I listened to an audiotape of my father in his early twenties. It was fascinating to hear his voice. It was like opening a portal to a different time. I've never met my father's mother or my mother's father. I wish I could hear their voices or read their words. As a result, this podcast developed into more of a time capsule project.
