Balance.

What does that mean to you? What does that mean in your work and life?

We already know that the pandemic caused a huge paradigm shift, especially in our work setup.

We work where we live and we live where we work.

The question is, how do you find balance when your work and your life get so enmeshed?

I’m not going to give you typical advice you can easily Google. But I’m going to tell you my story.

It's a circus out there in the world. You have ready and equip yourself if you want to thrive. Equipping yourself though doesn't happen overnight. It's a process and process takes time.

Here, Cheryl shares her journey as she evolved from who she used to be and how she built herself up towards becoming who she wants to be. She went through a process of self-exploration and zeroed in on her goals and you can't rush that.

So if you ever feel like nothing's happening in your life or that it's too late to take action on that dream, remember it's not too late to start. If you start now, you'll still be on time. But you better start now than not at all.

What's next? is the question my team and I asked ourselves as we were ideating a new concept for season 2 of PMR.

As podcasting has become commonplace these days, how do we differentiate ourselves from the pack and take our listeners to an elevated experience?

How do we disrupt our current way of thinking so we can generate new thoughts and ideas, execute on them, and deliver something immaculate and immersive that our audience can take delight in?

That's the thought process while I was writing this.

And those are the questions we're going to answer in this 5-minute episode. As usual, put your headphones in to get the full experience.

And if you have any questions, give me a holler :)  - Nash

Entrepreneurship. Sounds fancy and bold. The word definitely has a positive connotation.

But do we really know what this means?

What does it really take to lead a team and build your own business from the ground up?

Who do you need to become so you can be the person capable of achieving great things?

Why do we do what we do?

Or more like, why am I doing this? What for? What am I trying to prove?

So I contemplated these questions. I kept contemplating. Until I reach an epiphany.

Birthright

Do you think that it’s your birthright to be confident in the work that you do?

Is it your birthright to call yourself an artist?

As we know, there are many artists out there who are still finding their voice and space in this world. Some are just hiding while some are still struggling to express their inner creative self.

In this Ripple episode, Michael takes you to his little journey on how he was able to evolve his mindset to own his artistic endeavors in the hopes of helping others to finally believe in themselves.

Though Michael has shown his creative self ever since he joined social media platforms, he had limiting beliefs that he was able to surpass to be fully confident in the things that he does as an artist.

Personal Workflow.

If your work is creative, is establishing a workflow necessary?

Or do you just get in the zone as soon your bum hits your work chair?

What's your process?

In Michael's second episode, he talked about the point when he realized that even creative projects need a reliable process because relying on motivation alone isn't enough. It's not sustainable.

When he started to work in Podcastmate, he hasn't yet established his own process and rituals that will help him get in the zone on a daily basis.

The pure enjoyment of creating was enough to sustain him, or so he thought.

Until he had a life-changing virtual meeting that completely shifted his perspective.

Workflows don't have to be perfect. It will be a constant work-in-progress -- emphasis on the word "progress".

But the main thing is, it's gotta be fun, it's gotta be enjoyable, it's gotta be playful, and it's gotta help you get the hard things done.

Listen to the episode and we would love to hear your own personal workflow and how you established it.

Ione Velasquez, Podcastmate's video producer, shares his insights and thoughts on what it takes to produce a podcast show.

It takes a village. You start the process with the end in mind. Then you retrace your steps back to step 1.

Production is one thing, post-production is another, then marketing, and all that jazz because it doesn't end there.

But why do we keep doing it if it's that hard?

If you haven't followed the first 2 episodes of PMR Ripple, I suggest you go back and have a listen.

Then listen to this episode.

How do you start your workday even when you're just working at home?

How do you signal your body that it's go time?

For most of us it's coffee, open the laptop, headphones in... and ACTION!

Ione (Podcastmate Video Producer) though, who's not a coffee drinker, is a COLD DRINK... to wake up his brain and signal it that it's time to make magic.

Ione shares his story, his process, and his ritual on how he gets himself into the zone and starts doing, start imagining and start creating.

Listen in... and enjoy!

Best to listen with a cold drink in hand.

Second Wind.

After you've exhausted all your efforts and gave it all you got you feeling like you've got nothing left to give and that if you push more, there's just nothing.

But then you pushed, you pushed your boundaries, you stretched your limit until... whew! you managed to somehow draw a deep and satisfying breath that gave you new strength you never thought you had, that somehow somewhere in there you've tapped an untapped tank of fuel in your reserves.

That's what this episode is about. Is about a point in Nash's entrepreneurial life where she thought she was at her limit, where everything just felt like noise that she can no longer deal with, where everything just seems to weaken her. But really, they all toughened her up.

Now she's restarting her new journey with a fresh headspace and a new outlook, where fighting to make her dreams come true feels both painful and delightful. It feels good. She takes a stronger stance and is ready to overcome her struggles and get out there in the marketplace and serve the people she wants to serve -- ICONIC BRANDS that want an iconic way of thinking and of doing things.
