Everything you need to know about the Dallas Cowboys, the NFL Draft and whatever else I think of featuring analysis and informed opinions from me, Jeff Cavanaugh and my friends around the industry.
Every Wednesday leading up to the NFL Draft is Plug and Play, an NFL draft pod featuring Bryan Broaddus, Dane Brugler and myself. Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jeff-cavanaugh/support
Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan joins me as he does every Monday and Thursday and today we'll talk some Dallas Cowboys draft along with analysis of where the team is. Boise St RB and projected first round pick Ashton Jeanty says he wants to be a Cowboy. Are you surprised that's still a thing? If the Cowboys have a top 10 pick does taking a RB make sense? Micah Parsons is predicting greatness for Mazi Smith. You buying? Plus WR Jonathan Mingo is ready to make his Cowboys debut. What's the most interesting storyline for this team right now? Oh and Dak Prescott had surgery. 3 months is the recovery time. Buckle up for Trey Lance and Cooper Rush.
The Cowboys without Dak Prescott got throttled again.
The debate about Cooper Rush and Trey Lance will continue as both were absolutely awful. Micah Parsons return helped the Cowboys defense (with DeMarvion Overshown and Trevon Diggs) show life for a half of football but they couldn't sustain it.
This thing is completely, totally broken. Jerry Jones for his part remains defiant about keeping Mike McCarthy through the end of the season and also about letting the sun blind his players.
All that to say, welcome to draft season with our friend Bryan Broaddus.
The Dallas Cowboys had another disappointing showing against the Atlanta Falcons leading to some of us (me for example) to conclude the postseason is out of reach this season. Jerry Jones threw a curveball after the game when the Cowboys 'have some things in the mix' with the trade deadline looming tomorrow. Injuries to Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb further complicate things and we discuss how Rico Dowdle is actually good. Stop being cute with Dalvin Cook and Zeke Elliott, let the good dude play.
The 3-4 Dallas Cowboys are staring at a must win game travelling to Atlanta to take on the Falcons this Sunday. Dak Prescott, who wasn't listed as a top 10 QB by his teammates Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs on Micah's podcast, will have to play cleaner and better football to give the Cowboys a chance. The potential return on DaRon Bland could give a boost to the defense that is tasked with slowing down Kirk Cousins, Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Bijan Robinson etc. What are the causes for optimism in this matchup? Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins to discuss. What are yours? Leave them in the comments!
Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones said the words ALL IN over and over again this offseason and it was never a real thing. He did however tell you the actual plan at one point, we just paid more attention to the fun headline words. They got the Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb deals done just in time, they're going to do the same thing with Micah Parsons. Although the idea of trading Micah is worthwhile, for a couple of reasons that I'll go over. I'll show you exactly how this team was never going to be all in, and exactly when and how they WILL be all in.
The Dallas Cowboys weren't able to overcome the San Francisco 49ers, again. Mike Zimmer's defense continues to be unable to stop the run, the Cowboys can't run the ball themselves despite trying out Dalvin Cook to partner with Ezekiel Elliott this week.
Dak Prescott continues to turn the ball over every week. CeeDee Lamb had a big game but it all stills feels off.
Trevon Diggs hit a reporter with 'deez nuts' after the game.
That's we were are with the Cowboys today. Yikes.
We're finally back to football! Let's take a look at the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers and how Dallas can get this thing back on track and get the fanbase believing again. We've got updates on Micah Parsons, DaRon Bland, Deebo Samuel and other guys who have missed games and practices and how they will or won't affect the outcome.
Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and the passing game have got to get it back going. Brock Purdy has had his challenges so far this year and will be missing an important piece. How can the Cowboys slow him, Jordan Mason and the 49ers offense down?
And of course Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy are back in the news because why wouldn't they be? Please smash that like button and make sure you're subscribed!
Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins me as he does every Monday and Thursday to talk about the Dallas Cowboys chances against the San Francisco 49ers. They certainly don't look like world beaters, but the Cowboys are going to have to be a lot better than they've been lately.
The potential returns of Micah Parsons and DaRon Bland certainly make things look a little better defensively, the 49ers should be without Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey. Is that enough to make you feel optimistic about the good guys? Offensively can we expect progress as we move forward from Tyler Guyton and Cooper Beebe? If not, how in the world can you expect the offense to pick up? Can the Cowboys establish a non CeeDee Lamb threat for offenses to worry about Dak Prescott throwing to? Can they run the ball better with Rico Dowdle and whoever else?
All the questions coming out of the bye and all our answers, right here.
The Detroit Lions smoked the Dallas Cowboys 47-9 yesterday.Bryan Broaddus is joining us to break down what the film says about what went wrong and where in the world to go from here.Mike McCarthy's Dak Prescott-led offense had no answers to even try and keep the Cowboys competitive while Mike Zimmer's shorthanded defense got absolutely shredded all day.Jerry Jones said after the game they aren't interested in making trades to help this roster. So what gives you hope for the rest of the season?
The Dallas Cowboys JUST snuck one out against the Pittsburgh Steelers last night. Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan has already done the film because he's a psycho who doesn't sleep. Did the offensive line get better with Tyler Smith moving to tackle after Tyler Guyton got hurt? Did the wide receiver group upgrade with KaVontae Turpin in for Brandin Cooks? Was this Zeke Elliott's last week on the active roster?
Plus how Mike Zimmer's defense pulled off that performance against Justin Fields and company without Micah Parsons, Tank Lawrence, DaRon Bland, Caelen Carson and Marshawn Kneeland.
The Dallas Cowboys run defense didn't show up once again and they got steamrolled by Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and the Ravens. They've got a LOT to work through and try to get right in a hurry. Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and the offense couldn't get off to a fast start. Micah Parsons and Tank Lawrence's defense can't stop anything and now they're getting in to it on the sideline. Lamb's body language was awful during the game and they played their best offense without him. Where do the Cowboys go from here?
Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan joins me to tell us what exactly went wrong with Mike Zimmer's defense against the New Orleans Saints. How were Derek Carr, Alvin Kamara, Rashid Shaheed and Chris Olave able to to shred the Cowboys defense so easily? Scheme or players? Why was Micah Parsons a non factor? We also check in on Tyler Guyton, Tyler Smith, Zack Martin, Cooper Beebe and Terence Steele. Do they need time to gel or are we worried about it? Plus the $95 million combo of Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb and lack of other receiving options
Bryan Broaddus is here to tell us what the tape says about the Cowboys destruction of the Cleveland Browns.
Mike Zimmer's defense is off to a hot start with Micah Parsons, Tank Lawrence, Eric Kendricks and DeMarvion Overshown leading the way.
The Dallas Cowboys 53 man roster is official (for now). I'm hyped that Deuce Vaughn is in. We can talk about other position groups and what else Jerry Jones and company need to do before we start playing real football.
Dalvin Cook? More corner or DT help? Hop in let's talk about it.
After a rewatch of the Dallas Cowboys and Chargers preseason game we can talk about Trey Lance's performance and what the plan SHOULD be for him.
Plus there's a couple of guys on the roster bubble that I think made strong cases that the Cowboy's need to keep them.
It looks like the Cowboys 2024 draft could turn out to be a REALLY good one. Cooper Beebe is going to win the starting center job, Tyler Guyton is off to a great start, and this team might be able to rediscover running the football.
No one would be more appreciative than Dak Prescott.
Plus we'll take your questions including who is starting at LB, how the RB/TE groups will shake out and more! Oh can we get Deuce Vaughn on this team!?
The Dallas Cowboys finally made the move we've been asking for since before training camp by trading for another big defensive tackle in Jordan Phillips. This morning we got the news they've also signed DE Carl Lawson.
Analysis of the why now and the what next.
One more practice until the scrimmage between the Cowboys and Rams out here in Oxnard, California. Join Bryan Broaddus and me as we talk about the return of Trevon Diggs, the installation of Mike Zimmer's defense, Micah Parsons dominance etc.
Bring your questions let's talk Dallas Cowboys football.
Another padded practice for the Cowboys today and the top highlights for me were Trevon Diggs (kind of) returning to practice and the chess game that is going on with Dak Prescott vs Mike Zimmer and company. Plus:
The WR camp battle continues and it's a good one
Ryan Flournoy returned to practice in impressive fashion
The secondary player I haven't talked about enough
Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan and I analyze all the things that we learned from today's Blue-White Dallas Cowboys practice. It was the most intense and physical practice of camp so far and we need to talk about:
Dak Prescott and the offense's efficiency without CeeDee Lamb
Mike Zimmer's defensive pressures
The rookie making huge strides that needs more chances with the first team
The wide receiver who won't stop making plays
And more!
Venmo: @jeff-cavanaugh-1 if you'd like to tip your 15th favorite Cowboys content creator
Join Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 the Fan and I to talk about takeaways from the Cowboys first practice.

We're one week from training camp being underway and it's a Broaddus Thursday.
Join us as we talk about which of the big three (Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parson) is most and least likely to be a long term member of the Dallas Cowboys.
Plus we rattle through some of your training camp questions and get some story time with Bryan about Bill Parcells.
Let's talk about a possible reuniting with Stephon Gilmore as well as Bill Barnwell from ESPN ranking the NFL offensive weapons and where the Cowboys stand.
Do the Cowboys really have bottom half of the league weapons?
Pro Football Focus has ranked every team at every position group headed in to 2024 training camp. Let's take a look at how the Dallas Cowboys stack up and which groups I think can overachieve what is expected of them.
Do the Cowboys really have the WORST RB room in the entire NFL?
It's a Thursday which means our weekly visit with Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan and the Love of the Star podcast.
We cover all things Cowboys (fast forward to 5 minutes if you hate fun) from the Parsons offseason to what we can learn from Trey Lance's preseason to expectations for this offensive line in Dallas.
Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan and the Love of the Star podcast joins me as he does every Thursday as we preview Dallas Cowboys training camp and discuss the Cowboys news of the week.
Lots of questions and analysis of position groups as well as conversations about CeeDee Lamb and his contract and how we keep having Micah Parsons things to discuss.
Fast forward to 7:30 if you want to skip our having fun and bantering and get straight to Cowboys content.
Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News has reported that CeeDee Lamb is expected to miss training camp if he doesn't get a new deal. Let's dive in to what Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys SHOULD do about this.
It's a Bryan Broaddus Thursday. The biggest story of the week for the Dallas Cowboys is Ty Dunne's story on Mike McCarthy being 'kinda fed up' with the front office. Bryan has a great perspective on that.
Plus we'll touch on how we're going to preview Cowboys training camp and the guys who will have the most eyes on them including Trey Lance, Tyler Guyton and more.
NOTE: We definitely spend the first 9-10 minutes BSing, so fast forward to 9:50 if you just want straight Cowboys.
We've got two main topics of Dallas Cowboys conversation today. Report from a Packers reporter man that Mike McCarthy is 'fed up with it a little bit' the way the Cowboys do business.
Plus Micah Parsons has some quotes that I find downright encouraging. Join me for a Dallas Cowboys football conversation.
The great Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan and the Love of the Star podcast joins us as he does every Thursday. This week to discuss:
Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins us to talk about which Dallas Cowboy players have the most pressure on them in 2024. But not Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons or CeeDee Lamb because those are answers are boring.
Plus we cover a ton of topics about the offensive line, linebackers, secondary and wide receivers.
Jon Machota of The Athletic and the About Them Cowboys podcast joins us to talk all things Cowboys OTAs. He was out at the Star talking with Micah Parsons, Zack Martin, Dak Prescott etc.
What observations does our favorite Cowboys beat writer have from the OTAs and from CeeDee Lamb's absence?
We've got some numbers that illustrate just how incredible CeeDee Lamb is, and now that Justin Jefferson has set the wide receiver market, it's pretty easy to work out what the CeeDee Lamb contract looks like.
Jerry and Stephen Jones, get it knocked out. Like, now.
Also rest in peace to Larry Allen, the greatest offensive lineman to ever do it.
Everything you need to know from the Dallas Cowboys OTAs on May 22nd.
No Micah Parsons, no CeeDee Lamb.
The order the QBs are working in and all the Trey Lance talk you could want.
The offensive line begins with Tyler Guyton and Cooper Beebe as backups.
Come on in, let's talk Dallas Cowboys football.
Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins me to talk about the full Dallas Cowboys schedule being released with analysis and predictions for how this season is going to look.
Plus he was at Cowboys rookie mini-camp and has some observations on Marist Liufau, Cooper Beebe, Caelen Carson and a couple of others.
Your Dallas Cowboys news of the day is a three pack of things you need to know about.
It will be the Dallas Cowboys travelling to Cleveland to take on the Browns in week one of the NFL season. Tyler Guyton's first matchup as a rookie will be against Myles Garrett.
We'll get the rest of the schedule tomorrow. In the meantime, hop in for a chat about why getting them early is good, and which matchups are the most fun to watch.
Come on in and let's do some Dallas Cowboys football talk. I've got questions from the internet and you can bring your own.
I'm gonna drive the Cooper Beebe hype train if anyone would like to jump on board. Plus my other favorite draft pick they made and some hope on what Mike Zimmer's defensive line can do this year.
Former Cowboys scout Bryan Broaddus joins Jeff Cavanaugh to talk all things Dallas Cowboys.
We spend a good amount of time on Mike Zimmer and the difference he can make for this Cowboys defense in 2024.
Plus expectations for Mazi Smith going in to year two and how he's dealt with some of his struggles AND scouting reports from around the league on potential Cowboy Zay Jones.
It's not often we have good news about a draft pick on May 4th, but in the case of the Dallas Cowboys first round pick Tyler Guyton (OT OU) we've already good something cool happening.
Come on in and let's talk Cowboys football.
Former Cowboys scout Bryan Broaddus joins me for his thoughts on the Dallas Cowboys 2024 draft class. Scouting reports on Tyler Guyton (OU OT), Marshawn Kneeland (WMU DE) and more.
Plus his thoughts on not selecting a running back and Ezekiel Elliott's return.
Ezekiel Elliott is a Dallas Cowboy again. Let's talk about how he fits with the committee of Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn, Hunter Luepke, Royce Free etc and what sort of gas he has left in the tank.
Plus let's compare and contrast the 2023 and 2024 rosters at this point. With the losses of Tyron Smith, Tyler Biadasz, Tony Pollard, Stephon Gilmore and other contributors, how have they done at replacing or upgrading those spots?
The Dallas Cowboys 2024 Draft class so far:
Tyler Guyton OT (OU)
Marshawn Kneeland DE (WMU)
Cooper Beebe OL (Kansas)
Marist Liufau LB (ND)
Let's grade the work they've done and look forward to day 3 of the NFL Draft.
Come on in and lets talk about the newest member of the Dallas Cowboys plus the trade they made.
Scouting report on Tyler Guyton, your new left tackle. Extra third round pick, yours to use tomorrow.
Happy draft day Cowboys Nation! I've got my final prediction for what happens tonight when the Dallas Cowboys get on the clock as well as a conversation about all the different possibilities.
You know what I love the most? The Cowboys don't really leak anymore. In the Jason Garrett days we knew a lot about what they wanted to do. In the McCarthy era your guess is as good as mine. So let's guess!
We're one day away from the 2024 NFL Draft. Let's look at what the evidence tells us that the Cowboys will likely do, but ALSO....
There are a few positions that aren't getting enough attention as potential premium picks for Dallas. We've gotta follow the Draft Commandments to know all the different possibilities.
Could it be a center in the first round? Got some thoughts on why Jackson Powers-Johnson, Graham Barton and Zach Frazier deserve your consideration.
The Dallas Cowboys have an offensive line that's in trouble and I hate that Jerry and Stephen Jones let it get here. The hole at left tackle and center leaves Dallas with not enough picks to get this thing right AND it stops them from being able to draft well if other positions slide to them.
The one potential solution? Tyler Smith could always play left tackle. I'll tell you why that's an awful idea and where we go from here.
A 3 pack of Cowboys nuggets for you today:
The 2024 NFL Draft is a pretty darn good one if you're looking for offensive line help. Here's my thoughts on the guys I'd love to see the Cowboys pick at 24, the guys I'd be ok with at 24, and the guys I'd like to see them move back or wait until the 2nd round for.
Some scouting reports and thoughts on:
If you're not new around here you might already know where this is headed, but the Cowboys have quite a few needs and not enough draft picks to fill them all.
They need a starting left tackle to replace Tyron Smith, a starting center to replace Tyler Biadasz, a starting running back to replace Tony Pollard. I also need guys to compete for snaps at defensive tackle, linebacker, cornerback and wide receiver.
The Trey Lance trade took away the Cowboys fourth round pick this year. I'd like to see them get one back and also add some more draft ammo. Let's go over the plan and the math.
I've been talked in to it. Let's start Mock Draft Szn. Using the Cowboys list of top 30 visitors, we can see with pretty good clarity what it is they plan to accomplish at the end of the month in the draft.
I'll take my first shot at mocking this thing for 3 rounds (but accidentally end up going 5).
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is reporting that Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys have mutual interest in having a reunion. Step in here and I'll tell you why I'm not a fan of the idea, plus how they SHOULD and likely will address the RB spot this offseason.
I've got 7 draft names to look at as potentially part of the Cowboys backfield next year.
Let's hit the Dallas Cowboys news of the day. Jerry Jones quotes at the owners meetings give us insight in to how he really feels about Mike McCarthy and what the plan is for the upcoming season.
Plus we've got new kickoff rules that are good for Dallas, and Jesse Holley's daring them to blow it all the way up.
That dang Jerry Jones is so good at saying words that then make us respond to his saying words. I hate it and I love it.
Today he's addressing again the idea of all in and showing he still has no idea what that combination of words means.
Dallas couldn't keep Tyron Smith because they couldn't afford it and if he reached all his incentives it would 'wreck them', according to Jerry. Lie.
Also let's take a glance at other teams with salary cap challenges and how they're spending this offseason. Spoiler alert, considerably more than the Cowboys are.
Everything the Dallas Cowboys have done so far this offseason points toward blowing this thing over the course of the next two years.....but do you buy that they're actually willing to do that? Move on from Dak Prescott and venture in to the unknown?
Maybe I'm giving them too much credit thinking they have an actual plan with how the offseason is going so far.
Let's check on their free agency scoreboard so far, welcome back Rico Dowdle, say goodbye to Tyron Smith and try and puzzle out just what Jerry and Stephen Jones are thinking right now.
The Dallas Cowboys restructured Dak Prescott's contract to save $4 million in salary cap space this year. Let's go through what the plan is with that money and how if factors in to whether they get a long term deal done with the QB.
Tyron Smith is off to the New York Jets and that makes me quite sad.
Plus a quick update on where the offseason stands in terms of needs and wants, and when the time comes to judge everything Dallas has done.
The Dallas Cowboys have agreed with LB Eric Kendricks to get him in here and help Mike Zimmer and his new defense.
We've got reports from Jane Slater that the team has eyeballs for AJ Dillon at the running back spot.
Plus Stephen Jones spoke today on their free agency philosophy, where they are with Dak Prescott, the Tyron Smith return dream not being dead yet and more.
Let's get through all the Cowboys news of the day.
Welcome to the third day of NFL free agency (or technically the first). Let's check in on the Cowboys doings and plans. That won't take long. Things we'll kick around today:
It's the opening day of NFL free agency and a grand total of ONE team has made zero moves. Care to guess who it is? Indeed, the Jones family is on spring break and 31 other teams have done something today.
Let's talk about their plan and the options they have to get better this offseason
The Cowboys are Derrick Henry haven't been linked strongly leading up to free agency but you should probably put it on your radar. There's interest, and it's very possible.
The Cowboys also have restructured the contract of Zack Martin to give themselves room to operate with the salary cap this year. Between that move, Dak Prescott, Tank Lawrence, Michael Gallup and Brandin Cooks, 2025 could be the year of the iceberg.
Come on in for all the details.
Is it possible that free agent RB Tony Pollard is going to be coming back to the Cowboys? Of course it is. Let's talk about how.
The Chargers have released LB Eric Kendricks who has big long ties to new DC Mike Zimmer. Should you be ready for him to make his way to Dallas? Probably. But there are a couple potential catches there.
Plus how the free agency market could dictate the Cowboys draft plans as well. Come on in!
Let's have a nice little evening live Cowboys chat. Bring your questions and let's talk about all the weird stuff that Jerry Jones said on the bus at the combine.
Cowboys free agency, draft plans, what to do with guys like Tyron Smith, Tyler Biadasz etc.
We've got Cowboy updates flying at us from the NFL Draft combine in Indianapolis. Let's talk about what we're learning about what Mike Zimmer wants in his defensive front seven, what Will McClay thinks about the players they're scouting in those spots and about the plan for Trey Lance with Dallas this season.
Also we know who the Cowboys are having their formal meetings with out in Indy and it's encouraging to me the position groups they're not afraid to take early.
Dallas Cowboys news of the day revolves around Mike Zimmer's contract which has been revealed to be a one year deal. Sounds like it's going to be an uncomfortable season in 2024.
The idea continues to be floated by beat writers that the Cowboys also might not extend Dak Prescott this offseason, opting instead to just restructure and push some of his money back again. Let's talk about what these things mean, and the likelihood that this is the last go 'round for Dakota and the Boys.
This is my first look at a complete free agency plan for the Dallas Cowboys to get them ready to draft.
They currently don't have a starter at left tackle, center or the third cornerback spot. What are we going to do about it? The depth and talent they have at linebacker and defensive tackle is definitely not enough to compete. We can fix that.
I'll give you the names and contracts to do it. Running back is also a spot that could use some addressing that we'll discuss.
Listen up Jerry Jones, I'm here to help!
We've got an article in the Dallas Morning News today from David Moore about Dak Prescott and what the Cowboys are thinking about his contract situation. It's widely assumed that Dak is going to get an extension to lower his salary cap number this year so they can be 'all in'.
If that happens Dak will likely be the highest paid player in the NFL. But David Moore is bringing back up an alternative to that. A different way to save some money against the cap without an extension.
How likely is it that the Cowboys will do it? And why is it in the public eye right now? I gotcha.
We've got a big ol' day of Dallas Cowboys content to get through today with Jeff Cavanaugh and former Cowboys WR Jesse Holley.
Today's Bleav in the Cowboys with Jeff Cavanaugh and Jesse Holley will focus on three key things:
Congrats to Dan Quinn on getting the head coaching gig in Washington. That might be a fun place to build something with new ownership and a new GM. But what you care about is the Cowboys.
So I'll run you through why I'm fine with Dan Quinn leaving and the names to know for who will be the Cowboys next defensive coordinator.
Jerry Jones used the words "all in" 5 times when talking to the media at the Senior Bowl yesterday. Let's talk about exactly what he means when he says that.
I have one takeaway for sure, and a few that are speculation. Jerry KNOWS that's what his fan base wants to hear about another disappointing season.
The actual translation of his words? Let's work though it.
I've got a 3 pack of Dallas Cowboys content for you today.
We've got a couple of nuggets on what the Cowboys plan to do to be able to add players this offseason. Todd Archer reports that they already plan to restructure the contracts of Zack Martin and Trevon Diggs. Martin is the more interesting one and I'll tell you why.
The Cowboys financials also demand the extension of Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb. We can walk through that as well.
The how and why of everything that the Dallas Cowboys are about to do.
I got a comment on a video the other day that was a really good point about a way I've failed at trying to get the Cowboys to build their football team.
What positions are the most valuable and what does it mean for how you put together a roster? Run stopping, linebackers, running backs, the 'least valuable' positions still matter.
How the Cowboys offseason needs to be geared to correcting these things and what lessons we can learn from the 49ers, Lions, Chiefs and Ravens.
Happy Wednesday!
This week's Bleav in the Cowboys we get Jesse Holley's reactions to Mike McCarthy sticking around, questions and concerns about Dan Quinn's defense and a look at the storylines being generated by family members of ALL THE BEST COWBOY PLAYERS.
Come on down Prescott, Lamb and Parsons families.
Let's zoom on out and take a look at exactly where the Cowboys are with their roster and what needs have to be addressed this offseason.
That will include conversations about Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and a bunch of the other big names.
But also which free agents do they need to prioritize bringing back? And how do we fix up the groups that are shorthanded at the moment?
Let's get ready for draft and FA season!
Jerry Jones kept Mike McCarthy around for the last year of his contract.
At the moment, Dak Prescott is in the final year of his too.
Wanna go all in for 2024? I can show you exactly what that looks like.
We can also talk about CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons families having fun on the internet.
The Cowboys have announced that Mike McCarthy is going to captain the ship again this season. A lot of people aren't going to like that. And that's ok.
Why Jerry Jones made this decision and how it looks for Mike going in to 2024.
Plus what's going to happen with Dak Prescott and Dan Quinn this offseason.
Another day removed from the Cowboys terrible end of the season at the hands of Green Bay, I'd like to walk through where they are with Mike McCarthy and Dan Quinn, and the possibility that no change at all is their best chance going forward.
If you hate that, the three names to know for Cowboys head coach are here as well. Dan Quinn has a lot of interviews lined up, let's talk about the complexity of evaluating the job he's done.
Finally, before that game it was a foregone conclusion that Dak Prescott would sign a contract extension this offseason. Now? Let's talk about it.
The Packers destroyed the Cowboys and ended the season that was Dallas' best chance in a long time at reaching an NFC title game. Home field meant nothing, they got outplayed and outcoached all over the place. Join Jeff Cavanaugh and Jesse Holley as we break down:

Join Jeff Cavanaugh and Jesse Holley as we preview the Cowboys hosting the Detroit Lions tomorrow evening. We'll give you the reasons that the Cowboys are going to get back on track this week plus conversations on: - Tyron Smith and his availability. It sounds like he will be a go, is that the right decision?

The Cowboys went on the road and got destroyed by the Buffalo Bills and they didn't even need Josh Allen to do it. Join Jeff Cavanaugh and Jesse Holley working through the red flags from the Cowboys in this game.
There are a couple of ways I like to measure how good an NFL team is at any given point and I'd like to walk you through them. What we have here is evidence that the Dallas Cowboys are absolutely good enough to win a Super Bowl. You know this is coming though. BUT.....
Their biggest challenge is something we'll navigate through here.
Plus a preview of Cowboys-Commanders tomorrow. Washington is not Carolina or New York. They can be feisty.
Let's run through the latest batch of Cowboys news: Micah Parsons was frustrated by his 'lack of impact' against the Giants and DC Dan Quinn had to address it this week.
We've now heard from Micah and we're gonna be ok everybody.
Mike McCarthy is being asked if Rico Dowdle should get more carries and I have thoughts.
Plus they signed a new defensive tackle! What you need to know about Carl Davis.
Martavis Bryant is making his NFL return after being reinstated recently. And guess who is swooping in to make them move? Of course it's the Dallas Cowboys! Let's talk about the why and what to expect.
And then we ended up with a mailbag whirlwind talking about Terence Steele, Tony Pollard and the running game, Mazi Smith and Luke Schoonmaker and all the other topics of the Cowboys day.
Jeff Cavanaugh and Jesse Holley previewing the Cowboys and Eagles this Sunday.
A big day for the Cowboys offensive line vs Jalen Carter, Josh Sweat, Haason Reddick and company.
Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb vs an Eagles secondary that has had it's struggles this year.
Dan Quinn, Micah Parsons and friends will have their hands full both schematically and with some of their matchups.
How does it play out? Let's talk about it.
42-10 against the 49ers leads to the first legitimate Dak Prescott discussion in a long time. Can this thing ultimately work? In a league with the superhero QBs and the genius offensive minds, can Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott really expect to win the whole thing? And if not.......
CeeDee Lamb is frustrated and he SHOULD be. The numbers tell you that he needs to be targeted way more than he has been this year.
What about this defense? That was supposed to be a given. And so far? Dan Quinn and his crew have a lot of work to do.
Thanks to everyone for helping with the Dallas Cowboys mailbag today. Let me hit you with some thoughts about the Cowboys in the red zone and why we don't need to worry about it.
The Cowboys smoked the Jets 30-10 and appear to be the best team in the NFL as of today. Let's talk about all the things we're learning including....
I've got a few nuggets on a handful of Dallas Cowboys players after the dismantling of the Giants on Sunday.
How good was Tyron Smith in the season debut? I've got a stat that will tell you.
Tony Pollard on his return from injury? Same thing.
Dak Prescott didn't need to do a whole lot but based on what we did see, be encouraged.
Plus the Cowboys probably have the best cornerback group in the NFL with Trevon Diggs, Stephon Gilmore and DaRon Bland. The numbers back it up on a couple of these guys.
A few things I've learned while taking in Cowboys vs Seahawks in week two of the preseason.
A few quick takeaways from Cowboys vs Jaguars yesterday including:
Got a few questions from the people to answer plus some thoughts on the Zack Martin situation, Cowboys biggest offensive challenge to address, the RB group behind Tony Pollard + your live questions
Let's have a chat about the things happening at Cowboys camp that matter and the things that don't.
Things that do:
Things that don't: Come on in I'll tell ya.
Jon Machota on The Athletic released his yearly Cowboys fan survey. Let's go through a bunch of topics including:
Which young Dallas Cowboys player taking a jump in development would be the best for the teams chances at a Super Bowl? We've got 3 candidates to run by you.
The chase for the 4th WR spot is on and we'll talk about Simi Fehoko and Jalen Tolbert. Plus how Brandin Cooks helps with both.
And just a quick little something on DeAndre Hopkins and why I still want the Cowboys to do it, even knowing they won't.
I'd like to ponder the question of if the Cowboys have overreacted to a single playoff game to SF in this offseason. And if they did, did they view it in the right way?
Let's compare Kellen Moore and Brian Schottenheimer as offensive coordinators, discuss Mike McCarthy the playcaller and the likelihood of a backwards slide for Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys offense.
Also a look at the basic routes Brian Schottenheimer offenses like to run and why I like the fit for new second round pick Luke Schoonmaker.
In today's edition of Bleav in Cowboys, Jeff Cavanaugh and former Cowboys WR Jesse Holley cover the only three things that matter today.
Micah Parsons putting on some weight and announcing he's a full time defensive end. Love it.
AJ Brown firing shots at CeeDee Lamb that aren't even accurate.
What this draft class tells us about Dan Quinn.
Happy draft week! Let’s chat about the Cowboys and where I might have screwed up my mock drafts.
This offensive line needs some reinforcements and it makes for an interesting conundrum.
I want a WR, a TE, an OL, a LB and a DT. And I can't have them all. Let's try to sort it out.
This is my last run at trying to predict what the Cowboys are thinking and what they'll do in the 2023 NFL Draft.
I'll also follow it up with one last crack at how I personally would draft things so we can have fun twice.
Will Bijan Robinson be available and if so will the Cowboys take him? How about Michael Mayer?
Which positions do they want to target in the first 3-4 rounds? Let's go through and and find out.
I'm going to give you the three players I think have the best chance of hearing their names called as the Cowboys first round pick at #26.
I'll also sneak in the three guys that I WANT to hear them pick in the first and take some questions.
I did a little research project and it led me to the conclusion I do NOT want the Cowboys to take Michael Mayer out of Notre Dame in the first round of the draft. For once I actually have evidence I'm going to bring to the table!
The Cowboys could use a tight end to add. It's a nice draft class to do it in. Michael Mayer at the 26th pick just isn't the one.
Todd McShay released his ranking of NFL Draft prospects for the 2023 NFL Draft via the tier system. I really enjoyed looking at it that way. So I've converted my grading in to a similar way to view the Cowboys process that I'd like to share with you all.
Scenarios for the Cowboys to stay put and pick, plus what would lead you to want to trade up or down. It's all right there in your rankings and pretty hard to mess up honestly.
Let's do 500 Cowboys mock drafts and talk about what they need, what they should do, what they will do, and all that jazz.
Come on in and let's do some mocking.
We've got new mock drafts from three guys whose opinions I respect in the NFL Draft game. Lance Zeirlein, Pete Prisco and Todd McShay.
Let's do some quick analysis on the players they gave to the Cowboys and then I'll run a quick two round mock of my own.
As of March 27th according to Jerry Jones, Tyron Smith is a right tackle, Tyler Smith is a left tackle and Terence Steele is a backup.
That makes no damn sense to me and we'll walk through it and talk about Cowboys FA and draft things.
Oh and then it turned in to a mock draft party on accident.
The Cowboys are continuing to kick butt and be aggressive this offseason plugging holes to get ready and draft the best players. RB Ronald Jones signed today along with OL Chuma Edoga. Add that to Stefon Gilmore and Brandin Cooks and we'll kick around what is next.
Plus my latest 3 round Cowboys mock draft now that they're freed up to draft the best available players is FUN!
The Cowboys made a great trade going and getting Stephon Gilmore to help out their CB situation. Bringing back LVE and Dono also gets a thumbs up from me.
Let's move forward from there and hit the next steps including a little 3 round mock draft at the end of this video!
Get on in here it's legal tampering NFL Free Agency day! What are the Cowboys up to? Spoiler alert, not much.
But we do know some of their plan and how they feel about Odell Beckham plus we can talk about the Cowboys and their draft needs.
Stephen Jones was out there talking at the NFL Scouting Combine and I'll give you the important stuff and what we can read in to it. Notes on the future of Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard, Dalton Schultz, Tyron Smith. Also the answers to some draft questions and what the Cowboys are going to do at left guard, running back and receiver.
Jump on in here and let's do a 3 round mock draft for the Dallas Cowboys. I may end up doing more than one because I do way too many mock drafts.
I'm looking for wide receivers, corners, offensive line and who knows what else. Let's have some fun fixing this team!
We ended up with three VERY different looking drafts. Including names like Bijan Robinson, Jalin Hyatt and Darnell Washington.
As we continue watching the tape to get ready for the 2023 NFL Draft I'm up to 8 players at the cornerback spot that I have scouted and ranked.
I'll walk you through who they are, where they might be drafted and how many I'm comfortable with the Cowboys picking at #26 overall.
Players scouted here: Christian Gonzalez, Cam Smith, Devon Witherspoon, Kelee Ringo, Joey Porter Jr, Deonte Banks, Emmanuel Forbes, Clark Phillips III.
Warning: this is pulled from my youtube channel and without the video aspect I may not do a great job of explaining what we're looking at all the time.
If you follow this channel you probably know I do way too many mock draft because why not!?
This will be two different cracks at a 3 round mock draft for the Cowboys based on the players I've studied in the 2023 NFL Draft so far.
Disclaimer: I'm only about 35-40 players in to this thing. By next week that number will be more like 60-80 and I'll have a better handle on all the positions. But enjoy the mayhem!
Wanted to get some draft content to you guys today before I sneak a stream in in the next day or two. Names at WR that fit what the Cowboys need in their group? Let's start with TCU's Quentin Johnston and go from there. Can you pick a RB in the first round? The Bijan Robinson debate continues. Plus bigger need, WR or CB?
In this version of Scoutkast we'll of course be talking about the Cowboys draft and today's focus is on the pass rushers in the 2023 class.
It's a good group and I've got a couple of names I don't think are being talked about highly enough.
Let's spitball some Cowboys draft and offseason talk. I've got my eyes on a certain wide receiver that would fit what Mike McCarthy wants to do pretty darn well. Let's talk Michael Thomas.
Oh and it's me, the running back hater that wants Bijan Robinson to make it to the 26th pick so the Cowboys can scoop him up.
Welcome to the debut of whatever you'd like to call me talking NFL Draft with Dave Helman of Fox Sports. Trust the Tape? Plug & Play? Something or other.
Wide receivers to help CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott.
Running backs to replace(?) Zeke and/or Tony Pollard.
All the things.
Everything that mattered in the Cowboys-Commanders game including:
I've got a fun chart showing just how good CeeDee Lamb has been in his first year as WR1 for the Dallas Cowboys. Plus tons of questions from you guys on:
A couple of notes coming out of the loss to the Jaguars including how to handle Micah Parsons, surviving at CB with injuries, status of LVE etc.
Cowboys and Odell Beckham are teetering on the brink and Jerry Jones and the team are up to their old tricks.
Also talk about Cowboys CB group and what to expect from Kelvin Joseph, stuff on Tyler and Tyron Smith, what else we're on the prowl for to improve the team and all sorts of questions from you guys!
Answering your questions from Twitter (where you can find me @timeforjeffrey) about the Dallas Cowboys including:
Thanks to everyone for your Cowboys questions on my Facebook page and here they all are with my answers and analysis.
I told Jerry Jones we needed to add two things to this thing with the NFC down and attainable this year. A big girthy man up the middle and a wide receiver to pair with CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup. Johnathan Hankins was our big man, Odell Beckham may be our wide receiver according to reports. Let's party about it.
The Cowboys tried to get a deal done for Houston Texans WR Brandin Cooks and weren't able to get it done. That stings a little bit for two different reasons that I'll share with you.
And now we all turn our eyeballs to the guy you would NOT have to trade for in order to add him to your team. May we all glance toward Odell Beckham Jr as a potential Cowboy.
The Cowboys traded for Johnathan Hankins, then the Eagles traded for Robert Quinn.
Hankins is a getting older run stopper than can still help you out a little bit. Quinn is a stud pass rusher and the Eagles only gave up a 4th round pick! How is this possible? Well, there's a catch.
I'm here to help.
We've got conflicting reports on Ezekiel Elliott's knee although it's absolutely possible he does not play this week to rest the banged up part of his body, couple different reports from Clarence Hill and Michael Gehlken.
Cowboys 5th round draft pick Damone Clark is being activated, what that means for the linebacker room of the 'Boys.
Thoughts on Dak's return, Micah Parsons not being human, and everything else we learned from the Cowboys beating the Lions 24-6.
My plea to the Cowboys to please trade for Derrick Brown from the Carolina Panthers to solve their run defense problems in one step. Plus we'll set the expectations for Dak Prescott and the offense + Micah Parsons and the defense as they take on Detroit this weekend.
The Cowboys lost and it's not a big deal. They're showing you that they're good at everything except QB and that man is on the way. Dak Prescott's return is on the horizon and it's about to get fun.
A couple of nuggets about Dak Prescott who practiced today, and Jason Peters who appears to be ready to get back out there Sunday night when the Cowboys take the field against the Philadelphia Eagles.
How this defense stacks up in a metric I truly enjoy and the most impressive part of what Micah Parsons, Tank Lawrence, Dorance Armstrong etc are doing.
Hey guys this Cowboys team might be pretty good. 4-1 with Philadelphia on deck and Dak Prescott being close to returning. Micah Parsons, still not human.
Join me as I lay out a couple of the reasons I'm VERY encouraged by the first weeks of football from both CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs and also dip in to what to watch for when the Cowboys and Rams get together on Sunday.
Why Micah Parsons could be in for another big day, what to do about Matt Stafford and Cooper Kupp, and what's going to give for the Cowboys run defense.
Cowboys on the couch with what I believe is the most realistic take on Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush, what a wonderful defense this is, and you may AMA about the new radio venture on 97.1 The Freak.
Another weekend and another win for Cooper Rush and the Cowboys. What it means for Rush and Dak Prescott, and how good is this team?
Myself and a lot of other folks (probably YOU included) thought the Cowboys made some really bad decisions this offseason when they let Amari Cooper and La'el Collins go, lost Randy Gregory etc.
Three weeks in to this thing, do we give Jerry and Stephen Jones credit for being.....not dummies?
Hey look at that the Cowboys beat the Giants. Cooper Rush playing well in place of Dak Prescott, Tank Lawrence showing up, lots to talk about!
Allow me to correct my lies to you from early. Expectations were that Michael Gallup was going to play this week against the Giants but he will not. Jason Peters is a go but not at offensive tackle, according to reports. Plus Jalen Tolbert and your questions.
All things Cowboys including a couple of absurd stats on Micah Parsons and the imminent return of Michael Gallup.
The very latest Cowboys news and how it leads to 2nd round pick Sam Williams need to step up in a larger role. Plus the good and bad of playing against Joe Burrow. And many more questions from you guys.
Dak Prescott may be back way earlier than expected according to Jerry Jones. Plus the when and where for Jason Peters in the near future.
The Bucs beat the Cowboys 19-3, Dak Prescott and Jayron Kearse are hurt, Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones plans look like they were terrible plans. But let's talk about it.
Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan, one of the best in the business has put out the thought that Cowboys 3rd round pick Jalen Tolbert maybe inactive against the Bucs with Simi Fehoko and Dennis Houston playing. Should you be mad, disappointed, sad etc? I'll lay out my thoughts.
Dak Prescott limited it practice with an ‘ankle’ situation. Yes, that ankle. Let me yell at my QB for a second. Plus Michael Gallup in pads, what it means.
Michael Gallup took part in individual practice today for the first time, we've got some clarity on Jourdan Lewis' availability for Sunday night and a 2nd year player to keep an eye on.
Plus my initial thoughts on Cowboys - Bucs matchup and what to watch for.
I just need you all to know this. Sean Payton with Kay Adams today was step one of the Mike McCarthy setup. Jerry Jones is loving it and I’m annoyed. Plus why he probably won’t be the next head coach anyway.
Jerry Jones was on The Fan today and a couple of things he said about Jason Peters and Michael Gallup have me interested.
Let's get a realistic timeline on Gallup, and when we will see Jason Peters on the field.
Starting at 9:00 is position groups I'm most interested in heading in to the season.
Please do not click this if you're looking for hardcore Cowboys content. This is literally just myself and my friend Dave Helman from Fox Sports talking about the Rings of Power show because we enjoy Tolkien stuff. Please don't hate me for using a platform I built on the Cowboys to do this either. LFG Galadriel.
The Cowboys did a good thing! I'm terrified of this offensive line but they've signed Jason Peters and that's going to make things at least a little better. Eventually. What it means for Tyler Smith and the rest of the guys.
Todd Archer is reporting that Jason Peters is going to visit the Dallas Cowboys to which we should all say, absolutely yes please. Plus some quick hits on Noah Brown, Jalen Tolbert and Cowboys WRs.
The Cowboys real 53 man roster and plan for how they will start the regular season is now coming in to view. What their plan is at backup QB and on special teams, the long term future of the RB position, plus news from around the division with the Eagles trade of Jalen Reagor vs how the Cowboys handled Amari Cooper.
The Cowboys have cut the squad down to their 'final' 53 although it's not REALLY the final 53. But let's talk about what it looks like they're doing, what surprises we have, and how the Cowboys are tricking this thing up a little bit.
Let’s talk about the Cowboys preseason finale and the guys who stood out the most, including notes on Sam Williams, DaRon Bland, Jake Ferguson, Josh Ball and more.
According to Ian and Schefty and Archer, Tyron Smith is going to miss at least 'multiple months' of the season after pulling a hamstring off the bone.
How disastrous is this for Dallas and what is their next move? Come on in let's cry together.
Last night's Cowboys practice has some cool takeaways including what we might be about to see from Micah Parsons. And the announcement he made that I don't like.
Plus the rookie who really needed a great practice and got one, the offensive lineman who is back, Tyler Smith is out, DaRon Bland running with the first team and on and on.
What is the plan for the Cowboys starters in preseason week three, plus the Cowboys roster moves of the day and what it means for other guys trying to make the squad.
I'm going to take my shot at projecting a 53 man roster for the Dallas Cowboys that is sure to be wrong but hey why not? Follow along with me and let me know where you think I've screwed it up.
Let's knock out the takeaways from the Cowboys and Chargers preseason game with notes on all sorts of things including:
The Cowboys and Chargers held a joint practice for the second straight day and I've got the takeaways you need from it packed in to just a few minutes, followed by your questions.
We've got notes on:
Plus your questions.
The Cowboys practiced with the LA Chargers today. How the Cowboys offense did against LA's defense and vice versa. Micah Parsons isn't human, CeeDee Lamb injury update, Cowboys offensive line bounces back + more notes.
I asked for questions from the people and the people have delivered. Dicker the kicker is available, how viable a threat are the Eagles to the Cowboys, what they could still do with their cap space and more.
Comparing how other contenders dealt with losing top receiving options this offseason to how the Cowboys have done it makes me think the Cowboys are.......overconfident about what unproven commodities can do.
The Cowboys lost to the Broncos 17-7 in their preseason opener. That doesn't matter. How individual players performed is worth noting so here are my winners and losers including a bunch of the Cowboys rookies.
Let me hit you with a couple of takeaways I have after watching the Cowboys and Broncos joint practice. A couple good, a couple bad and a friendly reminder that it's still just one practice before a single preseason game has been played.
Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb sure looks fun though!
It’s a Cowboys backyard ask me anything featuring Tony Pollard talk, how the defense can be even better than last year and whatever else YOU want to ask. If you love the channel and want to support the content one way is on Venmo at @Jeff-Cavanaugh-1
The Cowboys have released their unofficial first depth chart, let's take a peek and see if there's anything worth learning.
Also bring your questions and let's have a Cowboys party.
It's a Cowboys ask me anything with some questions already prepared from you guys on Twitter. It might not be popular but I have some credit to give to Kellen Moore, which position group is most important to the outcome of the season, how good is Jayron Kearse, who is fighting for a roster spot etc etc.
My final video from Oxnard before heading home.
A list of the guys I've been pleasantly surprised by and the guys who have been disappointing in camp so far.
Come on in!
Full practice report for Thursday 8/4:
Updates on the newest Cowboy Anthony Barr in terms of health and his role, plus Jabril Cox possible cause for concern and four names to watch if the Cowboys want to upgrade their wide receiver group.
As promised I watched the tape on Cowboys first round pick Tyler Smith from the last couple days of padded practice and I’ll fill you in on my takeaway which in short is, he’s looking good.
Plus whatever questions you have!
Also some notes on Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys wide receiver situation and lots more.
Cowboys second day of practice in pads is in the books. I’ve got everyone who shined (including Tony Pollard), everyone who struggled (including the OL) and some names you need to know (including Dennis Houston).
The Cowboys completed their first day in pads today and you're going to love who was the star of the show. It's also making the Cowboys decisions not to fortify certain position groups look pretty bad. Come on in, smash the like button and bring your questions.
We’ve got interesting notes on Tyler Smith, CeeDee Lamb, Jabril Cox and TJ Vasher coming out of the Mike McCarthy presser just now.

Plus TONS of listener questions answered. A very good Cowboys fix for you.
All sorts of Cowboy things to discuss as we're a week from training camp including if they should still be looking to upgrade the wide receiver group, the young players I expect to impress, and your questions!
Please smash that like button and leave in the comments the young Cowboy you're expecting to light up camp.
The Cowboys have signed former Longhorn LB Malik Jefferson according to Mike Fisher. That's not necessarily a big signing or even a guarantee to make the Cowboys roster.
There are however other names still out there that the Cowboys SHOULD be interested in, including Julio Jones and Will Fuller.
What will Cowboys rookie WR Jalen Tolbert's stat line look like this year?
Will Tony Pollard eat in to the Ezekiel Elliott touches?
If not, how else can the Cowboys get him involved?
Cowboys position camp battles to look forward to plus the position group the worries me the most.
Fun little nugget from Pro Football Focus on Michael Gallup and why he deserves his flowers.

We'll talk about some of that, Dalton Schultz trade possibilities and the key to the Cowboys secondary.
Dalton Schultz will be a no show for Cowboys OTAs this week. The franchise tagged tight end is hoping to get a long term deal done and talks appear to have stalled.
What it means and how it will end is what I've got for you, plus your questions.
Bring your questions and let's talk about what the Cowboys can or will do with the extra cap space they're about to have, plus a public service announcement to stop letting national guys draw you offsides talking about Dak Prescott.
Full recap of today's Cowboys OTAs including some interesting nuggets involving Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, Zeke and Pollard sharing a backfield, and of course standard Tyron Smith freak out time.

The Cowboys lost at home to the Cardinals and we need to talk about four ‘alarming’ aspects of it.
Dak Prescott and his struggles, how many alarms is that fire?
Trevon Diggs has now given up over 1000 yards this season.
Kellen Moore and Dak aren’t getting CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper the ball enough.
The penalties on the offensive line killed 3 straight drives for the offense. How many alarms are those fires?

Kurt Warner did a great film study of the Cowboys offense against the Saints to show us where Dak Prescott could improve or make changes in his game. I'd like to take that study and give you my conclusions about what's going on with this offense and the REAL secret to getting it back on track.
The Cowboys offensive line has some culpability, Kellen Moore has some culpability, as do the receivers and of course the QB. The answer is never simple, but we can make it easy to understand.

A double digit win on the road is a good thing. We aren't going fire and brimstone about a W that takes you to 8-4 on the season BUT Today I want to focus on things on the team you're concerned about. Not a player having a bad game, but something I'm seeing consistently that I'm ACTUALLY somewhat concerned about. And it pertains to the golden boy Kellen Moore and how they can't run the fooball and why. I see a lot of people concerned about Dak Prescott too. I'm not. I'll tell you why.
