Join me, Rachel Bell, National Chair for Women in Property, as I speak to trailblazers and pioneers about their Stand Tall moments, and how those moments have shaped their journey through life.Stand Tall is my mantra and it’s served me well. When I’ve had to step into a new situation or face up to a fear, Stand Tall has reminded me I can do it. And it’s not just something I can do. Stand Tall is about supporting and encouraging others to step outside of their comfort zone and try something which they may have feared doing. The Women in Property network is an incredible community and a meaningful space to share experiences and I hope this podcast provides some insights into how others, who are trailblazing and standing tall in their own way, have got to that point.
Kate is passionate about balancing long term charitable giving with opportunities for growth via tourism and adventure. In this final episode of season one we talk about lessons of perseverance and resilience, long term investment in communities, just getting (sh)it done and finding the “magic and tingle” in new experiences.

For the last 21 years Chris had led igloo Regeneration, an ethical property developer and the UK’s first real estate B Corp, to deliver some of the most recognised, impact-driven schemes in the UK. Throughout 2021, Chris was a UK Built Environment Climate Ambassador to COP26.
In this episode we talk about purpose and B Corp, his role at COP26 and the actions we all need to take before COP27, making a big difference through the work we do and embracing altruism.

Annie is a Building Physicist at Hydrock and a passionate advocate of climate-positive engineering. Katie McManus is a Graduate Surveyor at HBD and winner of the 2018 Women in Property National Student Awards.
