But we talk briefly about a specific part of the diaper changing process that I encountered this week and what it taught me about my present and future relationship with my son. This was a very relevant and impactful lesson that I learned recently in my own journey of fatherhood.
I hope that this short segment helps at least one person out there on their journey of fatherhood or anyone who can benefit from the content.

It was definitely our pleasure to have the opportunity to sit down with this astonishing Father of 2.
In this next episode, our friend, Dylan Syms, talks us through his difficult childhood and the levels of abuse that he witnessed and experienced.
What we love most about Dylan is the sense of gratitude that he is able to pull out from beneath the heavy burden of his childhood experiences in order to bring light to the surface of his life today and his role as a Father.
We can all learn from Dylan and many others out there who seek to re-write their own history for the better of the ones who will come after them.

Shout out to Eloy Rodriguez for making the time to share his fatherhood perspective and experience on our channel. In this episode, we talk to Eloy about the life threatening heart condition that his first-born son endured and how he and his wife Lexy overcame the immediate struggles their family faced. Fatherhood is not an easy journey and, in a situation like this, many of us might not see ourselves as having the strength to get through. Eloy's story about his faith in God and his wife's demonstration of faith through these tough times is nothing less than an inspiration to all of us (huge shoutout to Lexy Rodriguez for her strength as a mother!). Eloy is now a father of 4 amazing kids including a step-son that he is extremely proud of as well as a dedicated husband. Eloy is the owner of a barbershop and studio in his hometown and has big plans to serve his community in other ways as well. Eloy, thank you for your commitment to fatherhood and the positive presence that you are exemplifying to the fatherhood community. What's up family! In this week's SOLO Segment we Speak Out Loud Over the benefit of being selfish and selfless as a father, father-figure, or as someone who fills the fatherhood role. What does that look like for you? Simply put, it means that we need to do our best as FATHERS and FATHER FIGURES to put ourselves first. Applying focus to our mental health and making an effort to do those things that foster positive emotions in us should be a priority at the beginning of every new day. WHY THOUGH? We NEED to do this in order to give our BEST selves over to our children, our wives/significant others, our families, friends, and etc. Make sure your light shines first so that you can spread and share that light with others, especially the ones you love. "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven"- Matthew 5:16 (NIV) As always, thanks for being here😁

We are very thankful to have had a great father and uncle on this week as Angel Cotto talks to us about the importance of fathering and setting a positive example as an uncle. Angel is a 16 year veteran of Cook County Jail in Chicago, IL and shares his perspective on the importance of the physical presence of fatherhood. He also gives us some great insight reasons why he made the CHOICE to be present and to KNOW his kids and have his kids KNOW him. Once again we were VERY excited about this interview.
This week we spoke to Sergeant Roberto Arce, an outstanding individual that I had the privilege of deploying with back in 2018.
Fatherhood has its challenges but, in this weeks interview, we had the opportunity to hear Roberto's perspective on deploying to Afghanistan only months after his first child was born and the ways in which that experience has positively contributed to his experience of fatherhood.
