How do things change when the wife is the one making more money, or making ALL the money? What Do you think changes?
And WHY do those things change? Is it because of the wife, or the husband, or both? Or is it due to external pressures and expectations?
Do we expect a level of humility from women with money, that we don’t expect from men with money?
Is there an extra level of subservience we expect from women to their husbands that we don’t expect from men to their wives?
Now I’m not saying anyone should lord it over anyone. Not husbands, and not wives. But I’m just asking: when it happens, do we shout more about wives doing it, than we do about husbands doing it? And if so, why?
