In this episode, Britton Esposito, La Huesera (The Bone Woman) brings us home to Chicago (virtually) for the final interview of the season with Veronica Rottman, her long distance soul sister, fellow yoga teacher, doula, and practitioner of other womb-related healing services.  The two converse about the importance of empowering and healing oneself through the sacred act of (menstral) cycle syncing and childbirth (well, bleeding) through storytelling and normalizing. During a year when we were all encouraged to turn inwardly, both women speak about the importance of shifting society from a masculine outwardly driven energy to one that also integrates an inwardly turning, more intuitive, feminine energy.  By doing so, they agree, we will create new positive experiences and associations with our bodies and our planet and free ourselves of pain.  This interview is an invitation and a portal, just like to womb, to step into our power, the creative power of the Sacred Feminine.

In this Foot(bone)notes episode, La Huesera (Britton Esposito) gives a summary of parallel Spanish episode (see La Huesera Podcast: Espanol) with guest, Daiana Chivel (body therapist and other herbs). La Huesera invites her Pod tribe (listeners) nourish themselves with contact at a time when physical contact is complicated. This episode is a sweet caress for all who miss touch and specifically for parents and infant caregivers seeking to communicate and connect with a simple act (infant massage). Nutritious Contact softens the challenge of being born or giving birth in the Pandemic of 2020 and also offers a philosophy of life in which we can be better contact with our bodies and the world around us. For those who are not parenting at this time, the episode is also an invitation to connect with the simple things of life and with pleasure. If you come from Argentina, or another culture where contact used to be as normal as breathing, do not miss this episode.

LA HUESERA (the bone woman), Britton Esposito, health worker, introduces herself and gives an exciting synthesis of what to expect in the first season of her new show. In this brief first episode, recorded from her home during the 2020 lockdown in her husband´s (Christian Fresno, producer) home studio, she explains why she decided to begin this project: to share with the collective whole conversations with other healthcare workers and healers that have marked her own path in healing. She had her own awakening with her body after a spinal injury that led her to move across the world (from the USA to Argentina) and delve into the health, wellness and medicinal studies, including Osteopathy, meditation, yoga and more.   She now wishes to provide a service to humanity, connect with her tribe, and awaken in each listener a deeper listening of his, her or their own life force and the body's ability to heal.  As often as possible, the episodes will be recorded and released bilingually (English and Spanish) on two parallel channels (see La Huesera Podcast: en Español). This way, she hopes it will serve as a bridge between cultures and their different ways of treating and dealing with wellness. This Podcast is one of the jewels born of the 2020 pandemic, and will deeply and joyously move you to the bones.
