So, stop me if you've heard this one before....the Chiefs go ten points down in the biggest game of the year, and then...
As much as the formula of the Chiefs relying on gutsy play calling to overturn a ten point deficit was something we have seen before, and even though the opponents the 49ers have been a part of those storylines...something was different this Sunday, and is centres around the word 'Dynasty'.
With win number three in five years the Chiefs were the first team to go back-to-back since Brady in New England at the turn of the new millennium, but although there are many similarities to the Patriots team then, the guys start to discuss if we may only be 12 months away from the Chiefs achieving something that no team could compare to....could they three-peat?
So there's all of this, plus the usual chatter - and a super special 'No Google All Noodle' too.

In the world of sports it genuinely doesn't get any bigger than this. In a nation where most sports seasons finish with the best two teams facing off in a series of games, the NFL doesn't follow the formula used by Basketball, Hockey or Baseball - and instead takes care of its business in a single night.
And in the big one this year are familiar faces, but new storylines. On the Chiefs side you have Patrick Mahomes bidding for 3 titles before he hits 30, whereas as his Coach Andy Reid has gone from being the guy who couldn't get over the line for the majority of his career, to a Coach who might just end it with the Lombardi raised high in the air and etch his name into the history books yet again.
On the other side with the 49ers, is it now the turn of Coach Shanahan to take the mantle of nearly-man? Or can he avenge the defeat to the Chiefs a few years ago with Purdy and CMC added to the ranks?
All this will be broken down and considered by the greatest amongst sports podcasts.

Thanksgiving Week, a week for family....and football.
One of the most famous sporting weeks on the calendar has a lot to live up to after the drama so far this season, but the guys feel you don't have to look far to find fascinating storylines in Week 12.
Among them we see the surging Broncos face off against the Browns. While the Broncos are improving, we are all waiting to see if Cleveland are still a Playoff contender having lost QB Deshaun Watson for the year. A big factor for the Browns is the play of Myles Garrett. The biggest, fastest and most disruptive defender in football has together an amazing body of work this season and has put the team on his shoulders in recent weeks - so much so that one member of this pod thinks those shoulders will find themselves immortalized in bronze in Canton as a result!

An odd episode feels somehow fitting to talk through the NFL's oddest week. While the strong teams fell and others climbed from the canvas, you get the feeling it could go to the wire to see just who gets to contest play off football.

On Sunday the Chiefs lifted the Lombardi and sent Patrick Mahomes back off to Disneyland and in doing so concluded one of the most entertaining seasons in living memory for football fans.

If the Eagles weren’t your choice heading into the season, don’t worry, you were not alone….but once the season got going it seemed for a long stretch like Philly were the NFC’s Team to Beat and with good reason. Explosive Offense, Violent Defence and a cast of players all playing at such a high level that kids were spoilt for choice when rushed to buy a replica jersey. The season’s surprise package are just one game away.
On the AFC side, well, maybe things were a little more predictable, the Chiefs after all are always there-or-there-abouts. The question now is can is whether Kansas can go all the way and add a another Lombardi to the Hall of Fame resumes of Mahomes, Kelce and Reid?

Super Wildcard Weekend may be an odd new name to get used to for seasoned NFL fans, but this year at least it lived up to that hype!

Week 1 is almost always unpredictable, so how on earth can we be reeling from so many shocks!

Week 2 was the week the NFL returned to normal, the shocks of Week 1 were absent and those pre-season favourites lit up the scoreboard.
No where was this more evident than in Green Bay as the Packers took centre stage. Whether it was Rodgers or Jones, the Aaron's in Lambeau entertained once more. But in Week 3, the Fearsome Foursome are torn....which Green Bay will run out against the 9ers? Are the Packers one of a few teams ready to make Aa-run for the playoffs, or is it just a case of any team being capable to taming Lions?
