Well Sox fans, we survived the worst losing streak in franchise history. What new lows can this team achieve? We talk about trading Crochet or Robert before the deadline. We talk Josh Gibson taking the top spot on MLB career and season leaderboards. I give a quick recap of the White Sox Garage Sale. And don't forget to write in our veteran pitch framer Martin Maldonado five times a day for the All Star Game.
The Chicago White Sox are 6-22 but undefeated in the Tommy Pham era. We found our latest rent-a-hero. We talk about expectations versus reality and how the team responded to a lifeless offense. After that the focus shifts to some of the organizations youths as the Barons roster tears up AA. We hit on some classic material like Jerry being a cheap a$$.
Well, well, well. It's Opening Day and the Sox are in first place in the AL Central at 0-0. We go over the opening day roster release highlighting our top five hitters. We have some hopes for the pitching staff but are a bit sheepish on their stamina. Don lays out a portfolio of AAA to F- bets to look at for MLB and the Sox.
The White Sox have traded starter Dylan Cease for a prospect pack from the Padres. We discuss the returns and if the Sox dropped the ball here. Is Luis Robert next? Well, we thought we were garbage enough. Chris Getz had further designs on the torture of Chicago White Sox fans. Tim Anderson was unceremoniously shown the door as the CWS declined his one year option. Don and I piss and moan about it for awhile. We chat a bit about the World Series and our plans for the afternoon.

Don and I pick through the wreckage of the 2023 Chicago White Sox season (61-101; 4th ALC) in the Hurler's regular season finale. This year undoubtedly tested every CWS fan's convictions and how much attention you can pay attention to these losers. We're not pulling punches this ep. THESE GUYS SUCK. After a bleak year, we sadly may be heading into a bleak era, the dawn of Getz. Them Hurl boys still be yakking though. On the plus side Don is back on the Moncada Kool-Aid. That's something.

The White Sox have mercifully moved on from the 2023 season with a number of trades. We discuss the exits of Lucas Giolito, Lance Lynn, Jake Burger and others. We talk about the prospects that interest us the most from the group the Sox acquired. Don's Moncada fandom reaches a new low towards the end of the episode as he offers Moncada + $20 million for a 19yo A ball player to the Red Sox.

The Sox are playing pretty good baseball. Still completely out of contention at the moment but it is watchable. We welcome guest Ryan Mirabedini to level some harsh Guardian-fan truths. Michael Kopech, the lord of grease, has found something very special lately and we discuss what we're seeing. Eloy Jimenez returns to the lineup for now. Is Gavin Sheets an everyday player? Will Tim Anderson figure out how to be a positive WAR player before the front office start moving pieces?

The season is underway and the Chicago White Sox have stumbled a bit. We take a look at the Corpse Watch with multiple key injuries early in the season. We talk about the resurgent Burger and his role on this team. Don expresses some concerns with Andrew Vaughn's longterm power potential. It is still early but the team is heading towards a big 13 game stretch against PHI(h), TB(a), TOR(a), TB(h) that will reveal the course of the first half. We conclude the episode with a new segment, the Hurlers' Our-Time Team. We debate the best CWS centerfielders from 1987 to now. We will continue building the roster in future episodes.

The winning streak has arrived!!! It has been fun to be a Sox fan in September. After excelling at meaningless singles form months, power hitting is here. Led by Elvis Andrus the Sox finally look something like a powerful MLB offense. We discuss the looming conflicts including the return of TLR's zombie-corpse, and what to do at SS when TA7 is healthy. We chat about the 'sweeping' MLB rule changes. Don't stop now boys!
The Sox were hot... now they are not. Don is now Dom and owes lobster dinners all over town. We discuss if the recent five game streak was the highpoint of the season. I'll bring up some fun details from the Kaskade concert. We nail TLR for being a disaster again and again, most recently with handling Michael Kopech. 40 games to go, in some ways it can't end soon enough.
We discuss the happenings and for the White Sox the non-happenings of the 2022 trade deadline. The Sox made one move exchanging third string catcher Reese McGuire for veteran, lefty Jake Diekman. We talk more about what the Sox didn't do, that other teams did do. Is it right to stand pat? We discuss some players who were moved. What did the Twins do? Got better. The Sox continue to bob around .500. Hopefully that improves with a healthier lineup.
After the All Star break the Chicago White Sox find themselves at exactly .500 in third place in the AL Central. We do mid season honors for MVP and L(east)VP. Luis Robert has light headedness and blurred vision. He was sent to the IL undiagnosed. Don pitches his Juan Soto to the White Sox. The Sox and Guardians face off in a big four game series. The Friday game may have been the worst game of baseball this Tuna Boy has ever seen. We discuss the grind and how it is not going away.
The White Sox are in the middle of the most important stretch of the season and it's been more of the meh. HISTORY!!!! No, not the good kind. The CWS invent a new triple play. Gavin Sheets and Dylan Cease have looked good recently. Are we the dumbest and worst coach team in the league? Should the CWS pursue pitching or hitting if they end up buyers?
After listening to the last episode, it's time for some optimism! Dylan Cease, getting healthy, more than half the season left, two pretenders ahead of us. It ain't over yet! It's been pretty ugly but every day is another opportunity to turn everything around. We catch up before the sox hit the road against the LAA and SFG. Yermin revenge tour?
The Sox are showing some signs of life. They're still behind in the division but Jake Burger and Danny Mendick are keeping us alive. Pito is starting to look like MVPito again. Another rash of injuries hits the team like it always does. Moncada is a dumpster, maybe the five-hit game wakes him up.
The White Sox enter a series with Toronto at 23-23. The Sox are treading water and every game has been a grind so far. Our best player just went on the IL for what hopefully is a short absence. Keuchel has been DFA'd, ciao. The hurlers try and find some bright sides out there but it has been pretty brutal for Sox fans this month and this season. This team are heading into a challenging slate of games leading to the All Star Break.
The White Sox return to some semblance of baseball with a hot streak. This episode was recorded before Naylor became our a new divisional enemy so keep that in mind. Sox pitching and defense has been great, the hitting has been well enough. Let's hope the Sox can build on this momentum and see some bigger contributions from Jose and Yaz.
We're gone for four weeks and the Sox have been stinking it up in the interim. We trash nearly the entire roster, ownership, management and facility infrastructure in a rage fueled pod. Let's hope the pale hose can turn it around this week against the Cubs.

We're a month out from baseball being played and the deck is getting reshuffled as we head into free agency. Will the White Sox go out and get us the piece(s) we need to get to the next level? We discuss some expiring contracts, who and what we want targeted in free agency.

The White Sox season came to an end after a 3-1 defeat to the Houston Astros in the ALDS. There were some great moments but overall a disappointing end to the season. We discuss what stood out in the series, mostly the talent gap between the Sox and Astros. Heading into the 2022 season with more questions than we anticipated.
Who doesn't love a 5 hour baseball game? The Sox bats woke up in an epic home playoff game. The bullpen shut down the Astros late. Catcher shenanigans. Leury Garcia is the hero we deserve. The hurlers are on corpse watch again, this time for beloved second baseman Nick Madrigal. Nick has been added to the 60 day DL with the chance of season ending surgery. We talk about potential replacements and also just how great of a player Nick is.

TLR is off the corpse hot stove for now, Abreu is thrown on after he and Dozier collide setting off a seismic reaction. Giolito stinks, Cease is the new money man and Dallas Keuchel is boring. The inevitable happens, Eloy Jiminez injures himself on a Vince Carter dunk on the outfield wall. Sadly, this was prophesied by Don when he was caught in a net previously attempting to field. We discuss the impacts to the lineup and wins. Who is going to fill the position? Will anyone else end up stuck in a net?
We review who on the Sox are having solid spring starts and who need to work on some things. We chat about the spring training 'mercy rule' which the Sox have faced a few times early. TLR makes the fifth starter spot Carlos Rodon versus Reynaldo Lopez, we've seen enough.
At the (38:35) mark we get into White Sox fantasy baseball. Which players we like in fantasy, who we are staying away from, auction prices, and our keeper league that everyone wants to hear about.

We talk about some of the narratives this spring, focusing on the back of the rotation, some bullpen discussions, the DH and bench spots. We talk about player's we're excited to watch this spring no matter if they're on the roster.
