On the Future Leader Xperience, we talk to guests from across a wide range of industries and fields including law, sport, politics, entertainment, and everything in between. We want our guests to share their thoughts and opinions about their fields, and learn from their life experiences so that we can apply these lessons to our own lives and in our communities. We especially want to talk to younger people who are striving to be the future leaders of their fields and communities and give them a platform to discuss their work.
In this episode, James talks to Koe Yeet, a Malaysian actress and qualified Barrister.
Koe Yeet shares how she got into acting and her experience in the law as well as the times that she spent studying in the UK together with the challenges that came with it. James and Koe Yeet also discuss how society forces people to specialise into specific careers from an early age, dissuading us from finding and pursuing our passions. They also discuss handling pressure and success, as well as the importance of telling Asian narratives in cinema. Finally, in a new edition to the show, James closes the show by asking Koe Yeet a series of fun, quick-fire questions.

In this special edition of the show, we talk to Aye Chan Aung, a Burmese lawyer in Yangon, Myanmar about the developing situation involving the ousting of the elected NLD government (led by Ang Sang Suu Kyi) from an illegal coup d'etat staged by the Burmese military.
Aye Chan shares the background for the coup and what is currently happening in Myanmar, with peaceful protests being staged by the citizens, who are engaging in a campaign of civil disobedience in order to help restore the elected government. The military, however, alleges that the Nov. 2020 election was fraudulent and continues to resist calls to stand down.

The 20th of July marks the first time man step foot on the moon. With Neil Armstrong’s left foot touching the cold surface of that large rock that we see every night, we as a species confirmed that our dreams and ambitions are not confined to the planet that we live in. And yet in making that small step, there was so much investment, with billions of dollars spent and nearly a decade of hard work by thousands of people. All just for one step.

However, in this step, we know that the possibilities of our show are endless and we can't wait to inspire and entertain you. This is The Future Leader Xperience.
On our first ever show, we meet Cole Chapman, an associate at PwC, where we discuss the process of getting into the Big 4 financial firms, the Covid-19 pandemic as well as Cole's interesting life before joining PwC. The show is split into two parts, with part 2 being audio-only.
