For a long time I have been living intuitively, before eating I ask myself what does my body want? I ditched my alarm in the morning so my body can guide how much sleep it needs and I have let my body decide what exercise I should be carrying out every day even if that means every morning for weeks I do yoga rather than running or a hit workout. I didn’t know intuitive living was a thing though until I discovered Emmy Vadnais. In our current society analytical thinking has been promoted over our intuition, especially as women which is exactly what I get into with Emmy. We talk about the questions you should ask yourself to live intuitively, what to do if your intuition is telling you one thing but comes at the cost of disappointing others, including family and friends, the connection between your intuition and your dreams and consciousness and of course how to strengthen your intuition, how much of a role the universe plays in our intuition and how to not let our intuition get affected by the news that surrounds us everyday.

As you tribers know, I work with Harvard University as a female empowerment expert. The first time I spoke there I also met Tara Bradford, a speaker, mental health advocate and personal brand expert. No matter how many times I hear it, I always find Tara’s story so compelling, she began as a nurse and then at 30 realised she wasn’t living the life she was destined for, she packed up her bags, moved to New York City and became a certified high performance coach.
What makes Tara so different is her commitment to kindness and empathy in business, just in time for the holidays you are going to learn how to become a wildly successful woman through kindness, the questions you should be asking yourself to figure out your values and the questions you should be spending the holidays going over to make sure you are living as your most authentic self in 2021. Tara is full of wisdom, she provides so many free resources throughout the episode and I have no doubt this is the episode you need to gear yourself up for the holiday season.

What a treat you are in for today, Marine Tanguy and I met at Warwick University early this year for their special International Women’s Day event, we both had the opportunity to speak and struck up a friendship, Marine is someone I admire both for personal and professional reasons. In 2015, Marine set up MT ART AGENCY, an art agency that provides a better supporting structure for artists outside the traditional gallery model. In this episode Marine opens up about everything you can’t Google about her, of course she is a Forbes 30 under 30 alumna and go-to art media commentator but we also talk about dealing with the word 'no', how French she is , her approach to fashion, her favourite London galleries, and what the vision is for the agency. Marine is such a force in this space , an industry that has taken her from France to LA to here in London, it was lovely finally sitting down and having such a raw conversation with one of the most graceful business owners I have ever met.
Today I am joined by climate change activist and TED speaker Laura Young. Laura is only 23 but has built a fantastic platform on social media called Less Waste Laura. She is also a speaker and travels around Scotland providing classes with resources to learn more about the planet. In this episode we talk about the day she was on a beach and decided to live a cleaner lifestyle, fashion sustainability, the beauty and sanitary products we can't live without and not only why living this way is so good but how easy it is too.
Laura's TED Talk
We love talking about everything business at Smart Girl Tribe, because we know how many of you are dreamers, creatives, founders, entrepreneurs and businesswomen. Penelope Silver was married to a millionaire and along with it came that millionaire lifestyle but it was a toxic relationship and Penelope fled in the middle of the night with her two daughters.

In this podcast episode Penelope shares why as women it’s important to heal ourselves, how we can overcome the high internal expectations we set for ourselves and the importance of chakras, what they mean and what we can do to heal each one.

I am delighted to announce Smart Girl Tribe is supporting Women For Women's new campaign #HopeInSisterhood. The campaign is built around the story of Amela, one of the programme graduates in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Executive Director, Brita Fernandez Schmidt whom were joined together in sisterhood through Women for Women International's year-long sponsorship programme.
The short film documenting their story, which will kickstart our campaign will be available TONIGHT. Head to @womenforwomenuk for tickets (prices starting as low as £3).
The campaign will focus on themes around hope, sisterhood and sowing seeds for a positive future.
One of the most poignant parts of the film, is the story of how Amela used some of the stipend money from her training to purchase tulip seeds, which years later continue to bloom every spring to remind her of her sponsor 'sister', Brita.
Anyone that sponsors a sister during the month will receive a pair of tulip bulbs, so they too can plant them like Amela and be reminded every time they bloom of the connection with their new sponsored sister.
Steff Pitman is the queen of energy healing. In this episode I ask Steff all of my questions such as:
What is energy?
Can we have broken energy?
How does past trauma store itself in our bodies?
What can we do to cleanse our energy?
How does feminine energy affect our menstrual cycle?
And so many more.
Find Steff here and let us know what you thought about this episode in our private society.
74% of British adults have been so stress this past year they have felt unable to cope, I have been there and know you have too so I thought it was about time to call in a stress expert. We don't only talk about the root of stress but how our own birth story affects our stress patterns, if stress is genetic, the root of stress, what you can do to live a completely stress-free life.
2020, what a year. It has already had such an impact on people's mental health that I thought it was about time to call in an expert to explore holistic and natural ways to ease stress, anxiety and depression.
According to a 2019 Consumer Reports CBD survey, 40% of people aged between 18 - 29 have tried CBD, I was not one of them which is why this episode is so great. I ask every question you can think of to do with CBD and I ask all of those curious questions that you won’t find the answers to on the back of a bottle.
As you know, I have started my personal development journey again and here I have been documenting my progress and everything changing my life. Here is another solo episode, enjoy tribers!
A couple of weeks ago you may remember I opened up about the importance of exploring your inner child and how I am doing exactly that, the more I dived into the subject, the more I realised how crucial it is to your personal growth.
I knew that this would really help you so I called in an expert, Tracy Callaghan , an inner child specialist , she is a full time therapist with her own practice and in this episode we of course get into what exploring your inner child means, how to tap into the mind of your inner child, emotional triggers that might be cropping up for you that you don’t know about and the importance of healing as a woman. This is a powerful episode and I know it will change your healing journey.
Did you know the majority of women would rather talk about their own death than money?
Misty Lynch , the money expert busts money myths in this episode. She talks about the relationship you should have with money, breaks down all the money terms such as stock, bond and investment, and shares how you can get more more easily and also what you should be doing as a single woman to prepare financially for marriage or what your relationship with money should look like as a married woman.
Misty is a rockstar in this field and helps tons of very normal people make millions every year so we dive into that and the rituals the super wealthy have to keep up with their finances. Misty also answers my burning questions such as saving for a pension and how to work out how much of your income should be disposable but also navigating the current economic crisis and how to ease the blow. This is a golden episode and one that will actually give you the tools to help your wallet and money mindset.
