The guys also have a chat with their leaders Bridget and Easther who explain how the project came about.

This week Gavin and Stephen rate and debate the new Blur album - "The Ballad of Darren" which came out earlier this year. Both brothers have not heard it yet, so this is an instant reaction show. Joined in the studio by Stephen's daughter - Eabha, for her debut. She's a bit nervous to begin with but by the end she's dancing and reacting to every song.
This week the boys are very current and tackling the track that is number 1 in the charts, as of this recording. The track is called "Now and Then" and it's by... yes, you've guessed it, The Beatles. A brand new Beatles song in 2023 and it has had quite the journey, from its genesis in 1977 when it was originally demoed by John Lennon, to when it was first worked on by the other three Beatles in 1995, all the way to the official release of the track this week. Gavin and Stephen also take a listen to the two other postumous Beatles' songs - "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love," both written and demoed by John Lennon in the late 1970s and finished and released as "The Beatles" in the mid 1990s.

This week Gav and Steve are joined on the phone by Stephen's son Lennon, he gives the verdict for the letter "M." With an eclectic array of music and the craic continuing throughout, this tees up the final very nicely indeed.

This week Gav and Steve take a listen to one of the greatest solo artists of all time - David Bowie. Our very own Tommy Collins of CRY104FM emailed in his top 5 songs from David Bowie who happens to be one of Tommy's favourite artists. The boys are joined in the studio by Stephen's two sons - Lennon and Logan, both "Bowie" fans also. With a catalogue spanning nearly 50 years, the four lads try to represent every era of Bowies's career. From "Ziggy" to the "Thin White Duke" along with Tommy's top 5, it all ads up to a great episode.
Gavin and Stephen continue on their "Radiohead Journey" with the second installment and the band's second album - "The Bends." Released in 1995 to critical acclaim, the album was a step in an alternative direction away from their debut LP "Pablo Honey" and the beginning of Radiohead as we know them today. Joining the boys in the studio is Gavin's son Julian who gives his opinion on the album track by track. Gavin and Stephen use their new scoring system.

Gavin and Stephen take a trip back memory lane this week as they rate and debate one of their most nostalic albums. An album very near and dear to their hearts - "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" by Oasis. Released in 1995 and containing two chart-topping singles ("Some Might Say" and "Don't Look Back In Anger"), some brilliant album tracks ("She's Electric," "Champagne Supernova," "Cast No Shadow") and possibly the biggest song of the 1990s - "Wonderwall," which only made number 2 in the charts... can you actually believe that? In January 1969 The Beatles entered the studio to record the infamous, fractious, perfectly imperfect album "Let It Be." Originally called "Get Back" and intended to be the band gettin' back to the primal way of recording (live, with no overdubs), but it didn't quite turn out that way, with Phil Spector getting to lather the tapes with syrupy, un-beatley-like strings. Gavin and Stephen have a close listen to "Let It Be... Naked," which was released by Apple in 2003 and is the version of the album which is closer to what The Beatles had originally intended. How will this album fair using the new ranking system? Tune in to find out.
