Hi. My name is Jerrin Finney and I am the Millennial Seller. How'd I come up with the name, Millennial Seller? Well, I am a Millennial and I sell stuff online. Just seemed natural. Anyway, it is my goal to spread the honest truth about business and life in general.I write blogs on The Millennial Seller websiteI have three YouTube Channels. MillennialSeller, Say Somethin' With Jerrin and Dollars N Sense are their names.I have a bunch of other things going on as well. My aim is to bring a more realistic approach to life so more people can have a better understanding of what it takes to go to higher levels in life.
As someone who wants to start their own business, you're going to have to become a self-learner. This means you'll have to learn a lot of skills on your own. Which skills do you need? Which courses are best for you to learn? These are all decisions you'll have to make on your own as you learn.
In this episode of The Millennial Seller Podcast, I talk about wealth, money and status. What is the importance of the three? Why do they really matter so much in our lives? Can we get what we want without them? Are they just mere distractions from what we really crave and want?
Do you think you can find success as a solopreneur? A solopreneur is someone who does business all on their own. Can someone run a business all on their own? Thanks to the many advancements we've made in the world with technology, is it easier to start and operate a profitable business all on your own?
There are many risks that come with operating a business, but are the rewards worth it? In today's episode, I talk about business and some of the advice people give about it.
Politics, race, business and money. Those are the perfect ingredients to a wonderful, controversial-free conversation, right?
While those topics may not be for the faint hearted or for casual icebreakers at your average parties and whatnot, they are important topics in our lives nonetheless.
With that said, if you are easily offended by politics, "race talk" or business and money, then this podcast isn't for you. If you can handle it, then know that in today's episode, I'll be talking about:
- What it means for me as a Black man to have his own business
- Ways to find advantages when you're a group with disadvantages
- The importance of understanding the fundamentals of anything, especially something that can be as complex as a business
- The importance of technology and its role in advancing those at a disadvantage

Blessings come from struggles. Many people don't understand that. In order to get rewarded in anything you do, you have to go through a struggle first. That seems to be a general, fundamental rule of life. However, too many people don't want to struggle with the fundamentals. They expect to jumpstart their business or careers without ever having to learn fundamental skills.

What are your intentions? They matter in the whole scope of things. Why? Your intentions are the spark for the actions you take. Intentions are the blueprint that determine everything about your actions, from how they impact the world to the quality of life it'll lead you to having. If intentions are this important, then we'd do well to be more aware of our intentions and their consequences on the world.

A lot of people say that having a mentor is necessary for growth. However, I challenge that a bit in today's episode of The Millennial Seller Podcast. Are mentors really that great for helping you go to the next level? Do mentors have secrets they can share with you that you can't learn anywhere else? What's so special about mentors that we need them so badly (and at such high prices?)?

In this episode, I'm bringing honesty back into business. There are a lot of fake gurus and business scams that give business a bad name. Also, there are a lot of people trying to live hyped up, glamorous, and unattainable lifestyles. We need to come back to reality. Business isn't all flashy and glamorous. It's actually pretty bland, boring and monotonous.
Take a look at your life right now and just appreciate it. Fix problems that you have, but don't feel like you have to live someone else's dreams and apply it to your life. Your life is yours, and you have to figure out what works for you. If entrepreneurship isn't for you, then don't pursue it.
Everyone hasn't gone through difficulties in the same way I have. Also, some people have been through greater difficulties than I've been through. Don't pursue the American dream. Pursue your personal dream because that one is the most fulfilling. Just make sure your dream is based in reality and you're not trying to do anything to hurt anyone. And also speak with certified professionals about your business and financial decisions.
