Helping Extraordinary Women Raise Up their Voice, Visibility & Business: Storyteller, Connector, & Coach for Women

There’s a reason so many women are hearing a calling right now.

The way business has been done, pushing harder, moving faster, always trying to prove, is losing its grip. A bigger shift is underway.

After having conversations with hundreds of women these past few months about what’s happening in their businesses, it was refreshing to hear how many have already chosen a different way of showing up. They are simplifying. They are letting go of offers that no longer fit. They are tuning back into the heart of their work and finding new ways to bring their gifts forward. Some are even exploring more nomadic ways of working, creating businesses that can travel with them and support the life they most want to live.

One woman told me, “I’m getting back to what I love: coaching and connecting. Not all the noise, just what actually moves people.” Another said, “For the first time in a long time, my business is actually aligned with the life I want to live.”

Of course, the women I spoke with were in many different places. Some are in a season of recalibration or planting new seeds that will take time to grow. And yet, what I found so hopeful was how many are beginning to notice real shifts as they pause to listen and make soul-led choices. For some, that shows up as renewed energy and inspiration. For others, it’s clearer offers, deeper client connections, or even fresh growth emerging in the midst of a noisy marketplace.

I spoke with women who shared that by slowing down to realign, they were surprised to see new growth, one person even doubling their revenue in some cases after a slower year. Others described the relief of releasing offers that no longer felt alive and then watching fresh programs fill with clients they loved working with. Some celebrated raising their prices, creating more breathing room by adding team members, or finally stepping onto the stages and podcasts they had envisioned for years.

One reflected with joy, “I’ve created a business model I actually love. It feels profitable and peaceful.” Another said with conviction, “I’m no longer outsourcing my authority. That’s the real breakthrough.”

These stories don’t represent every path, but they do point to what becomes possible when women pause long enough to hear their own calling… and have the courage to follow it.

What I heard in these conversations is that this moment is not about doing more, it is about listening differently. Renewal begins when we stop long enough to hear what is calling us forward. It is in the pause that new vision takes root, in the stories that remind us of who we are, in the values that anchor us, and in the choices that shape what comes next.

If you are feeling that call to do business differently, here are some reflections to guide you, invitations to listen more deeply on the soulful side and to act with sharper intention on the strategy side.

  1. On the soulful side, you can ask yourself:
  2. When have I felt most alive in my business this year? What was I doing, and how can I create more of that?
  3. Which values feel most important to guide my decisions right now? Am I honoring them in how I work and what I offer?
  4. What stories do my clients share when they talk about their biggest wins with me? What do those stories reveal about the impact I want to amplify?
  5. On the strategy side, you might reflect on:
  6. Where can I simplify? What offers, commitments, or activities no longer feel aligned?
  7. Which of my offers create the best results for my clients and the most energy for me? Can I bring sharper focus there?
  8. Does my marketing ecosystem build trust and nurture relationships in a consistent way? What small step could I take this week to strengthen it?

This is not one single path. It’s a larger movement of women choosing to answer the call to do business differently, each in their own way.

Because when women step into this renewal, they don’t just change their own businesses. They change the very shape of business itself. That is the energy we’ll be gathering at Extraordinary Women Ignite this November.

Ignite is where women come to listen to their calling, refine their vision, and rise into the next season of business growth with both soul and strategy. When women step into this renewal, they don’t just change their own businesses. They change the shape of business itself.

So I’ll leave you with this: What are you being called to do differently right now?

Join us at Ignite and step into this powerful moment of possibility with extraordinary women by your side.

Last week, I spent three days in Estes Park at the Silverhood Experience, hosted by Robin Salls of Tangled Silver Magazine. This gathering of women was designed to celebrate the beauty, wisdom, and power of silver-haired women through connection, storytelling, and empowerment.

For me, being in that room was deeply personal. I started my silver journey just 11 months ago. The last time I colored my hair was October 19, 2024. Like so many women, I did not make this decision lightly. There was plenty of back and forth, moments of resolve, moments of doubt, and even a few panicked calls to my stylist in those early months. She was not available in those urgent “I need you now” moments, and I think that was divine timing. Instead, I chose the cold turkey route, cutting off 8 inches of hair to shorten the grow-out.

And still, the questions ran through my mind. Would I still be relevant? Would I recognize myself? What would others see? I know I am not alone in that. Every woman who has made this decision has faced those very questions.

Today, I can say I am loving my hair. I love the silver, the unique patterns I did not even know were there, the healthiness that has returned, and of course, no more chemicals on my scalp every four weeks. I am close to having it fully grown out, and I have even picked up a new word for this transition stage this weekend: Gr’ombre.

But here is what I have discovered. This journey has become about so much more than my hair. It is about owning my wisdom, my visibility, and my voice.

And in a beautiful bit of divine timing, just as I was stepping into the Silverhood Experience, I received the photos back from a recent shoot with Candace Smith of The Essence Photographer. I love them so much, photos of me fully rocking my silver. Here is a sneak peek. This is 62, baby!

At the Silverhood Experience, we learned, laughed, and connected, and we were reminded just how powerful women’s voices are when we come together. The beauty of this gathering was that each woman brought a different facet of the silver journey: beauty, health, activism, visibility, and more. If you’re exploring your silver journey, let me share a few voices I loved and encourage you to follow:

  • Robin Salls of Tangled Silver Magazine, the visionary behind the Silverhood Experience, who is building a movement that celebrates the beauty, wisdom, and power of silver-haired women.
  • Stephanie O’Dell of Celebrate the Gray, whose modeling agency is redefining representation for women 50+.
  • Dr. Samantha Graber on nutrition in menopause. Did you know we should be aiming for 100 grams of fat a day? I have some work to do.
  • Viveka von Rosen of Beyond the Dreamboard, who spoke on how to release the chains holding you back so you step into your dreams.
  • Katie Goes Platinum, sharing from Silver Rebellion: Reclaiming Beauty, Power & Identity One Strand at a Time.
  • Jineen Marie, a silvery hair influencer, who did color analysis sessions for us so we could see which shades make us shine.
  • Barbara Brooks of SecondAct Women, who gave a powerful call to embrace experience, resilience, and perspective as assets in both career and life.
  • Farah of Greyblending, who showed us how we can work with our silver hair with the expertise of a pro-gray stylist.
  • And I loved connecting with Renee Steelman of Go Gray Dame, who is amplifying activism for women over 50.

These are women worth following, and you will love the wisdom they share.

I had the honor of speaking on The Business of Being Seen: Igniting Your Visibility in the Season of Silver. The world needs the perspective of women who have lived, who have led, and who have learned. It needs our stories, our presence, and our unapologetic voices shaping conversations, companies, communities, and causes. We are the movement makers. We are the women stepping forward, refusing to wait for permission, refusing to shrink into someone else’s mold. Every time we speak up, we open doors. We shift the story. And we make more room for the women coming behind us.

Aging is freeing. With each season of our lives, we grow bolder, braver, and more unapologetic in speaking the truth.

Look at the women showing us what this can look like. Gloria Steinem, now 91, still keynoting with radical clarity. Jane Fonda, 87, speaking out with fierce relevance. Annie Lennox, 70, still electrifying audiences, her voice cutting through with power and presence (watch her here). These women remind us that aging is an invitation to be seen and to use our voices more boldly than ever.

We ended the event with an open-air jeep tour through Rocky Mountain National Park. Fresh air, crisp fall colors, and spectacular mountain vistas reminded us of the beauty of nature and the beauty of embracing our own seasons. It was the perfect close to three days of inspiration, laughter, and sisterhood.

Barbara Brooks of SecondAct Women put it best. One in three people today are over 50 and one in five will be over 65 by 2030. She calls this ROE, Return on Experience. Experience doesn’t age you out. It levels you up. Her words echo the truth that this season is not about fading. It is about rising into our power and using our voices to create change.

As I reflect back, one truth shines through. When women own their voice and embrace who they truly are, we shine in ways that spark movements. We become living proof that wisdom and beauty are not diminished by age, but amplified by it. The facets of our journeys in health, in beauty, in activism, and in voice become the medicine the world is asking for.

This is the season for women to stand fully in who we are. And it is ours to own.

That is exactly what we will be doing at the Extraordinary Women Ignite Conference, happening November 6–8 in Colorado. Ignite is where women founders, entrepreneurs, and movement makers come together to raise their voices, grow their visibility, and lead businesses that create impact. If this message speaks to you, join us. It is your time. Get your ticket here.

Look around. The world is noisy right now. We are seeing so many examples where people operate as if winning must be absolute, siloed to one side, about being first, about never bending. But this model is costing us. It is creating division, burning people out, breaking trust, and fraying the very fabric of our communities.

In the middle of all this noise, a different kind of power is rising.

Soft power is part of a bigger shift that women are leading. It is about dismantling old power dynamics built on domination and control, and ushering in a new era of leadership that is rooted in connection, collaboration, and care.

Think of Sally Field in Norma Rae standing on that table, holding the strike sign high above her head. Her courage and conviction in that moment embodied soft power at its most potent: a single, steady act of courage that moved hearts, sparked change, and could not be ignored.

Brené Brown calls this having a strong back, soft front, and wild heart. It means standing rooted in your values, staying open to connection, and leading with courage. Strength without softness becomes rigid. Softness without strength collapses. When we bring both together, we become leaders who are steady, open, and able to move people toward change.

Our voices, our intuition, and our way of doing business are reshaping the future. We are showing that you can lead with an open heart and still be unshakably strong. That you can create prosperity without perpetuating harm. That you can build movements that heal rather than divide.

Lately, I have been practicing this myself. There are so many headlines, social posts, and conversations that have triggered my own reactions. My first instinct can be to respond, to take a stand right away. But I am learning to pause. To seek to understand. To fact-check before reacting. To take a breath before I choose my words. To listen, not just to others, but to what is happening inside of me.

My friend Kerry Borcherding shared a beautiful reminder recently: we are all frequency generators. Every thought, word, and action we put into the world is either a deposit or a withdrawal in what she calls our Vibrational Bank Account. Blame, judgment, and harshness are withdrawals. Love, compassion, and understanding are deposits. Every deposit strengthens our own energy field and sends ripples outward into the collective.

I am not perfect at this, but I am making the effort. Because if we each started making more deposits every day, imagine how the collective frequency could shift.

Soft power becomes practice when we pause, listen deeply, and choose words and actions that deposit more love than fear. As women entrepreneurs, this is how we lead communities, inspire clients, and ignite movements. When we lead this way, we create space for others to rise with us.

Women are showing the world what is possible. We are modeling that business can be rooted in purpose and still wildly successful. That tenderness can be fierce. That the future of leadership is not about who wins, but about how we rise together.

Here is your invitation for the week ahead: have one conversation where you listen more deeply than you speak, share one story with your audience that reveals your heart, and make one decision from softness. Watch the ripple it creates.

And then ask yourself: What do I want to take a stand for? How will you show up in the fierce softness of your Rooted Flame? How will you lead your clients, your community, and your movement from this place of courage and care?

Leading this way turns business into a catalyst for the world we are dreaming into being. A world where women’s wisdom leads, connection thrives, and prosperity and purpose rise together.

This is the work we will be doing at the Extraordinary Women Ignite Conference this November. Helping you embody your own Rooted Flame and claim your place as the movement maker you are meant to be. If you are ready to rise in the fierce softness of your leadership and shape the ripple you want to leave, this is the room where it happens. Grab your ticket here.

Last week, I shared how a sleepless night stirred something powerful within me. Not restlessness or worry, but inspiration. Clear, divine messages about what’s next in my business. A refined direction. A simplified model. A deeper embodiment of my mission to raise up the voices, visibility, and businesses of one million women around the world.

Since that night, I’ve felt such clarity. And what’s been even more affirming is how aligned it feels with what I’m hearing from the women in my community. Through dozens of insight interviews and surveys, I’ve been in deep listening, gathering stories, themes, and vision. The resonance is undeniable.

So many women are standing in this same space of possibility. It’s not that what they’ve built is broken. It’s that they’ve outgrown a version of it. There’s a quiet knowing rising up, whispering that something else is ready to take shape. Not out of fear, but out of a deep, embodied calling.

And I believe these callings are not random.

They’re part of something bigger. A remembering. A returning. A recalibration of how we lead, how we serve, and how we show up in the world. I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it:
“Women’s wisdom is the medicine our earth needs.”

That wisdom is rising through us. Through our questions. Through our vision. Through our willingness to pause, to listen, and to shape a new way of doing business rooted in purpose, prosperity, and soul.

What I know is this:
You don’t need permission to shift.
But if you’re feeling the call, trust that it’s real. It’s rising for a reason.

This is the kind of shift I’m most interested in right now.

Not the frantic pivot or reactive change. But the brave, soulful kind. The kind that emerges after years of showing up, serving, evolving. The kind of shift that says, I trust myself enough to choose again. I trust that who I’ve become deserves to be met with an equally aligned business.

I’ve been exploring the next evolution of my own work. Not from a need to do more, but from a desire to bring things into even greater resonance. What’s unfolding is simpler, clearer, and more expansive all at once. It’s about gathering the threads of my best work and weaving them into a next evolution of my work that feels alive and potent. Not because the old wasn’t working. But because the new is ready to be born.

And I’m hearing the same in the voices of so many women right now.

There’s a recalibration happening. Not out of burnout, but out of wisdom. Out of vision. Out of devotion to the ripple we’re here to create. I see women redefining success, reshaping their offers, restructuring their time. I see them choosing joy and alignment over someone else’s version of scale.

This is business as conscious evolution. As spiritual maturity. As legacy work.

Steps You Can Take to Honor a Shift

If you’re feeling the stir of something new rising within you, not from fear but from desire, here are a few ways to bring that into motion. These aren’t steps to rush through. They’re invitations. Let them open space.

  • Make space to hear yourself

This is where all aligned action begins. Create quiet. Cancel a meeting. Get outside. Unplug. Turn down the volume on everyone else’s ideas and tune in to your own. What are you craving more of? What feels heavy or outdated? Let your inner knowing speak without interruption. Even ten minutes of intentional space can open a door.

  • Get honest about what no longer fits

This isn’t about throwing it all out. But there is wisdom in acknowledging what’s complete. Where in your business are you going through the motions? What offerings, structures, or rhythms feel like they belong to a past version of you? Realignment begins when we stop pretending it still works and start designing for who we’ve become.

  • Let yourself want what you want

Desire is not a distraction. It’s guidance. If you feel pulled toward a new audience, a new model, a different pace, honor that. You don’t have to justify your direction with spreadsheets or data points. You only need resonance. Give yourself permission to want differently now than you did before.

  • Begin shaping what’s next, gently

Clarity rarely comes all at once. Instead of forcing a full rebrand or tearing down what you’ve built, begin by shaping the edges. Start sketching what’s next in your business. What would feel even more aligned, simple, potent? Try it on. Talk it out. Test it in conversation. Let it evolve naturally.

  • Surround yourself with vision-holders

You don’t need a big room. You need the right one. A circle of women who see you clearly, who reflect your brilliance back to you, who can hold space for the bigness of what you’re stepping into. These conversations matter. They give shape to what’s still forming. They offer encouragement when the old no longer fits and the new isn’t quite built yet.

This is how we honor the shift.
Not by pushing through, but by listening.
Not by proving, but by allowing.
And not by doing it all alone, but in powerful, conscious community.

If you’re in this space right now, feeling the call, hearing the whisper; I invite you to follow it. You don’t need to wait for the perfect plan. You simply need to trust the truth that’s already rising.

This is your permission slip.

And if you’re ready to explore what’s next – your next aligned offering, your next level of visibility, your next leap of impact – I’d love to talk.
Let’s find your rhythm. Let’s tune into your voice. Let’s build your business to match the woman you’ve become.

Apply for a Prosperity Audit or message me to begin the conversation.

The next evolution of you is already calling. I’ll meet you there.

Over the past few years, I’ve upgraded my sleep in big ways. I regularly get 90+ scores on my Oura ring thanks to the good work I’ve done with my functional nutritionist, Dr. Shannon Evans. When I started working with her three years ago, I was often awake in the middle of the night. Switching up my nutrition and health practices changed everything. These days, I rarely find myself lying awake.

Until a few nights ago.

But this was a different kind of awake. Ideas and messages were dropping in. Messages from the divine.

I’ve been deep in my listening campaign, interviewing women entrepreneurs and gathering insights through my survey. Over 30 women have shared what they’re craving, what’s shifting in their businesses, and what they desire most moving forward. I’ve been analyzing those findings and reflecting on who I most want to serve and how. All of this was fresh on my mind.

And suddenly, a cascade of ideas. A name for a new program. A sharper focus. Narrowing my niche, bringing all of my best ways of serving to serve. Simplifying my business model, which feels both grounding and expansive at the same time. Isn’t it ironic, I teach this all the time?

All aligning with my mission of raising up the voices and businesses of one million women around the world.

Since that night, I feel a new fire in what I’m creating and I am jazzed. It’s like I heard messages not only about my own next level, but also about the next up-level for my clients. The energy is alive, vibrant, and ready to take shape.

Here’s what I know: I am calling in movement makers. She is leading with mission, scaling to her next level and beyond with soul, while building legacy that lasts. She knows that money follows mission. She is scaling a business that generates both impact and abundance, where money becomes a tool for movement-making (because that’s what we do as women). She isn’t chasing ladders or numbers. She is ready to lead from the center of her deepest why. She wants resonance. She wants to grow differently, deeper, not just faster.

With all the hundreds of women I have served over the years, I have found it’s not the number someone is at, whether nearing six-figures, multi-six figures, or even seven. It’s how she’s committed to her mission and calling, and the depth of business and life experiences that have shaped her into who she is today. And that is where the true awakening happens.

And I know my body of work has evolved in profound ways over the past few years, deepening as I’ve walked beside these changemakers and served them with the fullest expression of my gifts.

This is business as spiritual awakening.
This is where resonance meets revenue, and soul meets scale.

And in all of this, I can see more clearly than ever who I am called to serve.

This night of awakeness wasn’t from an internal imbalance. It was pure inspiration flowing through. And yes, my Oura ring only gave me a sleep score of 63 that night, but it was so worth it.

The past few days have been so much fun, summarizing the interview data, connecting the dots, and aligning it with the ideas that flowed so fast that night.

I can’t wait to share what’s coming this Fall.

But for now, I want to ask you:

How are you making space to listen: for the whispers of the divine, the wisdom of others, and the clarity within yourself?

There’s magic to be found! I’d love to hear what is bubbling for you!

How a trusted thought partner can unlock exponential growth in your business.

Collecting tactics will never replace building real strategy or alignment. Yet so many entrepreneurs get stuck in a cycle of constant learning without real progress. Signing up for every “speaker of the month” at all the networking events. Jumping from one shiny new idea to the next.

It feels productive, but motion is not the same as momentum. And that pattern of hopping from one idea to the next often keeps you stuck in incremental growth when what you really want is exponential.

If you want exponential growth, it calls for depth. It calls for deep, focused learning with someone who sees your big picture and helps you shape what comes next. Someone who does not try to fit you into a cookie-cutter formula but helps you design the next evolution of your business.

That is the difference between chasing trends and building a business that leads.

Depth is strategy. It is about creating a business rooted in your gifts, your values, and your vision for impact. When your growth is aligned with what matters most, your results do not just grow. They expand exponentially, and so does the joy.

Why Depth Wins

Depth is where smart strategy lives. And it is where you reconnect with your inner wisdom, the part of you that knows what feels right for your life and your work.

When you have a true thought partner supporting you on your entrepreneurial journey, you are not patching together quick fixes or chasing what looks good on social media. You are crafting a plan that is strategic, soulful and skillful. A plan that positions your business for scalability and success while honoring the way you want to live.

Depth invites you to play a bigger game – for profit and for purpose. You are not only asking, “What will grow my revenue?” but also, “What is the impact I want to create?” That is where leadership and legacy begin.

My Guiding Philosophy: Depth Over Distraction

Here is what I know after 15+ years in business: choosing depth over distraction is the smartest, most soul-aligned decision I have ever made.

Instead of hopping from one new trend to another, I commit. I choose a mentor who sees me and my vision, and I go all in for several years with that person. My last mentor is a perfect example. I spent nearly two years searching before I found her because I knew this was a decision that mattered.

When I did, I binged her podcast, studied her work, and everything resonated. By the time we spoke, I knew I was in. I signed up the same day, and that commitment shaped everything. I worked with her for three years, and during that time, my business grew in ways that were both strategic and aligned.

Those seasons are not just about faster growth. They are about deep alignment, clarity, and confidence in my next chapter of leadership. They are about immersing in the depth of someone else’s expertise – three years of her teachings, experience, and hard-won wisdom poured into me. That kind of learning is rich. It shapes how you think, how you lead, and how you grow.

And when each season ends, I do not rush to the next shiny thing. I pause. I integrate. I make the strategies mine in a way that honors my voice, my clients, and the life I am creating.

That rhythm of deep engagement followed by intentional integration is the reason my growth has been both exponential and sustainable. And the truth is, that depth has delivered a return far beyond what most people imagine when they think about coaching or mentorship.

Over the years, I have invested more than $125,000 in this kind of deep coaching support. And I would do it again tomorrow.

Because the ROI is not just about money, even though that has been incredible. It is about having a business that gives me time for what matters and the income to support the life I want. It is about the embodied authority to lead boldly, to stretch into bigger visions, and to create a ripple effect of impact that reaches far beyond what I could have done on my own.

Depth does not just change your business. It changes who you become in the process.

How to Stop Playing Small with Your Learning

If you are ready to move beyond wide-but-not-deep learning, here is where to start:

Go all in on alignment.
Do not choose the loudest voice. Choose the one that feels true in your gut.
Look for experience and real results.
Choose someone who has walked the road before you and brings the strategic expertise to guide you forward.
Make sure they tailor strategy to you.
Avoid cookie-cutter approaches. Look for a partner who considers your unique gifts, business model, and vision for impact.
Trust your intuition.
If it feels like a full-body yes, it is worth paying attention to.
Commit.
Stop hopping. Go deep. Stay long enough to integrate and make it yours.

Because that is where the strategy and the soul come together, and where the magic happens.

Your Wake-Up Call

If you want to play big, you cannot keep playing small with shallow strategies. The market is overflowing with noise – endless trends, tactics, and distractions that keep entrepreneurs busy but not bold. The ones who rise do something different. They choose depth. They choose alignment. And they choose strategy that feels as good as it works.

So ask yourself: Are you done dabbling? Are you ready to create a business that is as soul-aligned as it is successful?

If the answer is yes, it starts with going deep. Let’s talk. Schedule a Prosperity Audit with me, where we’ll look at what is working, what is in the way, and what will open the path to a business that is both profitable and soul-aligned.

I spent last week in Dallas for the eWomen Network ICON International Conference.

By lunchtime on my first day there, I had already caught up with good friends. That evening, I joined several more at our favorite Dallas restaurant group, Asian Mint, owned by fellow eWomen Network member Nikky Phinyawatana.

It’s become a ritual for us over the years. And if you’re ever in Dallas, I highly recommend you find your way to one of Nikky’s restaurants. The food, the atmosphere, and the joy she infuses into every detail make it unforgettable.

I’ve been a member of eWomen Network since 2018, and in that time I’ve built a sisterhood of women who have shaped not only my business but my life. Year after year, I’ve found myself in rooms here with women doing extraordinary things: visionaries, leaders, and entrepreneurs whose work is making a difference in the world.

eWomen’s CEO and founder, Sandra Yancey, has held a vision to help one million women reach one million dollars in business, something less than 1.7% of women entrepreneurs achieve. It’s been so fun to watch her Million Dollar Women stage grow exponentially each year. I celebrated my client Dr. Lee Weisbard of Weisbard Dental, on that stage, and I often found myself sitting between multiple women who were in that top 1.7%. It’s inspiring.

Over the years, we have swapped ideas over coffee, shared the real behind-the-scenes stories of running a business, celebrated each other’s wins, and offered a hand when things felt heavy.

And of course, there’s the learning. Those powerful moments when a single idea, strategy, or insight lands in just the right way, and you know it will change something in your business. Conferences like this are rare spaces where we get to step away from the day-to-day in our business and focus on our business… to breathe, to dream, to reimagine what’s next.

It’s a reminder that we aren’t meant to do this alone.

That showing up for each other is one of the greatest investments we can make.
And that is when we gather in intentional community, our work expands in ways we could not have imagined.

As we step into this season of rising voices and unapologetic leadership, I can’t help but think about the spaces where real change is sparked. That’s the heart of the Extraordinary Women Ignite Conference.

This November will be our 11th year gathering women entrepreneurs who are growing their businesses with impact, wisdom, and fire.

Spending last week in Dallas reminded me that even in the messiness of these times, possibility is everywhere. When women come together in community, we rise above the noise and reconnect with hope, vision, and courage.

And that is what feels so alive for me right now. I believe the world is hungry for more women’s voices, ideas, and leadership. I see so many women rising, and I believe this is our time… to step into visibility, to speak truth, and to grow businesses that truly change lives.

Ignite is three days to step away from the noise and distractions of your daily work and give yourself the gift of working on your business. It’s where you will:

  • Learn from inspiring voices and walk away with strategies you can put into action right away.
  • Claim dedicated time to reimagine your vision for impact, prosperity, and joy.
  • Surround yourself with women who will champion you, challenge you, and remind you what’s possible.

Here’s what happens when women come together in this kind of space:

Barb Brown describes Ignite as the place she returns to each year to “recharge, to be reminded of the magic we’re all creating, and to walk alongside women who lift each other up.” That kind of connection fuels not just her business, but her spirit.

Ruth Kent calls Ignite her sacred annual ritual. “It’s my space to recap, renew, and reassess so I can move forward with intention. I go to give and receive, and I’ve never been let down.” For her, it’s both a safe harbor and a catalyst, filled with inspiration from the stage and encouragement from the women in the room.

For Viveka von Rosen, it’s the people that keep her coming back year after year. “The vibrant energy and shared purpose of the speakers and participants is always incredibly inspiring. Being in a room filled with accomplished women who are driven to elevate their voices has really resonated with my own mission of reinvention.”

If you’ve been feeling that knowing, that it’s time to share your voice more boldly, to grow your business in alignment with your deepest purpose, this is your room.

Early Bird tickets are available through September 1st.

Your income is never just about strategy or effort—it’s shaped by the beliefs and energy behind it. A reflection of how open we are to receiving, how connected we are to our value, how alive we are in our purpose… shaped by the stories we’ve carried for a lifetime.

Today, I’m so excited to introduce you to Jenn Beninger, one of our extraordinary speakers for this year’s Extraordinary Women Ignite Conference. Jenn shares her journey of building a 7‑figure coaching business, and the money stories she had to face, feel, and rewire to rise into the leader she is today.

In This Episode:

  • Jenn Beninger shares how rewriting your unconscious money stories can transform not just your income, but the way you lead, love, and thrive as a purpose‑driven entrepreneur.
  • Why the smartest business strategies won’t stick until you uncover and rewire the subconscious beliefs and childhood money stories silently shaping your choices—and how true abundance begins with reclaiming your suppressed genius.
  • How to break repeating patterns—in love, money, and business—by going beyond mindset tips into deep unconscious healing that changes what (and who) you attract.
  • Jenn’s real story of starting with just $7,000 and building a thriving multi‑seven‑figure business—revealing why every new income level demands shedding old identities, rewriting invisible money stories, and leaning on coaching and community to see what you can’t see alone.
  • A preview of her Ignite talk, The Wealth Code—where she’ll guide you to reprogram limiting beliefs and unlock wealth in every area: money, health, relationships, and self‑expression—so you can finally step into your true genius and let your light shine.

Let’s talk leadership.

Not the kind defined by titles or org charts. I’m talking about the leadership you live every day—the kind that shows up in the way you hold space for others, the way you speak your truth even when it’s uncomfortable, the way you quietly stand up for what matters.

You might not always name it. You might not always feel like a leader. But that doesn’t make it any less true.

Leadership shows up in your presence, in the choices you make, in the vision you carry, and the way you move people—through your words, your actions, and your example. It lives in how you guide your clients, how you support your team, how you serve your community, how you raise your family.

It’s not something you wait for. It’s not something someone hands to you.

It’s already in you.

Still, I know that for so many women, the word leader can feel like something out there… something reserved for someone else. And yet, the truth is: you’ve been leading all along.

So let’s pause and get curious.
Who are you as a leader?
Where are you already leading—in your business, in your life, in the rooms where your voice carries weight?
What is your leadership asking you to say, more boldly and visibly?
Where is your voice most needed right now?

Now more than ever—we’re not talking about business as usual. We’re not in a season of change—we’re in a change of eras. The old playbooks are unraveling. And in this moment of uncertainty and possibility, the world needs a new kind of leadership.

Your kind.

Rooted. Visionary. Wise.
Not loud for the sake of being loud, but impactful. Intentional. Embodied.

This kind of leadership doesn’t wait for permission. It arises from presence, from clarity, and from your willingness to let your voice be heard.

So I’ll leave you with this:

How do you want to show up in leadership right now?
What bold move is ready to come through you in the next 30 days?

You don’t have to become something you’re not.
You just have to remember who you already are.

A leader.

Today, I’m thrilled to welcome Cecily Sommers, globally recognized futurist. She teaches leaders how to read the patterns of change—so they can lead with wisdom in a world reinventing itself. We talk about Change Literacy, the spiral nature of transformation (a theme close to my heart from Firedancer), and how to stop trying to figure out the future—and start learning how to follow it.

In This Episode:

  • Cecily’s unexpected journey from professional dancer to futurist — and how the fusion of art and science shaped her gift for making sense of change
  • Why we’re not just living through a time of change — we’re in a change of eras — and how leaders can cultivate anticipatory intelligence to navigate it with clarity and purpose
  • How the natural cycle of order, disorder, and reorder reveals what’s expiring and what’s emerging — and why tuning into this cycle is essential for growth and transformation
  • Why the future isn’t “figure-outable” — it’s followable — and how learning to sense and respond to change gives us agency in uncertain times
  • The four societal forces — Resources, Technology, Demographics, and Governance — that drive every major shift, and how leaders can scan for the signals that matter most
  • How foresight cultivates wisdom, humility, and ethical leadership by helping us align inner purpose with outer transformation
  • Why staying curious, experimenting, and following what makes you feel most alive is the key to staying resilient and relevant in a rapidly changing world

Cecily Sommers is a business futurist, keynote speaker, and best-selling author of Think Like a Futurist. She helps leaders decode disruption and lead with clarity through Change Literacy—the ability to understand and apply the universal patterns of change. A two-time TEDx speaker, Cecily has advised top global organizations including Google, Salesforce, and JPMorgan Chase. Her book Think Like a Futurist was named a “Top 25: What Corporate America Is Reading” and honored for “Most Significant Futures Work.” Named one of the “World’s Top 50 Female Futurists” by Forbes and Wired, she’s also a contributor to NPR’s All Things Considered.

I love summer. The warmth. The open windows. The barefoot mornings with coffee on the deck. The slow sips of life we get to take in this season.

And yes—there’s a natural rhythm of slowing down that summer invites. I wrote about this a few weeks ago, and I’m all for honoring that rhythm. We need it.

But let’s not confuse slowing down with stopping.

Too often, I see women entrepreneurs go quiet in the summer—and all the beautiful momentum they’ve created fizzles out. Their pipeline dries up. Their voice fades in the noise. And come fall, they’re scrambling to rebuild what they already had.

What if this summer could feel spacious and strategic?

Here’s how to keep your energy—and your business—alive while still savoring the sunshine:

1. Decide what you want to keep.

Look at the rhythm of your summer and ask: What do I want to keep alive for my clients and my community? Maybe it’s a weekly teaching. A podcast. A loving email. What message do they still need to hear from you? You don’t need to be everywhere—but staying visible in ways that feel nourishing will keep the ember glowing. Be intentional. Let your voice be the thread that keeps your presence felt.

2. Lean into your systems.

This is where your marketing ecosystem becomes your summer best friend. When you’ve taken the time to build a foundation—processes, consistent content, a strong client attraction flow—it buys you freedom. It lets you show up without the scramble. This is the power of systems: they let your business breathe with you. If something feels heavy right now, ask yourself: Is this something I can simplify, delegate, or automate? Give yourself the gift of support.

3. Don’t let your pipeline die.

Momentum doesn’t just happen—it’s cultivated. One of my amazing clients, Ruth Kent, committed just a few intentional hours a week to nurturing her pipeline this month. The result? In just three weeks, her pipeline grew from $400 to over $22,000, which turned into sales totaling over $20K. Why? Because she stayed in motion, stayed connected, and kept her business alive through relationship. Consistent nurturing of your pipeline—especially in the quieter months—builds lasting prosperity.

4. Be creative with how you do your days.

Let go of the either/or thinking. Last Thursday, we boated in the morning, I had lunch with my hubby, and I was home and fresh for a 2:00 pm Soul+Strategy Mastermind training on creating lucrative online events. It all fit. When you’re intentional with your energy and plan for what matters, you can make room for life and legacy.

5. Let technology simplify and support your voice.

This is one of the most exciting times to be a business owner. AI—when used with intention and soul—can help simplify your content creation, streamline communication, and bring your authentic voice to life. It’s not about replacing your wisdom; it’s about amplifying it. Imagine mapping out a lead magnet, outlining a podcast episode, or drafting a social post in half the time—so you have more space for what truly matters. Used wisely, technology helps you scale your voice with your humanity intact—and build a business that breathes with you.

6. Keep showing up—on your terms.

It’s not just about one post or a checkbox. This is about connection, rhythm, and resonance. How are you weaving your voice, your presence, and your work into the world right now? Keep inviting your people into the journey. Whether it’s your podcast, your offers, your events, or your teachings—make sure your brilliance is seen. Stay visible. Stay present. Stay in the ripple.

Let this be the summer where your joy and your business grow together. Where rest fuels clarity. Where visibility still leads to opportunity. And where you stay in the dance—your way.

A few weeks back, I did an online retreat with my friend and brilliant guide Tracy Litt—and she asked a question that really stayed with me:

“What are you currently trying to hold?”

It was simple… and pointed.

And as I turned inward, I realized just how much I’d been energetically holding up:

Success.
Forward momentum.
My clients’ success.
Money.
What’s happening in the world.
Responsibility for others.
Even my image (yikes).

When I wrote down each of these items, I could feel the heaviness of each one—the weight and tension on my shoulders, the worry in my gut, the noise in my mind.

And as I explored letting go, I felt a softening and an opening—remembering that I am exactly where I am meant to be at this time.

And in that moment, trust replaced the tension.

I brought this same question into one of my mastermind circles this week, and I watched a visible softening unfold as each woman explored her own version of holding.

It takes practice to tune into this softening. And since that retreat, I’ve found myself returning to the practice more frequently—and feeling the expansiveness that comes with it.

Here’s what that’s looked like in my world lately:

  • CEO time on my summer deck creating and focusing on projects that light me up
  • Deep presence with clients (my favorite place to be fully attuned)
  • Morning walks without a podcast or earbuds—just birdsong and breeze
  • Quiet, reflective time with my horses, who show me exactly where I’m at energetically
  • A weekend of family wedding celebrations—dance floors, paddleboats, and pure joy

In all these moments, the practice of simply being has invited a sense of spaciousness—a softening, a loosening of the grip, and a return to presence.

When we let go of needing to control it all—our bodies tell us.
Our nervous systems ease.
We stop overthinking and comparing.
We stop bracing.

We return to presence, joy, expansion.

And from that grounded presence… we begin to see more clearly the world around us—what’s shifting, what’s needed, and how we’re being called to show up.

A few days ago, I recorded an Extraordinary Women Radio episode with futurist Cecily Sommers (airing in two weeks—don’t miss it!). Our conversation brought even more clarity to what I’ve been feeling lately—that in the face of change, we instinctively try to hold more… control more… do more.

But the real invitation is to do the opposite.

To pause.
To soften.
To root back into who we are.

We talked about how we navigate change—not by bracing, but by being.
How we stay grounded in our own wisdom.
And how we ask the essential question:

“How can I be relevant?”

Cecily offered such a grounded perspective—one that mirrors something I’ve always believed: that in times of uncertainty or chaos, the first step isn’t to do more, it’s to come back to yourself.

Check in with yourself first.
Not the headlines. Not the noise.
You.

How’s your energy?
What are you holding?
What needs to soften?

When we pause long enough to ask those questions, we reconnect with our gifts—our medicine for these times. The truth of who we are and why we’re here becomes clearer.

And then from that grounded place, we can ask:
How can I meet this moment?
What does my community need?
What wants to be expressed through me now?

That’s the heart of true leadership. Not performance. Not perfection.
But presence.

So this is what I invite you to consider this week:

✨ What are you trying to hold?
✨ Where can you soften your grip?
✨ And what might open up if you did?

As we close out May, I can feel the shift.

After a two-month season of high visibility — four speaking gigs, a roundtable, a masterclass, eight podcast episodes (my own and guest spots!), thoughtful time spent supporting my mastermind, and welcoming amazing new clients into my world — I’m feeling the fullness of spring. Not “busy,” but full. Alive. Rooted in the fire of visibility.

And my clients have been right there with me — lighting up stages, showing up for their people, and shining bright in their own aligned ways. There’s a collective exhale we’ve all shared… “Yes, this is what aligned growth feels like.”

Spring has a rhythm of coming out. Bursting forth. Sharing what’s been germinating all winter.

And now, as June opens the door, I feel the pace softening. There’s more spaciousness on the calendar. Fewer moving parts. I can breathe more deeply. And it reminds me of something important:

Our businesses have a rhythm. Our marketing has a rhythm. And we do, too.

Over the years, I’ve come to trust the natural rhythm of how my business moves through the seasons. There’s a cadence I’ve created that feels supportive and alive. One month, I host a roundtable with collaborative partners. The next, I lead a masterclass. It’s a drumbeat of connection and visibility that keeps growing stronger.

Fall brings Ignite — our signature conference, now in its 11th year — with its own pulse and magic. And the stages and podcasts? They flow into my world naturally, not because I chase them, but because I’ve built a community rooted in referrals and relationships.

When I look at it all together — the events, the speaking, the collaborations — it’s not random. It’s a rhythm. An ecosystem built on intention and flow.

I’ve come to realize it’s not just the rhythm itself — it’s the contrast within the rhythm that fuels me. The dance between bold visibility and intentional stillness. The springtime surge and the summertime spaciousness. That’s where the magic lives. That’s when marketing becomes a joy — a natural extension of connection and conversation, not a chore.

When I reflect on my energy and personal rhythm, it looks something like this:
🌸 Spring is visibility — emerging, expanding, being seen.
☀️ Summer is spacious — grounded momentum, deeper listening, and devoted time for bringing ideas to life with intention.
🍂 Fall is go time — high harvest, big launches, bold moves.
❄️ Winter is deep creation — strategy, visioning, foundations.

This is mine — and yours might be different.

So I’m inviting you to tune in:

✨ Where are you in your rhythm right now — and is it supporting the business you truly want?
✨ What season are you in — personally and professionally — and is it aligned with how you’re showing up?
✨ How well is your marketing ecosystem reflecting the business you really want to grow — and the woman you’re becoming?

If these questions stir something — if you’re noticing a gap between your current rhythm and the business you’re longing to build — I’d love to hear your reflections.

Send them to me, and if it feels aligned, I’d be happy to hop on a call to explore how we might work together.

Let’s find the rhythm that brings your vision to life.

I am fortunate to get to speak to hundreds of women entrepreneurs every year, and I hear it time and time again. Women want to have businesses that not only generate prosperity for their lives and homes but also provide the time freedom to live a life built around what’s important to them. They want to do business differently.

If you’ve been tuning in to me at all over the past year, you’ve heard me speak about creating more time prosperity and wealth prosperity in your business. Today, I want to talk about what this means… what are the foundations that you need in your business to bring about more time prosperity and wealth prosperity, and what you need to do to set this up for your business.

But what do these terms really mean, and how can they transform our approach to business and life?

Understanding Time Prosperity

Time prosperity is about creating spaciousness in our schedules, allowing for big-picture thinking, downtime, and self-care. It’s the practice of ensuring that our lives are not constantly rushed, giving our nervous systems the chance to rest and rejuvenate. This slower, more deliberate pace enables us to transition smoothly between work and personal time, preventing burnout and promoting overall well-being.

In practical terms, time prosperity means setting boundaries, simplifying our business, saying no to non-essential tasks, and prioritizing what truly matters. It’s about designing our days with intention, carving out moments for reflection, creativity, and rest. This approach not only enhances our productivity but also enriches our personal lives, providing the balance we need to thrive.

Embracing Wealth Prosperity

Wealth prosperity goes beyond the traditional notion of financial success. While making money is important, wealth prosperity encompasses a broader, more holistic view of abundance. It involves enriching every aspect of our lives, from investing in meaningful experiences and nurturing relationships to prioritizing personal growth and self-discovery.

This type of prosperity allows us to create a life filled with joy, fulfillment, and freedom. It’s about having the resources and opportunities to pursue our passions, support our loved ones, and give back to our communities. Wealth prosperity encourages us to use our financial success as a tool to enhance our overall quality of life and make a positive impact in the world.

The Journey to Building a Prosperous Business

Building a business that supports both time and wealth prosperity is no easy feat. It requires time, patience, and, yes, hard work. I often speak with hundreds of women entrepreneurs each year, and a common theme emerges: success is not handed to us on a silver platter. It’s earned through dedication, resilience, and a willingness to navigate challenges.

The women I encounter in my community are living proof that we can do hard things. They’ve faced obstacles, celebrated victories, and continuously evolved their businesses.

As we navigate this exciting new era in business, I encourage you to reflect on what time and wealth prosperity mean for you. How can you create more space in your life for what truly matters? How can you use your financial resources to enrich your life and the lives of others?

Join me at the 10th Anniversary Extraordinary Women Ignite Conference, where we’ll delve deeper into these concepts and explore practical strategies to build businesses that embody time and wealth prosperity. This event is a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded women, learn from inspiring leaders, and ignite your passion for making a difference.

Let’s embrace the power of time and wealth prosperity, and together, create a future where our businesses not only succeed but also support our well-being and joy.

We’re in the midst of a monumental shift, where women’s wisdom is emerging as the medicine our earth truly needs. This isn’t just a trend; it’s a fundamental change in how we approach life and business. It’s about integrating work and living in a way that truly works for us, moving away from traditional, rigid structures to a more balanced, harmonious way of living and working. Success is now measured not just by financial gain but by the richness of our lives and the impact we make.

Back in 2021, I shared a profound story on Extraordinary Women Radio about this very shift. Indigenous elders, like Dr. Anita Sanchez, have long spoken of this transformative era. During an interview with Dr. Sanchez, she discussed her book, The Four Sacred Gifts: Indigenous Wisdom for Modern Times, and shared insights from a gathering with thirteen indigenous elders in Kauai. They predicted these intense times and emphasized the important role women would play in leading this energetic shift from masculine-dominant systems to a balanced blend of feminine and masculine energies.

This isn’t just about astrology or planetary alignments, though those shifts are happening too! It’s about acknowledging the real, palpable change in how we approach business, leadership, and life. The energy is indeed shifting, and we, as women, are being called to step into our power, our voice, and embrace our gifts, leading with authenticity and compassion.

What Does It Mean to Do Business Differently?

For too long, the business world has focused on competition, relentless growth, and profit at all costs. While these elements are not inherently negative, they often lead to burnout, a lack of work-life balance, and a disconnection from what truly matters. As women, we bring a unique perspective that values collaboration, empathy, and sustainability.

Doing business differently means prioritizing relationships over transactions. It means building connections with our clients, colleagues, and communities that are based on mutual respect and genuine care. We focus on creating environments where everyone can thrive, where success is shared, and where there’s room for everyone’s voice and ideas.

It also means embracing a holistic approach to success. We measure our achievements not just by the bottom line but by the quality of our lives, the joy we experience, and the positive impact we have on the world. This shift is about integrating our personal and professional lives in a way that honors all aspects of who we are.

The Role of Intuition and Heart-Centered Leadership

Another key aspect of doing business differently is embracing intuition and heart-centered leadership. This involves trusting our instincts, listening to our inner voice, and making decisions that align with our values and purpose. It’s about leading with empathy and compassion, understanding that business is not just about numbers but about people—real human beings with hopes, dreams, and challenges.

Heart-centered leadership means creating a culture of inclusivity and support, where people feel valued and empowered to bring their whole selves to work. It’s about being transparent, ethical, and accountable, building trust through our actions and words.

Creating a Ripple Effect of Positive Change

As more women step into leadership roles, we are creating a ripple effect of positive change. We are challenging outdated norms and proving that there is another way to succeed—a way that is inclusive, compassionate, and sustainable. We are redefining what it means to be powerful, showing that true power comes from being authentic, empathetic, and collaborative.

In this new paradigm, we are not just building businesses; we are building movements. We are creating communities that uplift and inspire, where we support each other in our journeys and celebrate each other’s successes. We are making a difference not just in our own lives but in the world around us.

Now more than ever, it’s time for us to embrace this new way of doing business. Let’s harness the power of our collective wisdom, our unique gifts, and our shared vision for a better world. Let’s continue to lead with heart, compassion, and authenticity, creating businesses that not only bring prosperity but also contribute to the well-being of our communities and our planet.

I invite you to join me at the 10th Anniversary Extraordinary Women Ignite Conference, where we’ll dive deep into how we can do business differently. This event is not just a conference; it’s a gathering of like-minded women who are passionate about creating a new paradigm in business. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies and soulful insights to build businesses that are not only successful but also aligned with our values and dreams.

At Ignite, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with an inspiring community of women, learn from thought leaders, and discover how to integrate Soul+Strategy into your business. It’s a chance to recharge, refocus, and reignite your passion for making a difference.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a movement that is reshaping the business landscape. Let’s do business differently, and let’s do it together. Join us at Extraordinary Women Ignite and be a part of this transformative experience.

Today we celebrate our 300th episode of Extraordinary Women Radio and we’re focused on a new paradigm of entrepreneurship that is grounded in both soul and strategy. The shift to leading our businesses with a more feminine, abundant approach creates more time prosperity and wealth prosperity as we build businesses and lives that we love.

The beauty of this new paradigm of business is that we are creating and building businesses that start with the soul fire and are guided to marketing approaches, aligning with connection and collaboration, and conversations. Women’s wisdom is leading the way. We are raising up our vision, our voices, and our visibility to create a ripple effect of impact on the world, one soul business at a time.

In this episode:

  • I talk about the different journeys we’ve had during the pandemic and how it shifted the way we run our business and how we live our lives
  • How listening to our soul wisdom brings choices, simplification, and new strategies
  • Why women are getting laser focused on a single client journey with a very simplified scope of products serving to help that client
  • The importance of collaboration over competition
  • How visibility strategies changed
  • Why we can’t outsource our leadership of thought
  • That self-care is a newly learned skill set for all the women

I am a big fan of the work of the Women’s Foundation across our nation. I have sat on the trustee board and served the Colorado Women’s Foundation for over a decade. And while I am an honorary trustee now and no longer an active board member, I believe in its mission and vision more than ever. A future where Colorado women and girls of every background and identity prosper.
Some of the proudest professional moments of my life are sparked by my engagement with the Women’s Foundation of Colorado. The work the organization is making from philanthropic giving, meaningful research and essential advocacy work, to creating systematic changes in our state is near and dear to my heart.

As we wrap up this Women’s History Month, I’m excited to introduce you to Christina Gordon, a co-founder and CEO of the Women’s Foundation of Boston. When Christina reached out to me for an interview, I was an instant yes! She had come across research that had indicated that only 1.9% of all charitable giving in the US is directed toward nonprofits that serve women and girls and that investing in women is high-impact investing. The data shows that investing in women has a multiplier effect. Women reinvest 90% of their incomes in their families and their communities, creating positive economic returns across generations and throughout communities.

In This Episode:

  • Christina talks about how they started the Women’s Foundation of Boston
  • The massive underinvestment in women and girls domestically
  • How they impacted thousands of Greater Boston women and girls
  • Their mission on creating and funding economically empowering programming for Greater Boston women and girls
  • She enumerated how they support women and girls
  • Their focus of funding on programming that will really yield high salaries
  • She shares one of the stories from an organization they funded that stands out for her
  • Why investing in women has lifted up entire communities

Christina Gordon is a former assistant fund manager and technology industry equity analyst. Seeing a huge opportunity to make a difference in her community, she and her team joined together to start the Women’s Foundation of Boston. She is a trustee of a private foundation, a member of Women Moving Millions and currently sits on the board of Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women in Boston.

And I am so honored by the many extraordinary women who are entering my mastermind programs as we kick off this new year – some women new to me, and others I’ve known for years and am honored they have chosen me as their guide in this new year. I’m excited for the voices that will come into the world… in leadership, in thought, in impact. As I look across the businesses represented in the circles, I know that their work is needed in the world and that there are people awaiting to find them… right now. I’m excited about the expansion of their business and what that will mean to their lives, and the lives of those touched by her work… It’s the ripple effect and it’s why I love the work I get to do in this world. There’s still time to join us, so if you want to learn more jump out to coachingwithkami.com and apply.

These past few weeks have given me time to reflect on what has worked in my business and my client’s businesses, as well as look at the trends I see coming.

Today, I thought I’d bring some of these insights to you.

  1. The Great BreakupThere are many reasons why more and more women are saying goodbye to their corporate jobs and stepping into the world of being an entrepreneur according to McKinsey’s recent research. Women leaders are just as ambitious as men and it’s increasingly important that they work for companies that prioritize flexibility, employee well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

It will be 15 years this year since I left my VP of Marketing job behind me, and it’s been the most tremendous journey of growth, evolution, and expansion than I have ever gone on in my life. The ripple effect of my work today is tremendously more impactful than it ever was during my corporate days.

I believe this trend of women leaving their corporate jobs to own their own voice and impact will continue. We have discovered new freedoms, new power, and new ways to lead – and that is one of the gifts we give our world as we learn to show up in the world in our new light.

I love that I have discovered a sweet spot in my own business of helping former corporate escapees accelerate their growth back to their former corporate salaries, leveraging our past success and communities, but doing it in an entirely different energy… one connected to soul wisdom and leading in new ways… defining a slower and more grounded way in life, trusting our intuition and letting her guide us… a journey to time prosperity and wealth prosperity!

  1. Streamline and SimplifySavvy successful entrepreneurs will continue to streamline and simplify their businesses in smart ways.

They’ve built smart and scalable business models that solve their soul client’s biggest challenges. They have found clarity in their voice – their brand and marketing messaging, because there is laser-focused clarity in who they serve and what their biggest needs are.

Some questions you might ask yourself as you look into your 2023 include: Are there products you want to release in 2023? Have you mapped your customer journey – why people come into your business, what their most expensive problems are, what their biggest desires are? How do these answers shift as they go deeper into their journey with you? Do you have a high-value offer that helps your client in that journey?

I invite you to look at your brand, your marketing, and your products and ask yourself these questions. It’s a great opportunity to finetune some of these fundamental basics in your business. We always have space to refine our businesses, no matter the stage of your business.

  1. Community and Deeper ConnectionI see the expanding importance of relationships and community. What’s key here is the relationship. Where and how can you build deeper relationships? This isn’t a high-volume game, but rather, selecting a community where you feel alignment and connection. Building your own communities. Getting to know people at a deeper level. Building strategic partnerships.

As you look at your own circles of community, start with your own community – how are you engaging your clients and circles of influence? Are there ways you can bring more magic to that space? How can you create more meaningful connections among the many in your circles?

Then look to the communities in which you are a member. Here I will remind you to simplify, for you can’t build deep connections with a half dozen communities all at once. Remember the key is relationship. Select 1 or 2 and then engage… deeply.

  1. Thought LeadershipYou can’t outsource your leadership of thought. Only you can bring your wisdom to life. It is only you that has your unique set of experiences that makes your wisdom yours.

What does this mean? It means making dedicated space in your business to think. To brainstorm. To mindmap. To write. To bring your ideas to life.

Once you have a framework around your ideas and messages … I call this a content strategy … you can leverage hired resources to share these ideas, but the compilation of voice and vision is yours to design. I’ve seen too many people… myself included… turn over their marketing and messaging before it was really ready to be leadership quality… and what happens is that the message just gets lost in the noise. You sound like everyone else, and you lose your beautiful, soulful connection to some of your most powerful wisdom.

In our world where information flows readily and easily, we are inundated with so many messages. In order to stand out from the noise, the leaders of today and tomorrow will be the ones who have found clarity in meaningful content and stories that connect to their audience. Make the space for you to be in your thought leadership messaging. Build upon it. Speak to it. And repurpose it.

  1. ResiliencyThis ties back to #1 on this list for sure. The women leaving corporate America left because they were burnt out and exhausted from trying to fit into a culture that didn’t work for them.

I know that it’s really easy to fall back into the doing it all patterns that we started as executives, and apply this to our business. And the truth is … we can’t do our best work if we allow that to happen. In fact, when I say that Women’s Wisdom is the medicine our earth needs, I am speaking of how we are changing and leading the work cultures of tomorrow.

What I see happening in the world of women entrepreneurs is that they are catching themselves when they start to fall back into these old patterns, and they are redesigning ways of operating their businesses, making self-care space for themselves – in mindfulness, movement, and spirituality. They are learning to listen to her inner wisdom and intuition and allowing her to be a key influence in her day-to-day decisions. Basically, her intuition is taking a seat at her board table, along with her mentors and strategic partners.

As women, we are shapeshifting how business is done… with soul and with strategy. We are getting better at setting boundaries, saying no, and defining our own pathways – for the sake of ourselves and our families first, and our communities and our world second. This is why women’s wisdom is the medicine our earth needs.

And in order to step into our calling, we have to tend to our inner light first. And from this space, we create our own resiliency and the resiliency of businesses for the future.

Tell me how you will be shifting in your world for 2023, let me know how I can support you in your journey to wild success, and connect with me.
