We've had so many grey days with cold, wind and rain howling around us and very often Shorty finds that it affects his mood. When that happens he has some small comfort from hiding in his garage. He can sit or pace with some comfort food, watch the weather assault the world so randomly and wonder why he feels like the weather.
At times like this the world seems so deserted, like an empty film lot. His own failures seem to weigh down on him and he wonders.
In this verse, Greyone confesses his loneliness and allows the weather to shape his mood

As I sit looking out at the Christmas card scene unfolding in my garden, I recall that this week is the final parade marking winter.
Our second Winter Watch Parade involves a host of artists dressed in various fantastic costumes and escorted by a unit of Roman Soldiers.
To mark this event I have recorded two podcasts. The first is with the artists warming up and the second is the start of their parade.

Shorty's regular weekly shopping trip starts with a long walk out on a grey and wet Saturday morning. Equipped only with his backpack, trusty (& cheap) shopping trolley and a heart full of hope.
