Love On Your Brain: Recent Episodes

Lashmi Vizcaino

The Love on Your Brain podcast will focus on the importance of bringing awareness to mental health in the daily lives of the Black and Latinx communities. Being a part of the new generation of young adults and becoming the leaders in society, I want to be apart of the help in prioritizing mental health. With this podcast I will bring more accessibility in and outside the home to proper resources and tips needed to focus on self care.

Hey my loves, I'm trying something new with the video podcast ahhh!! I had soooo much fun editing it. Please excuse my audio my Yeti Microphone didn't line up with the video so I just used it from my video recording.

This week I'm telling my study abroad story, where I went in South America, what fun adventures I got into, people I met, why I went abroad, etc. This was a special time in my life and I thought it was time to share a little bit of my story.

Next week I'll be spilling tea on my personal experience!

Moral of the story, comparing yourself to others around you only makes your life harder. Look in the mirror, be honest with yourself on what you need to change, and most importantly love yourself through it all. Enjoy this episode y'all!

Here's a look into what goes onto my head, who else can relate? I know I was repetitive and making up words, but you get the picture. Moral of the story: don't take life so seriously, remember to love yourself today. Enjoy the episode!

Happy Friday y'all! This episode is the introduction to my College Series, inspired by my Junior Year research paper I wrote back in 2020. In this series I will be discussing the impact University has on the mental health of 5 of my peers who I did a FaceTime interview with (due to Quarantine), and what they did to cope with the stress caused by being a First-Generation College Student. Shoutout to current students who are also First-Generation, this one is for you <3 Enjoy!!
