Dewayne Noel has been living the horse life for over 30 years as a professional and private owner. A husband of 30 years, the father of 7 grown children, and "Grumpa" to many grandchildren, this life experience cannot be separated from the reality of who he is and often makes its way into the mix. As a Christian with a varied and unique history in ministry and law enforcement, he also brings these life experiences to the table. It is not the purpose of this podcast to present "the" way to do anything but rather to use simple logic and experience to try and help others who might be looking for answers. It does not always offer direct answers to certain questions but instead humbly seeks to show a road one might go down to find the answers they need for themselves.

There are some very dangerous trends in the world today, especially in the world of advising and helping young people find their way. One of the most deceptive and dangerous trends in my opinion is Andrew Tate, and the worldview that he is spouses and puts out very vigorously. I do not use this channel to attack people, that’s not my heart, and it has never been my way. But it is my heart to warn young people of dangers and traps and to point out the truth. Sometimes we spend so much trying to build in our life what we don’t have that we neglect to understand that a lot of things we need as a person we already have. We just have it covered up. It doesn’t matter how often we train our horse or how hard we train our horse, if we do not work them to the point that they get tired, we are wasting our time. You cannot make a good horse without wet saddle blankets. The same is true for our children. Many emotional and mental problems that children have can often be solved with happy physical exertion. And, of course, the same thing goes for us. You cannot always win the war in one instance. But if you focus all of your attention and your energy on one bottle of that war, and then, when you win that battle pick another battle, eventually, you can win the war. We get frustrated with our horses or our spouse or our children because there are so many things that we are trying to fix. But often all we need to do is just pick one thing and focus on that and address that. And we can take care the rest of it later. Instead of looking at where we want to go, what we want to be, or what we want to do, and shrugging and saying “I just don’t have the resources for that”, we should go through the effort and the time of creating the resources. And then, once we have the resources that we have created, we can apply those resources to the life that we want. And this has very little to do with money.
