A surprising number of people believe that God is judging us right now. We are not under God's judgement. God has simply removed His hand from us because we follow only evil and have completely turned away from Him as a nation. We have became a word as known in Genesis 6:5 where "The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually".
God will judge us, but a just God will cannot judge justly by judging evil with evil, wicked with wicked.

In this series I will share something from my daily Bible reading and devotion.
Today I am in Romans 10:14 talking remaining faithful and diligent to share the word of God. If we don't speak, people cannot hear.
"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not hear? And how shall they hear without a preacher?"- Romans 10:14
My goal is to share a verse or short passage and how it can be made applicable to our daily lives, starting with my own.
In the resolution video that I created for the new year, I made a comment about reading your Bible and giving God more than 15 minutes of your day.
I want to clarify that statement by saying that if you read more than 15 minutes a day then that is great, but we should be doing more than just reading.
We should be studying and searching the scriptures, not just reading words on a page.

This video was inspired from a post I saw on Facebook. It is impossible to be following a divine plan while still following your heart. The universe is not divine and it will never bring you anything. Do not be deceived by your heart. The only way to follow a Divine Plan is to crucify the flesh and follow Christ. There is only one God and His plan is the only plan that is divine, and he is the only being that can create positive change in your life. To put your faith or believe in anything else as a divine being or higher power is to believe in nothing.

It seems like a very daunting task to read your Bible. As daunting and as challenging as it may seems, it is not as hard as it appears to be and is one of the most important things you can do, and also one of the most fulfilling things that you can do.
I challenge you to read it at a minimum once a year, but I encourage you to spend more time reading and read it multiple times a year. In addition to reading, spend time studying what it actually says. Don't just read the words on a page and call it a day. Study it and apply it to your every day routine.

Pastor Silva has been serving at Calvary Chapel Deming for 14 years and has been the Senior Pastor for the past 5 years.
