We cannot obtain the benefits of the cross, without bearing the burden of the cross.
Luke 9:23
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
Romans 8:28
Hebrews 12:4-9
Isaiah 55:9
The bad things that you didn't ask for are NOT the defining moments of your life. How you respond to Jesus redeeming them are the defining moments of your life.
Romans 5:1-5 – “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”
Romans 8
31 What should we say then? Since God is on our side, who can be against us? 32 God did not spare his own Son. He gave him up for us all. Then won’t he also freely give us everything else? 33 Who can bring any charge against God’s chosen ones? God makes us right with himself. 34 Then who can sentence us to death? No one. Christ Jesus is at the right hand of God and is also praying for us. He died. More than that, he was raised to life. 35 Who can separate us from Christ’s love? Can trouble or hard times or harm or hunger? Can nakedness or danger or war? 36 It is written,
“Because of you, we face death all day long.
We are considered as sheep to be killed.” (Psalm 44:22)
“Jesus looked up and saw a large crowd coming toward him. So he said to Philip, “Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?” He asked this only to test Philip. He already knew what he was going to do. Philip answered him, “Suppose we were able to buy enough bread for each person to have just a bite. That would take more than half a year’s pay!” 'Another of his disciples spoke up. It was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He said, “Here is a boy with five small loaves of barley bread. He also has two small fish. But how far will that go in such a large crowd?” ' John 6:5-9 NIRV
Luke 5:12-14 NIV
“While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him. Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
We live in a world — and often in church culture — where people feel pressure to put on a smile, to
always say “I’m good,” or “I’m blessed” even when they’re not. But the Bible never demands fake
positivity. In fact, God’s Word consistently shows us that grief, discouragement, and seasons of just
“being okay” are a normal part of the human journey.
Acts 16
13 On the Sabbath day we went outside the city gate. We walked down to the river. There we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered together. 14 One of the women listening was from the city of Thyatira. Her name was Lydia, and her business was selling purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to accept Paul’s message. 15 She and her family were baptized. Then she invited us to her home. “Do you consider me a believer in the Lord?” she asked. “If you do, come and stay at my house.” She succeeded in getting us to go home with her.
Ephesians 2
19 So you are no longer outsiders and strangers. You are citizens together with God’s people. You are also members of God’s family. 20 You are a building that is built on the apostles and prophets. They are the foundation. Christ Jesus himself is the most important stone in the building. 21 The whole building is held together by him. It rises to become a holy temple because it belongs to the Lord. 22 And because you belong to him, you too are being built together. You are being made into a house where God lives through his Spirit.
Mark 10
17 As he went out into the street, a man came running up, greeted him with great reverence, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to get eternal life?”
18-19 Jesus said, “Why are you calling me good? No one is good, only God. You know the commandments: Don’t murder, don’t commit adultery, don’t steal, don’t lie, don’t cheat, honor your father and mother.”
20 He said, “Teacher, I have—from my youth—kept them all!”
21 Jesus looked him hard in the eye and loved him! He said, “There’s one thing left: Go sell whatever you own and give it to the poor. All your wealth will then be heavenly wealth. And come follow me.”
22 The man’s face clouded over. This was the last thing he expected to hear, and he walked off with a heavy heart. He was holding on tight to a lot of things, and not about to let go.
23-25 Looking at his disciples, Jesus said, “Do you have any idea how difficult it is for people who ‘have it all’ to enter God’s kingdom?” The disciples couldn’t believe what they were hearing, but Jesus kept on: “You can’t imagine how difficult. I’d say it’s easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for the rich to get into God’s kingdom.”
26 That got their attention. “Then who has any chance at all?” they asked.
27 Jesus was blunt: “No chance at all if you think you can pull it off by yourself. Every chance in the world if you let God do it.”
1 Samuel 9:15
15Now the day before Saul came, the Lord had revealed this to Samuel: “About this time tomorrow I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin. Anoint him ruler over my people Israel; he will deliver them from the hand of the Philistines. I have looked on my people, for their cry has reached me.” 17 When Samuel caught sight of Saul, the Lord said to him, “This is the man I spoke to you about; he will govern my people.”
Who will run?
'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.' Habakkuk 2:2-3
'The kingdom of God is not a matter of talk. It is a matter of power. '
1 Corinthians 4:20
And you will know God’s great power. It can’t be compared with anything else. His power works for us who believe. It is the same mighty power God showed. He showed this when he raised Christ from the dead. God seated him at his right hand in his heavenly kingdom.
Ephesians 1:19-20
'God’s power has given us everything we need to lead a godly life. All of this has come to us because we know the God who chose us. He chose us because of his own glory and goodness. '
2 Peter 1:3
'May the God who gives hope fill you with great joy. May you have perfect peace as you trust in him. May the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope. '
Romans 15:13
Hebrews 11:8
'By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. '
Romans 4:13
'Abraham and his family received a promise. God promised that Abraham would receive the world. It would not come to him because he obeyed the law. It would come because of his faith, which made him right with God.
Romans 4:20-24
But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God. He was absolutely sure that God had the power to do what he had promised. That’s why “God accepted Abraham because he believed. So his faith made him right with God.” (Genesis 15:6) The words “God accepted Abraham’s faith” were written not only for Abraham. They were written also for us. We believe in the God who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. So God will accept our faith and make us right with himself. '
Lord, may these words of my mouth please you. And may these thoughts of my heart please you also. You are my Rock and my Redeemer.' Psalm 19:14
Life is a series of “What If?” moments. The choices we make don’t just affect today—they shape our legacy, our relationships, and even eternity.
Life has a way of putting us into “a mood”. You can either make a choice to master the mood, or the mood will master you.
Genesis 1
1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth didn’t have any shape. And it was empty. There was darkness over the surface of the waves. At that time, the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light.

One of the criminals hanging there made fun of Jesus. He said, “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself! Save us!” But the other criminal scolded him. “Don’t you have any respect for God?” he said. “Remember, you are under the same sentence of death. We are being punished fairly. We are getting just what our actions call for. But this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “What I’m about to tell you is true. Today you will be with me in paradise.” '
Luke 23:39-43
Jesus was getting into the boat. The man who had been controlled by demons begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him. He said, “Go home to your own people. Tell them how much the Lord has done for you. Tell them how kind he has been to you.” So the man went away. In the area known as the Ten Cities, (Decapolis) he began to tell how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed. '

Galatians 4:8-9
8 Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not
gods. 9 But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are
turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them
all over again?
Today, we’re diving into a story that challenges our hearts and stirs our spirits. When David brought the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem, something unexpected happened — and it all came down to one word: Familiarity.

Have you ever had your plans completely interrupted—only to realize later that God was at work in the middle of it?
In Acts 10, Peter had his world turned upside down. He had a plan, a routine, and even strong convictions about what was “clean” and “unclean.” But then, God interrupted. A vision. And suddenly, Peter found himself stepping into something far bigger than he could have imagined—the expansion of the Gospel to the nations!

Freedom, righteousness, and sanctification are not just for heaven—they are for today. True transformation happens when we move from mere knowledge of Scripture to a personal encounter with Jesus, breaking free from pretense and stepping into the fullness of His love
