I'm trying to decide whether or not to power down and buy a new squire telecaster as mine has bit the dust, it's quite a decision as i really don't want to power down and take anything from Hive at the moment.
I've just recorded the above song 'Sea Shore, I Love you More' as this is one i want to properly record next week at a friends studio.
It's a sombre song about an ex-girlfriend and mines trips to Norfolk, UK every year where my Grandparents had a house.
I miss these trips so much and it was about this time of year we'd make our first ones there.
I'm also taking a break from the jam sessions and working on improving my guitar playing during this time, i have some guitar lessons booked in.
The guitar i'm looking at getting is about £300, so it'd be a power down of most of my Hive, which i really am against doing as i only just got the Minnow badge, decisions, decisions!

I took Chloe in after her owner passed away, she's 3-4 years old and amazing!
At the time i was suffering with everything that's going on in the world it did affect my mental health, Chloe gave me reason to live.

I love playing this slow one, i find songs evolve over time, this is my latest take on it.
It always makes me think of the place i was in when writing it, still madly in love with my ex-girlfriend fondly remembering our trips to Norfolk, UK every summer. Alot has changed in the past 4 years, i can't tell if things have gotten better or worse, perhaps it equals out in the end.

You can straight away see the difference, all beit i only did one take for the live version, the produced version is absalutely fantastic in comparrison.
I tend to not be a perfectionist when it comes to recording, but i am slowly getting into it, I have just purchased Ableton Live 11.

Just started using Ableton, getting used to it all, bloody nightmare! This is my song car crash that i've played at a few open mics to a good reception, i'm getting used to using Ableton, it's quite complicated (in my opinion) but i shall percivere!

Behold 'Swing 42' - A local jazz band formed of my friends from the Arlesey Jammers, playing at a local pub for some dancers. A fantastic day spent watching the beautiful bodies dancing around to some classic jazz. I very much enjoy watching these guys play, normally enjoying a whiskey while i do so, today was the first time i've seen such enthusiasm that people were up dancing however. Something not to be missed!
