In this episode we connect EM-Core's complementary perspective with Noam Chomsky's Minimalist Program including external and internal MERGE, Agreement, and phi-features. We also explore the intrapersonal circumplex model of intrapsychic communication that is based on the interpersonal circumplex model of social behaviour.
We continue exploring the 3x3 EM-Core construct within the 4x4 Psychoeducation Tensor. We begin with examining Bayesian active inference as rational agency that updates beliefs using assimilation and accommodation. We further examine two forms of mindfulness called "focused attention" and "open monitoring," and two forms of mind wandering called "tuning out" and "zoning out." Mindfulness and mind wander are indicative of slower process EM-Core capacities.
We explore some of the fundamental psychological constructs that describe EM-Core, a 3x3 cognitive structure within the 4x4 PET global model of cognition. We describe Bayesian active inference as an internal rational agent and belief updater, and explore two forms of mindfulness and two forms of mind wandering.
