This morning, I received a rather sad news that someone who was like a guardian to me had passed on.
It was so sad because everyone knew him as a good man and he was loved by many.
While I thought of all the times he'd been there for me, I couldn't help but stay grateful that at least, I was able to meet someone like him in my lifetime.
So today, I want to do this rendition of Beautiful Day with a verse I wrote, to say that irrespective of what's happening with me and around me, I'll stay thankful.
A part of the song says "thank you for joy, thank you for pain".
This is the mantra I have chosen to live by and I hope to stay thankful forever come what may.
