The EU is at a crossroads in that the world sees it as a supranational failure of bureaucracy and potential tyranny. Israel has neighbor problems, but they will not only do what they must to survive, they will continue to pursue a Temple, and await the Messiah. The Sanhedrin met recently to petition heaven to reveal her Messiah and rebuild that third Temple. They also want the spirit of prophecy revived, but Jesus IS their Prophet, Priest, and King. What a time to be alive, to see these parallel tracks of fulfillment come ever closer to one another. The future is set by God Himself, and we are at the edge of our seats. No offense to Greeks, but it’s where we get the phrase, “beware Greeks bearing gifts” – which if you mean bible study, they have given us enough to study for a lifetime. Rather, today’s edition of SUFTT explores the finer points of Trojan Horses in our culture, which, in these highly deceptive times, are multiple. Ai, digital devices, politics, religious movements – all Trojan Horses that can deceive and derail and will ultimately bring humanity together under antichrist. We talk about Mamdani, Islam, Christianity, ravenous wolves looking like sheep – and all the ways we are being set up. But as believers, we must never be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we can discern God’s will. (Romans 12:2). Stand firm!

With the “dog days” of Summer upon us, and the Europeans still clueless as to what true Summer heat is like in the south, we bring post-Independence Day headlines. In this uniquely lazy time of year, finding connected headlines is very difficult so we have a real smorgasbord of information. Yet we can always find a way to point to God’s faithfulness and His soon return. Today we have a few thoughts on the 4th in hindsight, namely a thoughtful piece from Ken Ham about how we can sing “God Bless America” but refuse to follow Him and His commands. Then we look at some of the perils of the upcoming primary and election season, as the uber-radical left attempts to swing our nation so far left it might end up at the fascist right. We also look at the perils of allegory in Bible interpretation, and a new experimental vaccine that might just be the vaxx-to-end-all-vaxxes, which tells us one thing in particular: it was never about a virus, always about a vaxx. Yet here we are, ethically working through this thing that the whole world is coming under, as if on cue. The Bible, interestingly enough, only mentions the end game of it, we are in real time seeing its genesis. How can the prophecy student not be on the edge of their seats over this fulfillment in real time? We talk about the issues at hand that the church, which is not to be conformed to this world, had better take seriously in order to be truly effective and rely on our true source of power, the Holy Spirit.

Tim and Mary take a look at the news cycle once again, and while it generally resembles all the news cycles, one thing we can count on is that in Jesus, His mercies are new every morning; this can never be true in the world. He is the faithful one, and no matter how tiresome this world becomes, the one thing God says we need is His mercy, not more dark news about man’s inhumanity to man. So we start there, and then try and make sense of this divisive, judgment ready world. Today we look at the continued blame for everything on white men who love Jesus; Mike Huckabee’s attempt to reason with Tucker; and the world marching to the beat of Antichrist, especially in Europe where the spirit of the AC has preceded him. As interesting as it all is, and helpful to watch the times, Lamentations 3:22-26 says it all: “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I hope in Him! The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” (NKJV)

But in the case of the unknown shoe, it very much applies to that global war that seems to be always in the next news cycle. Are nations just being very cautious? Or is there more maneuvering going on? Some say that Trump and the right are warmongerers, but a case could be made that the Dems have been responsible for all the major wars of the last 150 years. Either way, whether it’s global war, civil war in the states, the economy or the Mideast, shoes could all drop at once one of these days, redefining chaos as we have known it. So far, 2026 has proven to be a challenge in that we didn’t get too far into it before we saw what seemed to be emerging as a rumours-of-war state of affairs. What will the Venezuelan action bring regarding other nations that export drugs and terror? Will Trump stop with Venezuela, or are Cuba, Mexico and Iran on the block too? What to make of a shaky start for the year? There are so many avenues to travel down, and we don’t know the general future, but we have a great roadmap in the Scriptures regarding the mountain tops of prophecy. It’s what happens in the valleys that keep us guessing, and so we do the headline thing, to keep us on our toes. A full hour, early in the new year.

Mary takes some time today to focus on the end game, geopolitically – and at what point the world runs out of real estate to do a global build-out designed for the final rebellion against Jesus Christ at His coming. The image in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the metal man depicting the significant world powers that will succeed each other from Babylon to Rome, is one of the greatest, most astonishing prophecies the world has ever been privy to. The end of the matter tells us that in the days of those Roman Empire kings, the toes of the image, the revived Roman Empire – God will set up His everlasting kingdom. As joyous as that is to think about, the process involves going from Satan’s kingdom of man that has ruled for millennia, to the righteous Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is often depicted as the birth process, birth pangs – that increase in frequency and intensity. It also can be summed up this way: “expect turbulence”, and you frequent flyers will understand that. We look at how Satan even got this world as a prize, how he fell, why he was able to offer it to Jesus – and maybe why he has saved his most awful bag of tricks for this late hour. We also look at the importance of Genesis in interpreting Revelation. Most churches don’t pay any heed to their connection, but it is incredible to see all the events that begin in Genesis having their fulfillment in Revelation. As we are on the verge of a new year, let’s be found watching and waiting, and building up our knowledge and understanding of why things are the way they are.

If I were a youth today, and if I did not have Jesus in my life, I would wonder who what and how this world got so irrevocably messed up. it’s tempting to find someone to blame, but Bible prophecy clearly tells us that this is exactly what we can expect. Nevertheless, with the knowledge of Jesus comes the knowledge of the tension between futility and hope. It’s always difficult to look at current events and come away hopeful, but that is exactly what should happen if we are focused on the Kingdom to come. We talk about 6G with David, the surveillance state, Israel, social credit scores, and much more. What will 2026 look like? We have no idea really, because the devil is in the details, yes – but God is in the big picture. Hopefully, excitement about the wrapping up of all things is contagious.

The last couple years have seen threats of bank closures and the cancelling of accounts of those the globalists don’t like, namely, conservatives and Christians. Alarming enough, but there is so much more going on, in particular the over-valuation of the stock market. We will rely on Britt to help us sort that out, along with the real estate market, Asian economics and their stock markets, and how AI will affect the economy in the next several years. According to the IMF, AI is a game changer for labor in particular, but also how considerable funds will be poured into the global markets from everything tech. Although, nothing resembles 1976 anyway but really, they will find a way to divide us further and ruin the whole event. Then along comes a woman who was married to a Schwab-ite and she blows the lid off that level of manipulation via the WEF. We also look at the soon-to-conclude Climate Summit and find out what they are up to minus US support. We talk about those powerful data centers, and why people are starting to revolt over the cost to build and to run them. From the further Islamization of Texas to Ai toys for the holiday from China, again we have to wonder to ourselves not just why things are so strange of late, but can they get any stranger?

But the real story should probably be the one about Islam which will also enslave us and cost us our head if we stand firm. American voters think that what’s best for us is always something different, but history shows that is a very dangerous mindset. According to FOX, Gen Z voted for Trump and Mamdani for the same reason: change. The level of shortsightedness here is astounding. We also talk about Kristallnacht, Yad Vashem (Holocaust museum in Israel) and more.

With the NYC mayoral behind us, many are saying the way of life in America is truly behind us as well. Aftermarket comments on social indicate people really didn’t do any research on Mayor-elect Mamdani’s beliefs, a trojan horse of Communism and Islam which will surely affect us all eventually. It’s shocking to read today’s comments from the average American, actually, wondering what all the fuss is about. Are constituents really that easily led? Even in the ‘flyover’ states, we will find that with Islam’s encroachment into Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan, the dominoes will fall eventually. We talk about what it all means at least for now, for America, Israel, and all those who love freedom. We also talk about freedom to be believers and Jews in today’s climate. Believers who have long watched prophecy never thought we would see the things we are seeing, but we are here for a reason – walk circumspectly, and occupy till He comes. He is ever on the throne.

In light of all of this, we talk about redeeming the time in a very encouraging article to start us out. Then we talk about the uniqueness of Israel – but in a way you may not have thought of because God is sovereign over ALL nations (Acts 17). More headlines – Big Food wants us all to be vegans, and they can prove it. That’s why Romans tells us that the number of fools will increase. The universe is God-centered. We have no universe of our own, but Satan is doing what he can to get his own, and here we are stuck in the middle with clowns to the left and jokers to the right. Speaking of which, what is the nature of our highly divisive, lawless world right now? Is it the Lefties? The Globalists? The Neo-Cons? Yes. All that and more.

With seemingly so many different ways in which the church has lost the plot regarding her mission, events of late dictate that perhaps the chapter in his book on falling away politically deserves a second and third look. While the church seems to think that saving the American way of life from imploding should include a side order of the gospel, and while that is a noble thought, we should rather ask, “what are we missing?”. Maybe the overarching question should be, “what are we losing?” as politics takes center stage more and more. The passing of the head of TPUSA has revealed many things about the church here in 2025, and the biblical maturity of those who are inheriting it. We talk about Christian Nationalism, the marriage of politics and faith; Dominion Theology, postmillennialism, and why Americans are so obsessed with politics. What is the Left? What is the Right? Is it really just Coke or Pepsi? Are Christians so naive to think that there is salvation of ANY kind in politics, considering who owns the systems of the world? We also take a look at a different form of tyranny in the EU where starting in October, the Powers That Be will be spying on their citizens’ chats. No surprises there. With the explosion of the World Wide Web, essentially, the Internet became the information superhighway. Other resources describe the concept as “…directly connects millions of people, each both a consumer of information and a potential provider…” or “a route or network for the high-speed transfer of information…” or “something that will link every home or office to everything else – movies and television shows, shopping services…” And it changed the world. No one saw it coming, any more than people alive in 1890 anticipated the US Freeway system. With that in mind, today’s news cycle gets some context as we talk about all the headlines fit for a Wednesday! We start off with trending news, including the historical 8.8 quake in far eastern Russia. Is it one of the biggest in history as is being claimed? Then we talk about the Trump EU tariff deal and what it means for geopolitics. Today we look at some of the ways to be more hopeful, be less gullible, and all in all have a more positive outlook that stems from unshakeable faith in the Lord, for everything big and small. If the enemy’s greatest tool is deception, our most potent weapon is truth and lots of it. I always figure, if we are not depressed from time to time, we aren’t paying close enough attention. But that needn’t be our way of life. Head into the wind, against the current – that would be us, and we get weary. Sometimes we get anxious, and it can be debilitating. How can we get that out of our lives? Is it possible? Oh yes. Talking hope in the midst of whatever, we all need that. Let’s continue to walk each other home with hearts knit together in love, full of faith and – HOPE.

Those who study the end times from the perspective of the human heart and the angst that biblical events will create probably already understood where this was going. Humans tend to gravitate toward something or someone to worship that preferably doesn’t include accountability to a just and holy creator God. They would rather have a spurious, arbitrary God than one that holds them accountable for their sin and the rejection of the One that represents our deepest need. One that has a beginning and an end so they can philosophize about how brilliant they themselves are. Worship of self, intellect, and general idolatry are the general categories of the Church of AI. Yet the Ai-theist knows full well that this is an impersonal, cold god of their own making. Interestingly enough, they have a catechism, creeds and practices. Since they borrow so heavily from Christianity it is difficult to take them seriously but that’s clearly not any of their concern. As we have seen, intelligence that is real has a creator, as does intelligence that is artificial, but both cannot possibly be a source for truth that is beyond the human intellect.

America being what it is and has been, apart from the citified areas, we tend to think that the wide open parts should be left to the ranchers, coyote, hikers and cowpokes, but soon, depending on the outcome of this legislation, serious acreage could be handed over to renewable energy companies and foreign conglomerates. Also, we look at the Minnesota murders of State Representative Melissa Hortman, a Democrat and her husband, and injuring State Senator John A. Hoffman, also a Democrat, and his wife. Melissa Hortman was the highest-ranking Democrat in the Minnesota House. Why is this so bizarre, and will we ever be able to connect all the dots? We predict it will be looked at no further. We also explore whether or not other nations can turn around and supply Persia with nukes; EU censorship; and military contracts to use AI to fight our battles – turning suit types into occasional soldiers. Then we talk about that mischievous AI, which appears to have a mind of its own in bypassing its own shut-down commands. Next, we cover the upcoming pride month by learning that many corporations are backing off from supporting that agenda, largely due to push back from the more morally minded among us. Finally, we look at paganism in the public schools, being forced on all students who find themselves unable to object. Time to hold these schools systems accountable. Perhaps, since the phrase, “post-apocalyptic” is so common today, and describes those who have survived the worst and lived to tell, and renovate, and repopulate. A fascinating subject that ends with our hope, and how to spread that instead of terror. Calling this mystical mystery tour “authentic prophecy” is flat out deception, but what they describe is to come is so bizarre and yet with the reach of Catholicism in our neighborhoods, there will be some who embrace this, so this is our “great warning” – to stay far away from this film. Also on the list for today is, who is voting for Harris, as in, will men vote for her? Why are Christians saying they won’t vote? These stories have been trending in the headlines so we will take a look at a potential first female president and also what’s on the election docket. It sounds wild considering the thousands of years during which life just rolled on and no one talked about any end game. But in light of news events and Bible prophecy, Christians who are watching and waiting know that they know something is “winding down” – and soon to be “winding up”. We talk about the latest in Israel, the devastation in North Carolina, and the battle of the worldviews coming on November 5 – all headlines that show us that time is short, which we confidently proclaim for anyone to hear within earshot.

The REAL ID Act is not just a piece of legislation; it represents a significant shift in how we perceive identification and privacy in America. Critics argue that it establishes an unconstitutional federal identification and tracking system, reminiscent of China’s social credit system. With its roots in the UN’s international tracking initiatives, the REAL ID program poses a serious threat to our privacy rights.
A Brief HistoryOriginally passed in 2005, the REAL ID Act faced significant resistance from states until President Obama issued a controversial directive in 2015, warning that individuals without a REAL ID would be unable to fly. Despite this pressure, many states still have the option to withdraw compliance. As of now, approximately 44% of Americans lack a REAL ID, and many who do possess one may not fully understand its implications.
The Implications of REAL IDThe REAL ID system infringes on our privacy rights and grants the government unprecedented control over our movement and access. Plans to digitize IDs, making them accessible on smartphones (similar to China’s mobile driver’s license), raise further concerns about surveillance and data privacy.
Recent DevelopmentsOn September 12, 2024, the TSA announced a proposed DHS rule outlining a phased enforcement approach for REAL ID compliance, which could become increasingly burdensome over the next two years. According to the announcement:
“DHS did not select three, four, or five years because it believes a longer time period would further delay the security benefits of REAL ID and is unlikely to provide the same incentive for individuals to obtain a compliant DL/ID.”
This phased enforcement plan aims to push individuals towards compliance by introducing consequences like warning notices and delays at security checkpoints. The enforcement is set to begin on May 7, 2025.
Take Action NowThe deadline for public comments on this proposal is Tuesday, October 15. We need your voice to oppose this unconstitutional measure. Even a simple statement like “I oppose this plan to impose the unconstitutional REAL ID” can make a difference.
Let’s aim for at least 100,000 public comments, with 500,000 being our goal!

Why would anyone choose to believe in a false Christ? According to 2 Corinthians 11:3, our minds can readily be corrupted by our enemy, due to the fall – and we can start to be corrupted ourselves and believe lies. Not only must we test every spirit, but test ourselves, to see if we are in the faith. (1 Corinthians 13:5).

With so much biblical illiteracy in the church, more people at looking at fictional representations and “what is right in their own eyes” to make a Jesus in their own image. Using the text of 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, we learn of Paul’s concerns that his readers (including this generation) would find themselves beguiled and bewitched just as Eve was and their/our minds would be corrupted. We will look at some of the ways this can and will happen at an increasingly rapid rate. Are we willing to tell people that they “have the wrong Jesus” and explain what that means? It’s not just the cults, such as Mormonism, that have the wrong Jesus.

The world is entering into a time unlike any we have ever seen. No, we are not just entering it, we are neck-deep in it. I have been watching, waiting, analyzing and digging into prophetic studies for decades. My very first Bible study ever was on the book of Revelation, and if “you are what you eat” applies to spiritual things, well it’s no wonder the Lord got a hold of my heart to embrace the things to come with joy and anticipation.
But not everyone embraces this often weighty topic with joy; in fact, more and more I get a reaction resembling fear and even panic. The Fear Factor as it relates to prophecy is a very real condition, and I don’t want to make light of it because I don’t take it lightly. Prophetic passages can be very sobering in that human suffering will be ramped up considerably.
But I do want to offer some gentle suggestions to those who struggle with a very real sense of foreboding at the thought that ‘the end is near’, with it’s accompanying birth pangs and global tragedies as outlined in the Scriptures.
Over time, I have learned that there are only 2 responses that stir in the heart of a believer when they hear that time is short, and that the human race is headed for certain “unpleasant” events on our way to redemption and the consummation of all things. As I said, some respond with excitement, joy, and a rush of adrenaline that usually leads to a voracious appetite for “more of that”. If a believer grew up in a denominational tradition that never acknowledged the Bible’s tendency to predict the future with 100% accuracy, these Christians tend to react with the most incredulity that they were kept out of the future loop for so long. I was one of those who was religious but spoon-fed only those things my denomination deemed palatable or necessary for my possible redemption at my last breath. Note, I said, ‘possible’ redemption. The landscape has no shortage of churches that don’t even understand the gospel, let alone a vast subject such as prophecy.
But here I wish to address those who feel great discomfort at the mention of certain events on the prophetic horizon. Things like global government and the accompanying dictatorship, famine, pestilences, wars, and financial insecurities or all-out ruin. The natural response to threats such as these would be fear, as we are all hard-wired to survive and give all we have for our lives. The Bible says that those who are on the earth at that season will literally experience their hearts failing out of fear of what is coming on the planet.
But the key word here is: natural response. To all those Christians who struggle with a fear response to any solid case presented for prophetic fulfillment, you need to know that while your response is natural and understandable, it is not biblical. There are many things in life that scare us out of our wits, and we will feel fear, sometimes daily. But feeling it, and acting on that fear or living by it is not the proper choice for the believer in Jesus Christ, those to who long to see His face and be relieved of any and all suffering from a fallen existence. This world is passing away, rapidly, and we look forward to the one wherein righteousness dwells. This should be good news to all those who are vexed by the lack of righteousness and justice in this life.
But in order for that to happen, God has deemed it necessary that planet earth endure some serious birth pangs as the sin of mankind reaches its fullness, making His judgments righteous and pure, to His praise and glory. Wow, I can get pretty wound up at the thought. I am so looking forward to the day Christ returns in His glory. But I digress – sort of.
Let me propose a perspective that might help anyone struggling with this ‘fear factor’.
Let’s say for the sake of my case here that there are people that God has actually given the task of sounding the trumpet and letting folks know just how late the hour is, and in exercising these gifts, also exhorts them to live their lives in such a way that they really believe that time is short.
2Peter 3:11 suggests that this is exactly what a right perspective should be when we see the handwriting on the wall. “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.” In other words, when we realize that things could be winding down, we should live like we believe it and thus accomplish even more for the kingdom than if we believe we have all the time in the world.
With me so far?
Now let’s say you have a chance to hear a well thought-out prophecy presentation, one that brings forth ample evidence, based on Scripture and solid research, that we are edging closer and closer to that time of which the Bible speaks. But perhaps you are one of those who tends to keep your distance from prophetic topics because it is distressing. But maybe on that day there is someone – perhaps a friend or relative of yours – listening in who sees their lost state, understands that they don’t have all the time in the world after all, and receives Christ before it’s too late. Would you say then that the presentation was meant to terrify, or that the Holy Spirit was truly convicting and working? I have no doubt that countless people have gotten saved thanks to a well-timed and well done prophetic Bible study.
I know many myself, as a matter of fact. I had the “hell” scared out of me reading the Book of Revelation. Chapter 3 to be exact.
Thank you faithful pastor for teaching that book even though you knew it might be frightening to someone.
But if you still think prophecy is merely frightening and has no other value that you can see, think about this: what if no one was watching these things, what if no one was warning? What would the Church be like? Even as fewer and fewer give heed to the times, we can see a great lukewarmness, and social gospel of ‘purpose’ infiltrating and taking over the body of Christ, to her great peril.
But what if no one bothered to address the times in any way? Would you feel more comfortable, or would you at some point be indignant that no one told you in love which end was up? If you want to send a loved one to hear a church service in the hopes they will give their lives to Christ, where do you send them? If all they got was a feel-good seeker doughnut instead of a full breakfast of the gospel, would you be angry that your loved one was not challenged spiritually and simply allowed to simmer in their own sin? It seems more and more that even believers fail to understand what the Church of Jesus Christ even exists for.
As we do get closer, more and more signs will be in place and more and more evidence will present itself that the Bible is the pure word of truth. This is a guarantee. It is not meant to make us feel good, however. So what should our response be as children of the One who has all things in His grasp?
The Bible warns us of these things so we can know what to expect. We are told that when we see these things BEGIN to take place, (implying we will be watching all along if we are believers) we are to look up, lift up our heads (not bow them down in fear) and rejoice because our redemption is nigh. We are told to comfort one another with the blessed hope. Fear indicates we do not trust our Lord with the events coming upon the earth, that He should come up with a different method or plan as this one does not suit us or keep our comfort zone in tact. And remember, people – our kids too – are watching us for our responses to such things.
So if you are one of those who reacts with fear instead of excitement or joy, I would encourage you to set your affections above, and count all things loss for the sake of Christ. This life is but a vapor, eternity is, well, forever. And only by keeping our eyes on Jesus daily can we keep a proper perspective between what is temporal and what is eternal.
