In today's episode we are talking with Michal Bene Senior Vice President at Arca, an investment firm offering institutional caliber products in the digital assets space. Michal leads sourcing, due diligence, and deal execution for Arca’s early-stage venture fund Endeavor. In addition to his portfolio work with founders, Michal guides thematic research into web 3.0 infrastructure opportunities. He has over 10 years of experience in financial services, with previous roles in M&A advisory and private equity. Michal was Director of Business Development at Hedera Hashgraph, where he led the financial services vertical and oversaw partnerships with multinationals and startups building on top of the enterprise-grade public network. Prior to that, he led corporate development for offshore digital assets exchange. Michal began his career in London, focusing on M&A in infrastructure and telecom at Evercore and direct investing with 3i Group. Michal holds an MBA from Wharton, MA from UPenn, and a BA from Yale.

In 2021 he started his journey in NFTs, seeing the world through the eyes of a cactus character called Bep. Bep's curiosity has lead them to collaborate with key communities like Deadfellaz, Lirona’s Boiz, Des Lucrece, KidEight, Alphadogggs, 3landers, Jake the Degen and many more.
Bep and Zack are currently on a mission to highlight diversity and uniqueness in individuals, by creatively taking on the challenge to create a unique 1/1 digital artwork daily and mint on the day. This is a one year Project with extended perks for members. There will only ever be 365 Cacti.
