I’m Skyler, the creator of “The Black Mom.” We are a platform to empower and celebrate the black woman. We cultivate minds, renew spirits, and offer support in a safe place. “The Black Mom” encourages true authenticity as we unite under love for our children.

After having my daughter, I found myself looking for resources to help me navigate as a new mom. I joined various Facebook groups, followed IG pages, and Googled looking for support. I never found anything that truly resonated with me as not only a new mom, but also as a black mom. Now I’m publicly embarking on this wonderful journey as a mom with you and so many other superwomen! I’m here to share my experiences, learn from other moms, and so much more.
