You may have noticed that we didn’t preach verses 9-20 at the end of Mark. You may have also noticed a bracketed note in your Bible between verses 8-9 that suggests the final verses weren’t in the easiest manuscripts of Mark’s gospel. How are we supposed to understand this? Why do our Bibles include these verses if they aren’t supposed to be there? How reliable are the earliest manuscripts? What can we learn from this about the reliability of the Bible? A few of our elders got together to record a brief podcast to discuss these questions and more.
