The month of February also brought some celebrations. While I’m unable to celebrate any of them with many of my loved ones and friends during pandemic times, I’m dedicated this episode to these three events and they are: honouring my heritage with Chinese New Year, exploring and learning about the African community during Black History Month, and taking time to spread love through Valentine’s Day. I will be talking about the commercialization of the New Year over the years adding a brand marketing campaign that appropriately captures the Chinese customs, then moving into a experiment I did for 5 days to see if an Ethiopian diet and training will build my endurance to be a better runner, and lastly, we’ll celebrate love & dating with Bumble, a global social platform. So please join me as we celebrate these three events!
Hello everyone, welcome to episode 3 of the Sporting Beauty podcast where we dive into sports related topics that have truly inspired me, usually one of a kind and tells a tale that goes beyond the sports world! I had a great time putting this together as it involves me talking about one of my favourite things to scroll around on social media, the pet that I someday in the near future hope to nurture, the dog breed that I think Sir Mix a Lot should make a version 2 of Baby Got back for - the most regal of them all, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. But today, I’m not just going to talk about mine and the world’s obsession with corgis, we’re going to look at the growth of corgi racing and why these contests for the short stubby legged dog breed needs more attention from the producers of the Netflix docuseries, We Are the Champions. So please join me as we dive into fun and cruelty-free dog racing in the sporting world.
We’re talking about some of the most recent skincare partnerships in the sports world that have tapped into cultural relevance and have engaged with customers’ through the athletes’ authentic personal stories of what beauty means to them.
