This week I speak to the INCREDIBLE Ash Drew on a refreshing take on grief and loss. After losing her beloved partner back in September 2019, she shares her insights on letting go of regret, fear and worry about what we can't control in order to set yourself free. She shares her infectiously positive approach to grief and how it is not just about losing people, but can encompass any form of change or loss in life. Ash shares how she has in fact become a better version of herself today and has used her loss to steer her to the happiest she's ever been. This is a must-listen for not only anyone experiencing grief but also ANY form of loss, change or setback in life that is pushing you to your limits.

I met Loreal during ones of the darkest times of my life and what she shared with me was pivotal in helping me move forward and take back control of my life in order to get to where I want to be. We discuss the feeling of being judged, dismissed and underestimated and how to come back from the limitations society so often sets us without even knowing who we are. In this week's episode I'm joined by the incredible Tee Cee Johnson, a career coach and tv researcher for BBC Three. We discuss the trials and tribulations of chasing her childhood dream of being a TV presenting along with the pressures of reaching career milestones by a certain age. We discuss dealing with anxiety at work and how to manage worry around how we wish to be perceived.

Her spirit is infectious and I'm so honoured to have got the chance to discuss issues that so many of us face on a daily basis.

James Eder is a remarkably successful human having set up the company Student Beans back in 2005. But in this episode, he opens up about a business venture that didn't go so well which he ended up 'quitting.' We discuss the idea of going against the popular narrative that success comes from not giving up and constantly keeping going.

In amongst this he is also thrown the curveball of a hidden heart condition and the wrath of anxiety that comes with this. In this chat, James shares a refreshing perspective that giving up on something that isn't working is not a sign of failure, it's a sign of strength. Success becomes something entirely different when you realise what the most valuable thing in life is - health.

My first guest for this series is Sophie Grace Holmes, an ultra endurance athlete and all-round inspirational being having defied almost impossible odds living with Cystic Fibrosis since birth. These days, Iron Man challenges are the norm along with motivational speaking and being an influencer as a result of her insights, infectious mindset and general approach to life.

I found it impossible not to feel a tremendous sense of that 'get up and go' feeling after speaking to her. She really is an incredible human being and reminds me that no matter what limitations you may be facing right now, there really is nothing that cannot be reframed into a positive.
