Let me fill you in on what's been going on with the podcast. I've changed the name 4 times, changed the branding, and then dropped off of the face of the Earth. In this mini episode, I'll tell you whats up.
I connected with Ms. Catrina a couple of months ago on Instagram. I was caught off guard that she requested a phone call before discussing the possibility of collaborating on a project. While on the call, she spoke of how BIG GOD is in her business of fashion. This was the first time I've encountered a creative or small business that insisted God be at the forefront of our conversation. As a Christan, I was intrigued by how Ms. Catrina carried the conversation while simultaneously sharing the word of God. I'd love you all to listen to her speak and share her industry knowledge and experience while speaking in her faith.

In today's episode, I interview my husband, Jacob Gadbury, to illuminate the perspective of a non-creative partner. Jacob is analytical and looks at entrepreneurship as a considerable risk. With such opposite views on most things in life, starting my business strained our marriage. We struggled for some time and sometimes still do to communicate effectively. However, we have learned to appreciate each other's fears and views.
After listening, I hope you feel confident that you are not the only one going through a tough time with your loved ones when leaping into your dreams. Creatives are built differently. Some people don't understand but keep pushing anyway!
