Paul watches the surveillance video in the caretaker’s office. After the party, Meili and Tim didn't visibly carry his book when leaving his apartment. Paul tries to find Laura on Facebook. But it’s not easy, and he gives up. Also because this is making him feel like a stalker. Tim calls: He was on vacation. His mobile phone was switched off. Getting accused by Paul makes him angry. He can't have stolen the book because after the party he didn't even have a free hand to carry it. Paul regrets that he is so forgetful and not a good detective. Then he remembers Meili's answer from earlier in the group chat. Paul had to get out of the apartment to clear his head. He’s walking to Tim's bike repair shop because he wants to ask him about the book. He also needs his bicycle fixed. But he forgot about Fritz who arrives at Pauls apartment to help him. He now stands in front of closed doors, and tells Paul in a slightly angry phone call that he doesn’t want to help anymore. Paul finds out that Tim is not at work. He is on vacation and will be back tomorrow. He drops off his bike and walks home in the rain. He thinks he might find Laura on Facebook. How did Fritz want to help? Will he be promoted? Why didn't Laura show up at Paul’s party, and why did she delete her profile? Can Paul find her online?

It's not Fritz who is at the door. Unexpectedly, Paul's parents are standing in front of him. They bring food so that he doesn't stay so skinny. Paul must admit it’s gone. They are very angry and disappointed. The book is antique and worth a couple of thousand euros. Paul has to get it back! The search for the book gets serious.
