"Fresh Take" is our June sermon series here at The Gathering, where we are highlighting new voices and new takes on the most contentious stories of the Bible. Dave and Madi both touch on some of the points they bring up in their sermons, while Jeff chimes in as an outside viewer of the series. The fresh takes we have already heard in the series have opened the door to paths of thought for how we interact with each other -- especially outside of the church setting -- and explore our interpersonal and spiritual relationships. Where have we struggled? Where can we grow? Jesus doesn't answer these questions directly. He answers them with a story -- a parable. The answers we take from those stories are up to us.
