I’m back with another season here on the Elle Potential Podcast and tonight I talk about breaking free from antiquated concepts that were once frowned upon in the work force.
On the episode, I talk about why you shouldn’t feel ashamed of stepping into a position of authority to take charge of increasing your financial well-being.
With the cost of living being on the rise, side hustles have become the new norm.
43% of full-time employees in America say they now have a lucrative side hustle. That’s almost half of the workforce.
If order to achieve financial freedom, you need to increase your level of financial literacy.

On the episode, we talk about what science has to say about HORMONES and BEHAVIOR. Hormones play a big role in our lives. As women, our bodies go through 4 different phases each month.
So let's talk high-level about how our hormones:
The menstrual cycle typically consists of four phases: menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal. Here's how each phase may affect behavior:
It's important to note that not everyone will experience the same behavioral changes during each phase. Additionally, factors such as stress, lifestyle, and overall health can also influence how the menstrual cycle affects behavior.

On the episode, we talk about the lazy girl job phenomena that is shifting the landscape of the workforce and how women think about their jobs.
I originally was against this newly coined term, the idea of "lazy" sounds disempowering and demotivating. I initially jumped to the conclusion that this movement would influence driving women away from professional pursuits and interestingly enough a recent Gallup study found otherwise.
Women are actually entering the workforce in record numbers.
So how is the lazy girl job movement shifting the professional landscape? We talk about this on the episode and explore what women really want.
In today's conversation, we talk about the importance of understanding the shifting workforce trends to maintain a competitive edge.

On tonight’s episode, we talk about the idea of "obsessions" as the ultimate hype. This ideology highlights the transformative power of intense passion and dedication.
I dive into my perspective about being obsessed with the things that you want. Intense passion and dedication can lead to remarkable achievements and generate significant excitement or interest.
However, it's important to note that while obsession can lead to great achievements, it can also have downsides. Excessive focus on a single goal or pursuit may lead to burnout, strained relationships, or neglect of other important aspects of life. Balance is key, and it's essential to consider the potential consequences of relentless obsession.
When harnessed effectively, obsession can lead to remarkable accomplishments and generate significant interest and excitement.
